Fried Rice
Frank B.

Great music playing in the background and great service even though she was alone. The wings had a perfect crunch to them and were very good as was the rice. Not a big rice fan but this was very good. Lumpia was good as well. If you're looking for a wing Wednesday place this is worth a try. Only negative is a 3% surcharge for credit card so bring cash.

Sneak peek into their Spring Menu dropping April 11th so yummy!

I want to make this a longer review soon but for now I just want to say 5 star location and it was well earned. Service was impeccable. The ambiance has plenty of tables with red metal chairs and beautiful art work. They have two bathrooms available for guest. The food it made me say "mmm" more times than any other restaurant ever. I can't wait to go back but for now I recommend the ube horchata, Turon matcha latte, pop corn chicken, & gochu-crunch rangoons, as well as the camaron de kasama. Everything had so much flavor and was made with love you could tell. They have an exclusive spring menu coming April 11th! You must try the chicken lettuce cups and illocos tacos when you get the chance. They are known for their wings! Come now & try Chef's Kat food with your own mouth! You will not regret it! I myself will be coming back asap.

Everything from the ambiance, to the food, and service was 10/10 my absolute FAVORITE are the sinigang wings omgggg I love them extra spicy, they're just so finger licking good!! It was my first time ever trying garlic rice and wow! So fluffy and flavorful, I enjoyed it with the wings together, chefs kiss. For a drink you ABSOLUTELY need the Turon matcha!! The caramelized banana taste is life changing tbh. Definitely try all of this!!

Chicken wings and garlic fried rice.

These are probably some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. It was served over garlic, fried rice. It was spicy and sweet and tangy and very delicious. I will be back very very soon to get it again and to try some other things as well.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and I'm so glad I finally did. It's really cute inside and casual which I appreciate. We ordered lumpia shanghai and ahloo's curry noodles. Both were delicious! The young man working the front of house was really nice and helpful. We were there on a Friday night around 5pm and it was pretty busy. Lots of walk in to go orders and call in orders as well as in person diners. I'm excited to go back and try so many more things since I'm not familiar at all with Filipino or Cantonese food.

Service was so good here! Staff was incredibly friendly. The food was a solid 8/10. Loved everything we ordered but was not too impressed with the garlic shrimp. But otherwise, everything else was amazing! Thanks to the barista/cashier for the fantastic recommendation of the hojicha drink. Place was really clean and bright. 10/10 all around!

I ordered from doordash. Sizzling sisig in a bowl with lots of rice is 26 bucks The sisig was measly. The only thing I tasted was mayo. Overly spicy. So disappointed. For 26 bucks this was highway robbery. Golden Fried Chicken 32.50 bucks for 2 pieces of chicken in a bowl 32 bucks for 2 pieces of chicken and rice is also a highway robbery. Please see pics. It tasted like a normal chicken. Sinigang Fried Chicken Wings 27 bucks Sinigang wings was good I'd rate it 7/10 I can eat it again. 27 bucks I guess is okay for this. My order was late 20 mins delayed per my doordash person. I dont know If Im coming back again. Or will be ordering here again. 3 dishes for 100 bucks. I badly wanted a refund. I paid 100 bucks in green leaf chino or cerritos and we got a lot of left overs and it's like a feast. This one is overpriced.

We were greeted right away went we came in. They were nice and welcoming. Got sat down right away. They had a variety of choices. Had the loco moco, taplongsilog, and okoy. All came out great. Taste was how i remembered it from home. Just came out a little slower but the taste made up for it. The lady who was serving us was very nice! The place was clean. They had some enjoyable music in the background, not too loud so you can still have conversations. Bathrooms just need a little attention. Will come back to try thr inasal and the sinigang chicken wings!!

Sinigand wings, short ribs, walnut shrimp, garlic rice

Nice spot with a family type vibe. Service was very good but the food took a minute to come out. We got some Katsu, short rib, sinigang wings, walnut shrimp, garlic rice and pancit bihon. The Wings, short ribs and shrimp were really good!!! I'd come back for those. The garlic rice had good flavor but I'm not a fan of jasmine rice. I like my rice sticky. Still good tho. The only thing I didn't like was the pancit. I liked that there was plenty of veggies but the flavor was off for me. Overall it was good.

This is what the kamayan experience looks like. All the food is on banana leaves and we eat with our hands. So fun and delicious!

My friends and I booked the kamayan experience and it was amazing! The food and service was great. We got to meet Kat, the owner and chef, she is so great! We will definitely be back!

Okoy, House Noodles, Sinigang Wings

We were looking for a bite in the area and decided to come into Kasama. We got to meet the owner which was a nice touch. Our favorite dish we ordered was the okoy tempura fried veggies. The sinigang wings were good but overall it wasn't that memorable of a meal.

I want to first say the employees are very customer focused and kind. For that reason I will be back! I came in to check out the food because it keeps popping up to try and I love Filipino food! The restaurant was very clean when I walked in. Coming from work I just wanted to do a pickup. I wanted to try the skewers, but they were unfortunately out already. I wanted to try the fried chicken and that was also sold out. It was recommended that I try the Sinigang wings. She even asked me how long my drive home was because she wanted them fresh and crunchy for me. I also tried the pork lumpia. When I got home the food was perfectly fresh (everything is cooked fresh). The flavor was pretty good, they definitely have their own spin on Filipino food, but it was very sour for me, but still not bad. The lumpia was very crunchy, but the flavor wasn't the best for me. Maybe I don't usually get pork, so it could be my own issue. Or maybe they are just made different. I would want to go back and try something different next time, probably the items they were out of and maybe vegetable lumpia. I usually order my lumpia from a caterer so maybe it's just a different type of lumpia. I wanted to add that today the food was even better after heating in the air fryer. Usually food isn't as great as the first day, but this time I was impressed.

Pork chops, we said extra garlic n they delivered!

Came in w very LOW expectations, just googled nearest Filipino restaurant while driving on the fwy. Didn't bother to look at reviews, just craving Filipino food. We were BLOWN AWAY! This is a gem in hiding. Started w Ube Horchata drink served by the friendly n generous owner Kat, who shared their family story of cooking. Her flavors were on point starting w the drinks. She does not hold back on quality ingredients & flavors. She is not messing around & taking no shortcuts on quality & tastes. Then each dish came out...brought me back to Hawaii w a fusion of Filipino that I have never tasted before. The portions were filling, ordered 3 dishes & we even had leftovers, n were a party of 5 with 3 teenagers. Pricing was not bad at all, I was expecting my check at the end would cost more. Im just mad that it's 1 hour away from us, i want to try everything here. Figuring out how I can bring my friends n family to try their food, they are missing out on all this goodness. You can taste the passion in their cooking. We had: sinigang fried chx, kare kare katsu, pork chops---rice---more than enough for 5 of us + left overs.

It was not too loud in there and the place was relatively empty so that was nice. Biggest disappointment was service, because our table ordered chow mein and the waiter brought us chow fun (flat noodles with gravy). When we told him that we ordered chow mein, he told us that what we ordered was chow fun, so I showed him what we ordered on the menu and he said "you wanted lo mein". While I get that, he spent a minute trying to figure out where the item was and couldn't find it. I reviewed pics on here and it seems like other people got the thick yellow noodles for chow mein. Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun. Also, there is a section of the menu labeled chow mein and a separate page labeled chow fun. I think I know what we ordered. Disappointing.

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Soda selection is limited, and they do have a few adult beverages there as well. I don't drink, so I usually don't check out the drink menu. Not to make the staff seem too stereotypical, but as soon as I heard the yelling in the kitchen, with the language of the natives, I knew from the first visit, this was gonna be at the very least, a tasty meal. This visit was not a disappointing one. I ordered the potstickers, and an order of combo lo mein. Very good and very filling. And all the flavors were very authentic. I will say the service is hot and miss, but only because the language barrier is somewhat thick.
