Only got pieces of jalapeño (not even a full circle slice? C'mon!). The imitation wasabi was the color of Playdough, and they use KariOut soy sauce packets. The flavors were there but you can get better quality sushi for the same or a buck or two less per roll. It took 24 minutes for one roll to-go. Had the takoyaki on another visit and the octopus inside was so incredibly tiny (and tasted frozen/microwaved). The prices were high and the sushi was his thin as a paper. The waitress came over and asked me how everything was so I told her. This was my first time trying this sushi spot and honestly it was a rough experience. As soon as I walked in there was a strong vomit-like smell hanging in the air. It completely killed my appetite and made it hard to even look at the menu with interest. The service was just okay. A younger person was running the front and while I try to be understanding, I've kind of stopped expecting much from customer service with the younger crowd. At this point I just assume the bare minimum and avoid disappointment. I got my roll and took one bite but it wasn't enjoyable at all. I couldn't tell if the taste was actually off or if the smell in the air was messing with how everything tasted. Either way, I didn't want another bite. I didn't even drink the water because I was genuinely concerned the smell could be coming from the water supply or something nearby. I took it back inside and explained to them that the description of this item on their menu does not say it has anything in it besides cream cheese and sauces.
