YIKES! I ordered the teriyaki chicken with noodles. It was awful and I mean *awful.* The chicken had a weird taste to it plus it was very dry. I was charged for something I did not want, which added to the bill. THAT was horrible too. My food was cold to boot. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The prices are ridiculous as well. Don't waste your money at this place. The food was bland and overpriced and the portions are so small. Usually when I get Chinese takeout I have enough leftover for the next day. I'd much rather drive an extra 10 minutes to go to Little Beijing in Beaumont where you get way more food for what you pay for. DECENT CHINESE FOOD ON-THE-GO... I'm a busy boy during lunch time and I needed to find a place near work! Luckily, Wall Chinese saved the day. Having a drive-thru window at a Chinese restaurant is an EXCELLENT idea and for that reason alone I'll be returning here. I mean when do you see that?? I also love the big drive-thru menu. It's clear to see and has lots of lunch and dinner options. The service was exceptionally fast and the lady who handed me my food was pleasant. The food is not the absolute greatest, it's standard. I still prefer Panda Express' teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki chicken here at Wall is a bit dry. However, the noodles are yummy! My meal was very filling and they gave good portions. The orange chicken was well-cooked, it was a blend of spicy and sweet. I liked it. If you're passing through Banning or work around here, I'd recommend it. There was a gentleman outside cleaning the parking lot and keeping the restaurant well-maintained. I saw a few parking spots, it's a tighter lot but very accessible off Ramsey. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. THEIR MENUS HAVE ONE PRICE BUT THEN THEY CHARGE A HIGHER PRICE AND STATE THAT IT'S NEW PRICING. The only way I found out was when she charged me, it was higher than I thought it should be. I asked for a detailed receipt and verified that the advertised prices WERE NOT what I was charged. The service from the lady owner she was so disrespectful. I ordered the shrimp and the one regret I have is not taking a picture of the shrimp, I got . They were suppose to look like the photo I just wished I took a picture of what I brought back. I took one bite and they were nasty. They were flat and crunchy and it seemed like they had pieces of shrimp not whole shrimp. I took them back and the owner laughed at me just kept laughing. No manners to her customers at all. She said she could only exchange for wontons. How is that a fair trade I paid for shrimp $7.99 and she wanted to give me wontons for $6.99 and as she continues to laugh at me. I choose two egg rolls which were still cheaper. But I would never recommend this place. The owner is very rude doesn't know how to treat customers if they don't agree with her. Orange Chicken is probably the worst I've ever had. It tastes vaguely like tomato sauce drizzled on greasy deep fried dark chicken. 2. BBQ pork - or rubber pork would be more like it. This is a second review. Since the first review we have been trying the food from the drive thru. Still great and fast service, polite service as well. The portions are good for a to-go order. The only issue I have is with the Chicken & Broccoli. In my mind I have a picture of what it should look like, but when I got home and opened the styrofoam lid I was very surprised. I ordered it with a side of chow main. All looked normal but the Chicken. It was very white. Like it never touched the bottom of a hot pan white. Was it boiled? Was it steamed? I don't know, but it looked very unappetizing. The Chicken & Broccoli also had a weird thin 'sauce' mixed in that was not too good and just made me uncomfortable eating it. Food is great but you need to watch what they charge you or overcharge. Order two combo meals in the C section and noticed that they try to charge 1.00 more for each meal as misc charge? Also I paid cash, when I questioned it, the lady showed me on the menu that prices may change without notice? But the menu and on the wall shows the same price and if they changed the price of the menu why didn't they put it in the price when they rang it up. Again good food but shady business. They charge surcharge for credit or ATM but I used cash? Just be honest as I'll pay if you change the price but when they hide it, bad business. read more

I went Wall Chinese restaurant right before they closed last night. I ordered a 2 entree meal with rice. Both entrees were dried out and the meat tasted really old or spoiled. So I didn't eat it. The rice was also really dried out. They were both rude. The manager (or owner ?) Kept telling me I should have brought it back last night. I kept telling her they were closed by the time I got home to eat. and weren't answering the phone. were closed. So I brought it back the next day with the receipt. The 2 employees I talked to acted like I was lieing which was stupid because I brought the entire meal back minus a couple of bites. The manager kept being rude and told me she could replace it with what I had. I didn't want the same food. She finally offered me my money back and was rude about that. I had given a tip which I regret now. I usually eat their when I am in the area during the summer. I will never eat there again and will tell all my freinds. I don't have a problem with things going wrong but bad food and rude service is ridiculous. It is stupid for businesses to reluctantly make things right. I also realized she had not given me a full refund which is dishonest. Never again. They have definitely gone way down hill since last summer. read more

This place is no longer the value it used to be. Tiny portions and high prices only means they have resorted to cutting corners, and they simply don't care about who returns. Gone is the great lunch buffet and now the lunch combo plates barely fill the 8" salad plate you get. The empty dining room is a bad sign. In Banning to work for a could of days nearby. Thought I'd do a search for some Chinese other than the ubiquitous chain store. Came across this place and had a great dinner! Good chicken egg rolls, LEGIT, tasty BBQ pork and an awesome house special chow mein. There's leftovers for dinner tomorrow night. One issue. They only have the hot mustard packets, which suck. It's so easy to keep a can of Coleman's powder on hand. Same with their sweet and sour dipping sauce for the egg rolls. Good food. I had the Sesame Chicken which was a good representation of the dish. The point off is for just a couple of things. The prices seemed a little high. Add to that, the server asked if I wanted rice with my $12 to-go plate and I asked if it came with rice. Stoped by on my way back home to highland, went to the drive thru. Ordered a two item combo and drink came to $15 with fees and tax. She handed me the food, no fork or napkins not sure how I was supposed to eat it. Got home the teriyaki chicken was super dry but the orange chicken was good the chow mein was OK. All in all I'll probably won't return or i would skip this place and go to panda. My advice is to make sure napkins and a fork are in the bag and perhaps I would get something other then the teriyaki chicken. read more

We have been doing take-out here for the last couple months, and we are really pleased with how great the food is, the variety of menu items and how generous the servings are. This is not your "Panda Express" serving. Each entree is enough for two people. We LOVE the mushroom chicken, and the shrimp dishes have large plump shrimp. The orange chicken is particularly well made, with larger pieces which are never overcooked or dried out. Also, the egg rolls that come with the combos are really delicious. Although the dinner menu is about what you would expect, price-wise, if you dine or take-out before 3, the same dishes in about the same quantity are a great value. Two of us had generous combo meals, with egg rolls, a drink and an appetizer for under $20. Although the ambience is a bit stark like so many Chinese take-out restaurants, the inside of Wall is actually pretty comfortable with many booths and a more open floor plan than is typical. When its available again, dining inside is quite comfortable. I highly recommend Wall for a good, hearty and generous traditional Chinese experience. (Be advised, if you call when the line is busy, you might get a message that you are calling after hours!! I am so glad I tried again a few minutes later last night, LOL) read more

Watch out. They rip their customers off and price gouge. Not trust worthy and charge you whatever they feel like. 2 egg flower soups menu everywhere shows $8.99 each (even on their corrected menu on their counter) and cream cheese wontons $5.59 for 6pc. Should have been $26 at the MOST (with tax and their $0.70 card processing fee accounted for). She Charges me $30.41 and doesn't say a word until I started questioning her. She tries to tell me thats because none of the prices on menu are not correct. I said "don't you think you should tell me that before charging me? do you have new menu showing correct prices because that's price gouging and false advertising." She said "no. That's what it is. I don't know when we will update it. Maybe in a month or two". So I am just supposed to take your word for it? And you mean to tell me people are ordering off a menu and you charge whatever you want behind the scenes with NO detailed receipt? That's theft from every customer that walks through your door. Its not about the $4 for me but it's the fact that you are price gouging all of your customers and being dishonest and charging more than what's shown to all of your customers. That is Bad business and so dishonest. There are plenty other Asian cuisines around here that will not do that to you and are actually honest with great customer service. So I usually come here to eat as it's my family's favorite Chinese food restaurant. The fried garlic is absolutely amazing and the black and pepper fried chicken wings. Typically their food is fresh however..... I ordered two large War wonton soups with shrimp and vegetable fried rice with a orange chicken and teriyaki combo. Upon getting home since I'm under the weather I start eating my soup first which smells magnificent. I started noticing the Napa cabbage having these tiny black spots on the entire leaves and at first I thought it was the seasoning, so after the sixth piece of Napa cabbage I pulled from the soup I rubbed it to see if it would come off and unfortunately the black spots did not. Being in a family of chef's I knew immediately it was actually black mold and the vegetables were not being cleaned properly. So I called the restaurant and notified them and was told to come back. From a prior incident with a restaurant cooking flies in my omelette and having the health inspector tell me they are finding more restaurants during the pandemic knowingly serving rotted produce I refused to eat anything. The restaurant employee attempts to prove that is how Napa cabbage looks and brings a plate of chopped cabbage covered in black mold. Ummmm no! The. They blamed the vendors. I told them fire the vendors because they are going to get you closed down: after spending 7 min haggling for a full refund minus the soda and heavily disappointed I will Not be coming back! This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had it was mostly water down I had egg foo yong it tasted like a piece of bread with some vegetables on it and they had a thing that looked like soup they said that was the sauce it was terrible I ordered orange chicken one of their plates which was supposed to come with a drink but their machine was broken so there was no drink and they didn't offer one while I was inside a homeless person came by trying to get food and asking for money this would be the worst place ever, don't waste your time or money. If I order on GRUBHUB... with the added Fees, Taxes and Delivery Fees plus raised prices? I pay around $34.00. When did they raise the prices of Drive Thru up over $10.00?? I will not be returning since they want to rip people off!! They do this to a lot of people.
