House Special Role and Playdough colored wasabi.

Just OK. The fish is sliced improperly and inconsistently (thick pieces and some pieces not cut against the grain). Fish tasted fine and not old. Only got pieces of jalapeño (not even a full circle slice? C'mon!). The imitation wasabi was the color of Playdough, and they use KariOut soy sauce packets. The flavors were there but you can get better quality sushi for the same or a buck or two less per roll. It took 24 minutes for one roll to-go. Had the takoyaki on another visit and the octopus inside was so incredibly tiny (and tasted frozen/microwaved). Overall I think the quality is not worth the high price, but decent enough for when you're really craving sushi and don't want to drive to OC/LA for the better stuff.

The food was delicious. First we loved the California Tempura Roll and secondly the Beef Miso Ramen with chicken were our favorites. We aren't huge on seafood so the baked lobster roll wasn't our favorite so we took it home to my husband and he loved it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was busy, the service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back!!

I was next-door getting a pedicure and my girlfriend talked me into coming in here for sushi and giving this place a second chance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in the store this time there was no foul odor other than fish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were busy as almost every table was occupied.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They only had one person taking orders and it took about 25-30 minutes for us from the time we sat down to the time we ate. The lady that took our order is not very personable. on the sushi rolls they give you no options for rice alternative (rice paper, sharitaki, or cauliflower rice) The saving grace was the food is good. The flavor of the food I would give a 5 out of 5.. The lady that took our order when she brought out our glasses and food. Her hands were inside the glasses and the bowls when she put them down on our table.

First time here and wow I've been missing out! Great little spot with friendly and fast service. The food was so good, full of flavory and the serving size was very big. I'll definitely be back again

Good sushi two hours east of LA? Why yes! The nigiri prices are very reasonable and the sushi rice is seasoned and the right texture. The salmon and yellowtail are melt in your mouth good. The salmon collar was some of the best I've had. The servers were very attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very relaxing and casual atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for kids as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend this place!

The service and food was excellent. I had a takeout order. Did not have to wait very long.

Amazing tasting food, we got the Original Beef Ramen , Miso Bbq chicken ramen, Vegetable Ramen, and the sushi, all of which taste great and in solid portions. The place was fully packed at 7:00PM on a Saturday with no extra seats however we didn't have to wait in any line to get seated. Great price point for the food and I would come back if I'm ever in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance wasn't too loud and the music wasn't overpowering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're looking for a good local sushi spot then look no further. Darumaya is great for satisfying your sushi cravings. The customer service is great, Angelina up front taking orders is nice, patient and has a vast amount of knowledge about the menu. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Sushi is good. As for their ramen, you'd be better off with instant ramen. The candy after the meal is great, though.

Unlike high-priced, overly decorative spots that fail to deliver on flavor, Fuego Carvings gets right down to what actually matters: incredible, authentic food and warm hospitality. The restaurant is spotless, comfortable, and well-sized, with authentic Mexican music playing at just the right volume so you can actually enjoy your conversation. As a massive soup lover, I had to order the Birria (plus a taco), while my wife went with the tamale plate: The Birria: The absolute star of the meal. It arrived in a massive 32 oz bowl packed with remarkably tender meat and a deep, flavorful broth. Honestly, I would have gladly paid more for a bowl this good. The Tamales: My wife thoroughly enjoyed her plate--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was top-notch, and the prices offer fantastic value for the quality and generous portions you receive. We can't wait to go back and try the Menudo--if it's even half as good as the Birria, it's going to be a winner. If you want authentic Mexican food where you truly get your money's worth, do not skip Fuego Carvings!

There are several different stations of made to order food. You go to the station you want and choose an entree and they carve it or make it for you. You choose a side that's already made, then at the end of the line, you pick up your food. They have a prime rib station, chinese noodles station, mexican station, and a seafood station. Too bad today they didn't have the lobster roll. They said their menu changes every 2 weeks or so. They have a beverage station and dessert station that you can grab 5 desserts at a time. If you want crab its an extra 20$ and alcohol is also extra. Overall, its decent. The prime rib was really good to me, but since they didn't have lobster roll today, I was disappointed.

Its on the first floor, easy to find if you do self parking in the structure in the back. There are kiosks to reserve and pay, but I wasn't able to get a table that way. Thankfully there is a live person whom you can pay with and your seating time is written on your receipt. One adult came out to $50 plus I left $5 tip at the table. $20 more if you want crab legs, but I opted out and it was a good thing because I got very full very quickly. Even though my seating time said 8pm, I was able to get seated at around 735pm. I said it was my first time so I got a run through of how everything works. I started from the back right and made my way around. Went to get Mexican first and since I dont eat meat, I just got rice and beans with peppers and elote corn with all the toppings. They do have an Asian place with wok inspired recipes but I couldn't eat anything from there. I'm glad they have a seafood place though. They had a good amount of choices for seafood. I started with clam chowder and fish and chips. Chowder was decent, but fish and chips were not. The fish was too oily and not crispy. Fries were not very hot. The portion was also too big so I barely ate any of it. I was going to circle back and try the seafood stew and poke but that didn't happen. Instead, I got fruit, salad, and pesto pasta. The salad was actually good and fruit helped wash everything down. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware my pasta was going to have bacon in it so I ate only a few bites and then decided to stop. I went over to the chicken and waffle place next and I liked that I was able to customize what I wanted. I got little servings of waffle, corn bread, cole slaw, tomato bisque, and mac and cheese. I was so stuffed by then that I only took a few bites of each. Before desserts I went to the prime cut area and they had many things I could order such as salmon, yuka fries, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. I was so full so I knew i couldn't order anymore. I told the server I need to take a walk and maybe circle back. I went to desserts after and they had an arrange of choices. I got some soft serve and a mango cake. I took some bites of those along with the fresh fruit from earlier. At around 845 I did circle back to the prime cut area and noticed they put away all their displays. Im not sure if that meant they weren't serving anymore, but the buffet isn't supposed to close until 9pm, so closing the serving area early isn't great when the restaurant is still very full of people. The marketplace is worth it in my opinion. There's actually a lot of choices for just about anyone who isn't vegan and you can definitely eat as much as you want here. I heard they do rotate their menus. They have 2 self serve soda fountain areas and I was able to make a small cup of coffee to take with me for the hour ride back home. One more thing, it's probably worth it to use your morongo card to see if they have any discounts or perks for dining. I forgot mine at home and the line to grab another one at the help desk was moving slowly so I didn't wait to get one. Neverthess, whenever I come out here to shop, I will make an effort to dine here as part of my annual tradition of shopping in Desert Hills.

I don't understand how they're still in business. As for ambiance, it's just a food truck within the Cabazon Outlet with tables and chairs. The best advice I can give is... AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. We ordered pad thai and it was $18... which should be a crime in itself. The noodles were extra soggy and covered in some weird sweet and sour sauce that made me gag. The way they cooked the eggs looked and tasted even more pathetic. I know for a fact whoever cooked it had absolutely no idea what they were doing. We threw everything away in the trash. I should have asked for my money back. Aside from the noodles, we also ordered two orange iced teas which we ended up tossing out as well... another 20 bucks in the garbage. I'm glad I didn't order anything else from this authentic thai food truck. Everything was so bad I was compelled to write this review immediately after we left. I've had bad thai food many times before but this was by far the worst ever. The food we ordered was NOT edible! I am now questioning everything else in that truck. Something is definitely off and I don't know why I have a feeling they would not pass inspection if they had a surprise visit from the inspector. We had our food passed to us through a dirty mesh screen which should have been another red flag. They advertised authentic thai food but also sold tacos as well. Strange. In total, we wasted approximately $40 on overpriced garbage. We're pissed that we didn't read the reviews first before coming here. LESSON LEARNED.
