I am so sad I didn't take pictures for you to see the food I ordered but promise to my next visit. Let me tell you about the delish food I ordered, it was down right amazing. There was so much to choose from. Service was excellent. Owner/Chef Kat is super sweet, the staff were so kind & efficient. Definitely no complaints here. Ambiance was nice. Extra parking in back with rear entrance which makes is nice if front parking is full. Had to try the Chef Kat's special Sinigang Fried Chicken Wings crunchy and flavorful coating with perfectly juicy chicken, definitely spicy but oh so good. Next time I'll try 1/2 the Spice on them. While I was there someone did order no spice so that's an option if you can't handle the heat. Then ordered Adobo Fried Rice which is definitely the go to rice on the menu for me from now on! I was expecting to taste the vinegar but it was so good there is no way I was disappointed. It also had chunks of chicken within. So yummy! The crunchy garlic in the rice just added a special goodness. Next I ordered Pancit Bihon which was delish. Requested lemon which I'm accustomed to eat with Pancit, they didn't have any but did happen to have lemon juice on hand which worked out just fine. I also ordered a family favorite Lumpia Shanghai. Just like I'm accustomed to, perfectly balanced pork & veggie lumpia. They were so good I ate 8 out of the 10 myself and ordered another order to accompany me home with my leftover food. I was so glad I had lots of leftovers to bring home for later. My family was super thankful too because I shared the leftovers with them, which they totally enjoyed. Smiles on everyone's faces today. Some of the food was over seasoned and the kung poa had no poa very little heat if any. Watch for up charges as well. Plain fried rice is just that just rice nothing else. All in all I found it a bit pricey for what you get. Will keep looking for that go to place. read more

I just picked up some pancit and lumpia from there, did you guys change the recipe for your pancit? It had an almost burnt flavor in it that you could smell right away and taste as well. I was so disappointed! I've had your pancit before and it did not taste this way. Unfortunately there aren't many Filipino food options here in Beaumont so please do better! I'm embarrassed for our culture by the food being served here to represent us Pinoys! I get you're a fusion place but don't call it the traditional name if it isn't that in its entirety! Chicken Katsu Kare Kare was so yummy and perfectly cooked! The portion was huge so it was perfect for me and my boyfriend to eat it with some leftovers. I think the nutty kare kare sauce with katsu is a perfect combo 10/10 I also got a banana turon matcha latte and the person that made it hand whisked the matcha and everything looked carefully made. This drink was the perfect dessert after the food! The service and ambience here are great. I went here with my mom once and the food was amazing and the second time did not disappoint. HOLY COW!!! First off it's really nice to see a Far East Restaurant in Beaumont that is not the fast food Chinese Style Food. Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with those places and believe me I definitely eat at those places BUT... Every Since our Beloved Wings in Banning closed its doors it's been hard finding a Chinese food restaurant with the same Vibe. Enter KASAMA, first off the way we were greeted and made to feel welcome gave them an instant 10 out of 10 the Owner and 1/2 of the Chef team was so sweet and offered suggestions since we were first timers. We ordered the Veggie Egg Foo Young, Crispy Orange Beef, Peanut Noodles and of course Lumpia. What makes this place unique is that it's Filipino and Chinese fusion the wife is Filipino and the Husband is Chinese. It's very hard for me to find an egg foo young that I truly love and this place certainly did the job it was like no other Foo Young that I have ever had. The Orange Beef was crispy and sweet, the peanut noodles are fantastic but be warned it's spicy. The beauty of this restaurant is they can Taylor their food to your taste and they are happy to do it. My family and I checked out Kasama Restaurant during its soft opening week and the food was delicious. It's great to have something in Beaumont that represents the Filipino culture. I chatted with one of the owners, Kat about her plans for the future and I'm excited to see what her and her husband bring to the table. EDIT: Ok, it really is 4 stars now instead of "hehe 5 stars in the review" I've dined in once and did 3 takeout orders since, and from these 4 visits there were two times the food was AMAZING, like, overeat and feel sick but soooo satisfied amazing... The other two times though, the food didn't seem to induce the nirvana of a food coma. It's still good, these galbi (i think?? kalbi??) ribs are amazing and tender and i recommend them . Another thing is their pancit bihon, when i dined in the first time there was someone walking around with a pot of pancit offering samples of it cause they were experimenting with the recipe. It was the best pancit ive ever had, it was extremely light but had such deep savory-ness. The second time i ordered it for takeout they managed to keep it just as light while doubling that deliciousness... But the third and 4th time i ordered it that same flavor is still there but it's gotten wayyy saltier than it was before which is a little bit of a letdown :( I wish my experiences could be more consistent because the food is amazing but it seems like its a 50/50 on whether or not your meal will be the most amazing thing ever, or just meh. Ube horchata was SO GOOD it reminded me of Christmas with the perfect blend of cinnamon and Ube and so was the Thrilla in Manila - so sweet and delicious. Chef Kat was awesome! She took great care of us. We got the Bahala Na Si Chef (Chef's Choice Experience) and it way exceeded our expectations. We got to meet Chef herself. Even though it was a busy night, she squeezed us in, got to know our story, and got to work on our food. It came with an appetizer, two entrees, and dessert. All the staff we met were so welcoming, we felt right at home. We noticed they took the time to talk stories with so many other tables too. The food was innovative without too far of a departure from Filipino food. I especially enjoyed the sinigang fried chicken wings. I usually don't like fried foods, but this was crazy good. The skin was super crispy and the sinigang gave it a sourness paired with acidity from the calamansi sauce. The drinks were refreshing and also very innovative. They take a great deal of pride in how they source each of their ingredients. We also were served all courses up to an hour past their closing time and were encouraged to take our time with eating. Then we noticed that 2 customers that came AFTER us was given their food (appetizers and main food). I complained to the waitress. The waitress told me it was because they ordered appetizers and then asked me if we ordered appetizers. Super SLOW service at 5 p.m. on a Friday when there were only 2 tables occupied. 2. Server didn't know whether the restaurant served thigh or breast as their chicken of choice. The sinigang wings were very good, bold flavor. Crispy tofu sinsig was awesome, fried tofu and fresh crisp cut up veggies tossed in a creamy sauce. Chicken katsu kare kare was good tasting, but gai lan and eggplant should be cut up and egg plant needs cooked through. The Ube horchata was very good but they don't always have it. pancit bihon didn't stand out and was very bland compared to the rest of the food. I would recommend occasionally but they are priced a bit high. Almost every dish could go down by 2-3 dollars easy. The staff is very friendly and overall its a 5 stars. read more

Disclaimer- LONG REVIEW because this place deserves it: Came into town to visit Oak Glen and went down towards Cherry Valley/Beaumont to get on the 10 the freeway on the way home. We visited this local NEW Filipino-Chinese Asian Fusion restaurant. My first impression was with the interior & it gave me a with a warm homey feeling as if I was stepping into my Lola's (Grandma) home but somewhat modernized with beautiful Filipino inspired art on the wall showcasing the Philippines & the culture. I came with my husband, son & friend and we were greeted by the polite staff. My friend and I went straight to the boba menu on the screens and immediately noticed the wide selection of Boba teas & milk teas. The selection seems to try to accommodate anyone's tea preference. You could tell the Boba Bae menu was carefully thought out because the different tea mixes & combinations offered a wide selection: from your classic house favorites & some unique blends of "coffee/matcha meets milk tea, which is what me & my friend were craving for - an afternoon caffeine pick me up. I ordered the Purple Rain Ice Coffee (pictured) & my friend order the Matcha Strawberry Fields Forever. And let me tell you...the FIRST SIP does HIT DIFFERENT! I tasted my drink and it was a good strong coffee flavor with a hint of a sweet Ube flavor & not overpoweringly sweet (maybe because I adjusted the level of sweetness). But I was surprised how delicious it was. It was actually one of the best Coffee Ube combos I've had. I say this because I've tried several in OC & LA county from "famous" local boba & coffee shops that are known for making fan favorite drinks & this drink was just *chef's kiss*. The Matcha Strawberry Fields Forever tasted delicious too. You could tell they used a high quality grade matcha because it doesn't taste like "Starbucks" matcha. It has nice nutty flavor and again the strawberry mix doesn't over power the nuttiness and taste of the matcha. Boba was also a great chewy and sweet texture (as you'd expect good honey boba to taste). As for the food: we came right before the dinner rush at 4pm so it wasn't busy yet. We ordered a classic Filipino breakfast staple- Longsilog (sweet pork chorizo + egg over garlic fried rice), their sizzling sisig plate (pork belly hot plate dish), & the Spam Brûlée. All the food met expectations but the Spam Brûlée (spam masubi) shareable/appetizer was the highlight of our meal (at least for me). A twist on your stereotypical spam masubi (a Hawaiian street food/on the go snack) that has a taste profile fit for those who like the "salty & sweet" combo. Disclaimer: it takes a while to prepare so prepare to wait for it, but with the wait IMO. Aside from drinks and food, the presentation of the food was a 5/5 experience because I love how the food was presented on a 'banana leaf' plate. It felt like I was having a kamayan style dinner (traditional way food for large family style celebrations was served - on a large banana leaf & we'd eat with our hands and the plate itself was the leaf). I lowkey wanted to take home the plates (but might buy something like this for my own home one day). Highlighting the knowledgeable and friendly staff at restaurant- our server (sorry, I forgot her name) was sweet and bubbly and she made us feel at home with her familiarity with the food and speaking some Tag-lish to us as she explained the menu. She accommodated us well and served us quickly. She made sure we were taken care of and updated us if our order had changes or was delayed (applicable only to the Spam Brûlée). All in all the restaurant staff was hospitable & the food and drinks were up to par with our expectations with surprisingly good Milk Teas/Coffee & delicious fusion of Filipino-Chinese-Asian food on the menu. P.s. As we were leaving, they started their special event in the back of the restaurant that had a DJ and trunk or treat event. Before leaving, my son was able to enjoy dancing with the live DJ and getting free candy. I guess there's usually something special being hosted by the Restaurant in the back on weekends at nights. We found this gem when we went to 123 Farm Lavender Festival last Saturday. On the way, we saw this Resto named, "Kasama Resto" . We came around past 6pm with a group of friends(9 of us), and even though they will be closing at 8pm, they still accommodated us. We ordered Fried Chicken Sinigang, Chopsuey Vegetables, Fried Tofu Sizzling Sisig, Pork Sizzling Sisig, Chicken Katsu Kate-Kare, Chicken Lettuce Wrap and Garlic Fried Rice. Chef Kath even went out to talk to us about their Filipino specialty with a twist and they serve Chinese food as well. Lilly provided excellent and courteous service(and entertainment, as she sang along with the music, displaying a vocal talent that could easily be appreciated by a venue with 60,000 people, she is just amazing). The woman who waited on us was really sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. Another family came in after us, as well as some drunk dude who thankfully was escorted out by the police, but overall the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the service was really top notch for a place that is re-branding. Some notes- they didn't seem to have a fountain drink station, but were selling sodas in cans. They offered us soy sauce, chili sauce, sweet garlic chili sauce (amazing with the cheese wantons), and everything came in little individual bowls. What we ordered- we both got the combination plate- on the menu it says it's for lunch but we were told we could do it for dinner as well. My husband got orange chicken, beef and broccoli, fried rice/lo-mein. I got orange chicken, king pao, Filipino garlic rice/lo-me in. Also, hubs wanted cream cheese wantons and truly everything we ate, I'd get again NO QUESTION. The beef and broccoli was some of the best I've had. Really enjoyed the service and food coming to this Filipino Chinese fusion restaurant with my cousin and friend for an early morning breakfast on Valentine's Day. We don't have many fusion spots in the area so this place definitely hit the spot, I got the sisig burrito which was very bomb and savory just a little too spicy due to green chilies so I'd remove them next time. Another thing to add is that they have a cute boba bar with coffees to complement your breakfast, really digging the tiramisu coffee. I think it's also cool that both chefs are the owners and add both their cultures into their menus. I'm curious to see what else they may add in the future,also looking forward for their turon French toast to be added soon! read more
