A HIDDEN GEM in the Inland Empire. If you are around Beaumont, you must try this place!! It's the best Filipino Cantonese fusion restaurant in the IE! A family owned business known for its unique blend of traditional and reimagined dishes!! A welcoming, local spot that aims to create a sense of community. They kept the flavors that everyone knows but added their own twist. This is from 2 recent visits to Kasama: Chef Kat's Sinigang Fried Chicken Wings - ultra crunchy, golden fried chicken wings with a bold, tangy sinigang sampalok dry rub tossed in a light calamansi garlic butter glaze, scallions and chilis (MY FAVE) Crispy Salmon Belly Sisig - sizzling, crispy, tangy, creamy, and mildly spicy; alternative to pork sisig Bambino's Plate; Kalbi Ribs, Honey Walnut Jumbo Prawns, Veggie Pancit Bihon, garlic rice and a scoop of mac salad. The Kalbi ribs are the star! Pork Lumpia - so crispy and crunchy! Love with sweet and spicy sauce! I could eat like 10 of them! Adobo Rice Garlic Rice NEW SPRING / SUMMER MENU Gochy-crunch Rangoons - imitation crab, cream cheese filled crispy wonton squares topped with gochujang cream, sweet a chili drizzle, furikake, and scallions. Fun nachos with a Chinese twist (MY FAVE) Camaron de Kasama - crispy white pepper fried prawns (high quality) served on a coconut-lemongrass coriander emulsion. Chicken Lettuce Cups - sautéed ground chicken, water chestnuts, scallions and hoisin; served with lettuce cups. (MY FAVE) illocos Tacos - housemade annatto-infused shell, vigan logganisa, monggo, atchara and cilantro served with sukang iloco sawsawan. Taco form of the popular illocos empanadas. (MY FAVE) Okoy- Tempura fried matchstick carrots, sweet potato, shrimp and sweet onions. Extra crispy and served with spicy vinegar sawsawan. Filipino street food version of veggie tempura with a giant prawn; so insanely good! Kinilaw - premium quality Bluefin tuna, coconut-calamari sauce & cane vinegar with fresh, sweet diced mango and garnished with crispy sweet potato strings & served with crispy wonton chips. Popcorn Chicken - tossed in a 5 spice powder and garnished with fried basil. Their take on Twainese popcorn chicken. Moules and Frites - steamed Blue Mussels (high quality) in a white wine, garlic broth with butter and shallots, finished with fresh parsley, malunggay (moringa) leaves. Served with garlic fries. Triple Threat - Caramelized banana egg roll (turon) with a scoop of macapune (young coconut) ice cream & Ube dust. Love the CRUNCH with the creamy ice cream!!(MY FAVE) DRINKS Jungle Juice - coconut water base mixed with pineapple, orange and guava juice & a splash of grenadine (MY FAVE) Ube Hojicha - housemade with the perfect amount of sweetness Turon Matcha Latte - caramelized banana iced matcha (ceremonial grade) topped with brûlée cold foam This is a great place for brunch or dinner! Lovely indoor seating that's nice and open. They cater as well.

Restaurant smelled delicious but the food was such a disappointment no flavor, the meat taste reheated, the pancit did not taste like pancit, the orange chicken had a after taste the egg foo young and walnut shrimp were the only meals that were delicious and worth the price. Not worth what I paid for. Meals are over priced

Great music playing in the background and great service even though she was alone. The wings had a perfect crunch to them and were very good as was the rice. Not a big rice fan but this was very good. Lumpia was good as well. If you're looking for a wing Wednesday place this is worth a try. Only negative is a 3% surcharge for credit card so bring cash.

Sneak peek into their Spring Menu dropping April 11th so yummy!

I want to make this a longer review soon but for now I just want to say 5 star location and it was well earned. Service was impeccable. The ambiance has plenty of tables with red metal chairs and beautiful art work. They have two bathrooms available for guest. The food it made me say "mmm" more times than any other restaurant ever. I can't wait to go back but for now I recommend the ube horchata, Turon matcha latte, pop corn chicken, & gochu-crunch rangoons, as well as the camaron de kasama. Everything had so much flavor and was made with love you could tell. They have an exclusive spring menu coming April 11th! You must try the chicken lettuce cups and illocos tacos when you get the chance. They are known for their wings! Come now & try Chef's Kat food with your own mouth! You will not regret it! I myself will be coming back asap.

Everything from the ambiance, to the food, and service was 10/10 my absolute FAVORITE are the sinigang wings omgggg I love them extra spicy, they're just so finger licking good!! It was my first time ever trying garlic rice and wow! So fluffy and flavorful, I enjoyed it with the wings together, chefs kiss. For a drink you ABSOLUTELY need the Turon matcha!! The caramelized banana taste is life changing tbh. Definitely try all of this!!

Food was great! Service took awhile, so don't come starving or order WAY ahead. Pancit was a bit spicy which was unexpected as i was sharing with my kids.. The lychee drink was AMAZING, 10/10! Will be back

Chicken wings and garlic fried rice.

These are probably some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. It was served over garlic, fried rice. It was spicy and sweet and tangy and very delicious. I will be back very very soon to get it again and to try some other things as well.

Service was so good here! Staff was incredibly friendly. The food was a solid 8/10. Loved everything we ordered but was not too impressed with the garlic shrimp. But otherwise, everything else was amazing! Thanks to the barista/cashier for the fantastic recommendation of the hojicha drink. Place was really clean and bright. 10/10 all around!

I ordered from doordash. Sizzling sisig in a bowl with lots of rice is 26 bucks The sisig was measly. The only thing I tasted was mayo. Overly spicy. So disappointed. For 26 bucks this was highway robbery. Golden Fried Chicken 32.50 bucks for 2 pieces of chicken in a bowl 32 bucks for 2 pieces of chicken and rice is also a highway robbery. Please see pics. It tasted like a normal chicken. Sinigang Fried Chicken Wings 27 bucks Sinigang wings was good I'd rate it 7/10 I can eat it again. 27 bucks I guess is okay for this. My order was late 20 mins delayed per my doordash person. I dont know If Im coming back again. Or will be ordering here again. 3 dishes for 100 bucks. I badly wanted a refund. I paid 100 bucks in green leaf chino or cerritos and we got a lot of left overs and it's like a feast. This one is overpriced.

This is what the kamayan experience looks like. All the food is on banana leaves and we eat with our hands. So fun and delicious!
    Erin C.

My friends and I booked the kamayan experience and it was amazing! The food and service was great. We got to meet Kat, the owner and chef, she is so great! We will definitely be back!

Gochu crunch rangoons & Ube Horchata

The service was pleasant the young girl who helped me was sweet & attentive the ube horchata was good tasted a little off maybe a stronger ube than I'm use to. The rangoons were delicious! Only downside is just this was $20

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and I'm so glad I finally did. It's really cute inside and casual which I appreciate. We ordered lumpia shanghai and ahloo's curry noodles. Both were delicious! The young man working the front of house was really nice and helpful. We were there on a Friday night around 5pm and it was pretty busy. Lots of walk in to go orders and call in orders as well as in person diners. I'm excited to go back and try so many more things since I'm not familiar at all with Filipino or Cantonese food.

    Sinigang Fried Chicken Wings
    Christine F.

I want to first say the employees are very customer focused and kind. For that reason I will be back! I came in to check out the food because it keeps popping up to try and I love Filipino food! The restaurant was very clean when I walked in. Coming from work I just wanted to do a pickup. I wanted to try the skewers, but they were unfortunately out already. I wanted to try the fried chicken and that was also sold out. It was recommended that I try the Sinigang wings. She even asked me how long my drive home was because she wanted them fresh and crunchy for me. I also tried the pork lumpia. When I got home the food was perfectly fresh (everything is cooked fresh). The flavor was pretty good, they definitely have their own spin on Filipino food, but it was very sour for me, but still not bad. The lumpia was very crunchy, but the flavor wasn't the best for me. Maybe I don't usually get pork, so it could be my own issue. Or maybe they are just made different. I would want to go back and try something different next time, probably the items they were out of and maybe vegetable lumpia. I usually order my lumpia from a caterer so maybe it's just a different type of lumpia. I wanted to add that today the food was even better after heating in the air fryer. Usually food isn't as great as the first day, but this time I was impressed.

Pork chops, we said extra garlic n they delivered!

The pork buns had a subtle sweet and tender meat and the bun itself was fluffy. The lan fried dumplings didn't taste pan fried, they tasted deep fried and were a little too crispy. The filling was tender as had a lot of meat. The Xiao long bao had a nice amount of broth in them but the flavor was a little subtle. The shao mai are huge. They're almost too big and there's so much meat. I would enjoy a little more dumpling dough. The house special fried rice was amazing. The rice was moist, the meats were cooked perfectly, and it was aromatic with a nice umami flavor. My favorite item of the evening was the house special fish. The glaze in this lightly breaded fish was amazing. It gave a little sweet, a little savory, a little spicy. It was cooked with onions and mushrooms. I will come back just for this. The service was great. We were seated immediately and they bring the food out as they prepare it. The ambiance is casual. They have a small dining area near the counter to order and a larger area off to the side. They offer booth and table seating and can accommodate a larger area off party. Give them a try if in the Fontana area.

The flavor was good and I enjoyed them, but unfortunately they were missing one of my favorite parts of xiao long bao. The soup. There was very little to no broth inside. The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. On our first visit, we ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, shrimp lo mein, and the rock cod fillet in black bean sauce. The fresh fish was absolutely delicious and a great recommendation from our server. The wings were perfectly fried and seasoned, and the portions were generous enough for the two of us to share comfortably. Our server was fantastic--super friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal. We were very grateful for her. For our second visit, we ordered many of the same dishes but decided to try the salt and pepper fish instead of the rock cod. It was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Another great choice! The service on our second visit was a bit slower, but it seemed to be a much busier day. We had to ask for our rice, and we never received a water refill. Thankfully, my husband wasn't drinking much of his water, so I was able to finish his. Even with those minor service issues, the food was excellent and more than enough reason for us to return. I'm confident it was simply an unusually busy day. Overall, great food, generous portions, and a restaurant we'll definitely be back to visit again.

We were feeling pretty hungry and wanted to try their lunch specials... FISH WITH BLACK BEAN SAUCE: 8/10 I thought the Chow Mein was delicious and the fish with black bean sauce was cooked pretty well. I just didn't expected it to have so much gravy sauce and the fried rice was on the dry side... KUNG PAO CHICKEN: 9/10 My husband enjoyed this dish very much. I had a taste and I thought the chicken has a really nice char from the wok... I actually came back the next day with my mom and ordered another lunch special... CHICKEN WINGS: 10/10 Star of the show!! Wow!! I was wondering why I kept seeing trays of chicken wings being ordered. The roasted duck looks delicious too... SERVICE: Good service. The lady and guy were both pretty nice and welcoming... AMBIANCE: Spacious with a warm and cozy cafe vibe. You can hear the Chinese language being spoken amongst the staff. So I believe it's pretty authentic... KEEP IT UP CHINA CHEF!!!!

Intoxicating, mouth watering aromas from the kitchen, I am impatient and cannot wait for the dishes to arrive at my table. This is my fifth time coming here alone and with friends. I've never had an issue with the wait or the service. Everything is tip notch and I just absolutely love this restaurant. Today I ordered, the green beans and it's simply the best I've ever had. Just the right amount of salt and garlic, and what a crunch. The hot and sour soup, authentic and better than Chinatown. It's salty, spicy, vinegary, bamboo shoots was crushy too. The roasted duck was spectacular, crunchy skin and flavorful meat. Perfect seasoning. The orange chicken is a must. Crunchy and so so tasty. Every chicken pieces were crunchy and no bad pieces in this batch. This is not your panda Express orange chicken or Panda Inn, this is your Mr Chows Beverly hills orange chicken. The quality is un-matched. I don't know what these noodles are but they are crunch and delicious. I am so satisfied, and I also love the prices too, very good for this quality. I'm getting such a great deal.
