We decided to go randomly today (Saturday @ 5pm) So many people thought we'd have to wait, no wait they sat us (family of 5) right away. They give you a few minutes in the beginning to look through everything and you check off what you're gonna order. They bring plates and waters while you're browsing the menu. Then they come back to get your order answer any questions. We didn't wait more than 5/10 minutes for food to start coming to the table. We ordered 10 different items and everything was a 12/10 in taste/flavor. Wait staff were so nice and attentive. Don't listen to the 1 star reviews they must have the patience of a toddler. Initially, I walked up to a B rating on the front door. Hopefully they worked to fix that issue. I was going to leave but decided to give it shot. Overall the service was very attentive. I was told if I gave a review I would get a free drink. Maybe the attentive service was to get a better review but I decided not to be bribed into a good review for a free drink. The food. The food was mediocre at best. The table condiments were not wiped down and the chili oil was questionable. The soup dumplings lack soup and were very sticky and the wrapper was thick. The spoons were rounded and you couldn't set them down without the spoons just going to the side. The spicy wontons lacked spice and the sauce was more brown and sweet than spicy. Also the sauce barely even coated the wontons. Shumai should be eaten in one bite but these were huge. 3 in one order but should be smaller and 6 in an order so you can actually eat them in one bite. The flavors were unmemorable. I write this review because I believe these reviews are inflated by people who don't know better and lack the ability to objectively rate a restaurant. I had to come and give a shoutout to One More Bite Dumpling House in Yucaipa because WOW! I've been to another location before, and both have been absolutely amazing. I truly cannot stress enough how delicious everything was! We ordered the Pork Xiao Long Bao, Chicken Udon, and Beef & Broccoli, and everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. But then came dessert... We ordered the Chocolate Xiao Long Bao with Cream Cheese Foam and OMGGGG! My taste buds literally went to another galaxy! It was SO good and such a unique dessert experience. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, and the ambience was so calm and peaceful. The service was wonderful, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, this was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, great service, and such a fun menu. When we walked up, I wasn't very impressed at how dirty the patio was. When we walked in, nobody greeted us and one of the host employees was busy, checking something and he just ignored us and then finally said oh there's a queue right there pointing to an iPad that we had to sign into. We didn't wait very long and when we got to our seats, we waited a pretty good amount of time for our server. There was already waters on the tables when we sat down. The server really didn't even speak to us either- She just came scanned over the paper and left. I took my daughter to the bathroom and I noticed that the bathroom had new toilet paper holders and soap dispensers but overall it looked like it could use a good cleaning, especially the floor. It looked very greasy behind the door and the walls were not newly painted since they probably took over from an old company. Just surprising since it's a brand new restaurant. All of this doesn't affect the food, but it just makes me question how clean the kitchen is. The food was OK. We got the chicken wonton soup with udon noodles and to me the soup wasn't seasoned at all and the broth tasted water down. We also got the Cantonese barbecue bao buns, the bread was super dense. I don't eat bao a lot so I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. We got steamed pork and corn dumplings. They were good. Overall, I don't know if I will return. To me it was just OK. I know they just opened so service can use some work, but to me you have to be able to talk to your customers and make suggestions on what is good and just overall be more engaging. read more

I was really excited when I heard that One More Bite Dumplings was opening in Yucaipa, a city that has always been pretty limited when it comes to good Asian food. I'm happy to say that this location lives up to the Loma Linda location and serves the same authentic flavors. I went on Friday around 5 PM and there was no wait, but by the time we left, groups of people were waiting outside. I'd recommend going a little before the dinner rush if you want to avoid a wait. The restaurant itself is clean, nicely presented, and has a fun Chinese-inspired theme. Service was good overall, although it slowed down quite a bit when it was time to get our check. Our water glasses were refilled once, but after that, no one really came by to check on us, so had to keep trying to make eye contact with someone. That said, the servers were friendly and accommodating whenever we did ask for something. The food was good, especially the Fried Chicken Wings and Pork Wonton Soup. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the wontons were delicious, although the broth was a little on the salty side. The fried rice was slightly overcooked and the rice was a bit clumped together. Despite those minor issues, the best part is simply having a restaurant like this in Yucaipa. There really isn't a huge variety of Asian food options here, so I'm genuinely happy to see more authentic Asian restaurants opening up. Our nearest One More Bite is in Loma Linda, but we decided to check out this location, and it did not disappoint! We caught them during their soft opening and honestly, you'd never know. Everything ran smoothly. We loved the space. The blue interior gives it such a fresh, inviting vibe, and the whole restaurant just feels well thought out. Delicious, fresh, wonderful!! My Husband and I recently moved from San Francisco to the Palm Springs area. One of the major things we miss (we were so spoiled) is good Asian food and especially good dumplings. When we were in Yucaipa we went into the newly opened One More Bite Dumplings House and we loved it!, the restaurant is really clean, inviting, and the staff is great. We watched as three people were making dumplings fresh. Everything we ordered was delicious!! The Xiao long bao were exceptional!! This restaurant is trying to emulate the very popular chain Tin Tai Fong which serves a special dumping. I would say that the signature dumping (shao long pau) is just off the mark from Tin Tai Fong. The wrapping is not as thin as the latter n that is the reason for the 4 stars. The fillings could be a little refined as it was not minced as well. Besides the chilli oil on the table they should also have some other types of chilli sauce available. I would have given 4.5 if there is the option. Service is 5 stars as they have enough staff catering to guests. 5 stars also for the ambiance. The previous restaurant there was called Bella n Yang.
