Searching for Asian food on yelp and found a new place to try. This location is off the 10 freeway. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center to park which was nice. We were warmly greeted upon entry. Each dish that we ordered was freshly made& nicely sized and for the two entrées and the soup ,with two orders of jasmine tea for two people. $42 dollars, worth it for the amount of food we were served , customer service and quality. To start: My family came in at 8:15pm not realizing they close at 8:30pm and they took us in with no problem and treated us so well despite coming in so late. Overall service: superb, truly. The food: we ordered Dinner A option for 4 which came with your choice of soup (we all got egg drop soup), fried rice, appetizers (crab rangoons, fried scallops, and egg rolls), and four entrees. For the entrees we got orange chicken, curry chicken, moo goo gai pan, and pork egg foo young. We all agree that the egg foo young and the orange chicken is the best we've ever had. Everything was very clean and the ambiance was great. Nice and quiet. For all of us to eat and have a soft drink or tea it was only $88 before a tip and we have literally 6 boxes of left overs. At the end of our meal, my 9 year old niece tried to buy an almond cookie with her own $1 and they let her have it. So sweet. HIGHLY recommend. read more

The Egg foo yong is a favorite along with Orange Chicken, Mongolian beef, and several others. This cute place is very clean, the staff are waiting to serve you and very efficient. I hate writing bad reviews as a businessman myself. I want small independent businesses to succeed especially in this economy. Ordered a to-go dinner for Thanksgiving Eve for the family...I should've known better as I stopped patronizing this restaurant when ownership changed awhile back. My experience with the current ownership's food has been bad..just salty and no flavor. Just soy sauce and salt flavor profiles...reminded of bad Chinese food in Amarillo, TX. The previous ownership had better food. Please do better Legend 8 and put some care into your food. There are so many better Chinese restaurants around the area and your food is bad..Panda tastes better and not as salty! Unfortunately this is the last time I come here. " Fantastic Tasting Chinese Food " OMG! My wife and I went to the Legend 8 China Restaurant for dinner because several neighbors mentioned it was a Great Restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant we met Jack, he started as our Server. Jack and the rest of the Servers were very nice and did a good job. As my wife and I looked at the very pretty and long menu with many food items on it. We ordered the following items. We started our meals with 2 Hot and Sour Soups. Those soups were delicious, with so many thick vegetables and a great taste. For our meals, my wife ordered a Mongolian Beef plate with Fried rice and an Egg Roll. I ordered a Kung Pao Chicken plate with Fried rice and an Egg Roll. Both of these plates looked and tasted so Fantastic ! Again the meals are made with so many thick vegetables and the Chicken and Beef were the most tender, and delicious we have ever had at a Chinese Restaurant. These 2 plates and the Hot and Sour Soup were the Best we had every tasted anywhere !!! We will definitely come back to enjoy another meal again at this Legend 8 China Restaurant. Worst Food ever. My partner and I were so excited to try this place since it had great reviews. Once receiving the food I was immediately filled with disgust, chicken did not look like chicken.
