I've been several times and every visit has been fabulous. I think the most important thing to know is this is an expert run restaurant. This is not fast food, fast casual, or some slapdash affair. Everything I've had was made with care, precision, and finesse. I'm over joyed to trade any concessions of speed for the flavors, textures, and balances I've enjoyed again and again. The staff has always been divinely friendly and I love seeing a family owned spot where they make site top take care of themselves and take time off. But the food and drinks are beyond compare. I'm not an expert in Filipino cuisine, but I do know that the food at this restaurant was delicious. GWe went with a crowd of 10, so basically had the chance to order most of the menu, and not one thing was mediocre. Our favorites were the house special wings (& I'm not a wings person!), chicken katsu, curry noodles, and salmon Sinigang. But the green beans were also delightful. Kat, who I believe is the owner and chef, was so kind and friendly! Their only drawbacks were that they have no liquor license and you can't bring your own (despite the liquor store across the street), and that they close at 8pm on Saturday night. We had originally chosen this place as a quick stop on our way to Coachella since we saw some festival specials they had going on. However, the staff seemed a bit confused when I ordered off that menu. A second staff member then came out and informed us the festival specials were for Sunday and Monday for those leaving the festival...even though their website clearly says Thursday - Saturday. Not a huge deal and we ended up just ordering off their regular menu, but I feel like if you're going to specifically advertise festival specials, then they should be available on the advertised dates and the staff should be educated. It was pretty disappointing because I specifically came for something on the festival fuel menu. Later when we were waiting for our food, we overheard another customer complaining because they were charged more than what the menu prices stated. It seems they were going to be transitioning to a new menu soon, but the implementation and rollout was just not great.  SINIGANG FRIED CHICKEN WINGS: We really wanted some chicken wings to share and it looks like these are one of their specials, so of course we had to order them! The individual wings were a bit small but each bite was packed with a ton of flavor.  CRAB RANGOONS: Perfectly fried; I finished the whole bag while we were still in the car! SISIG PLATE: Decent flavor and texture but nothing amazing. Be aware some bites may be extra spicy because of the jalapenos! I thought it was interesting that they provided fish sauce on the side, maybe from their Chinese fusion side? My friend ordered one of the Chinese 2 item entree plates and was not as enthused about her food, noting that the portion sizes were small and the taste wasn't that great.  Overall, a decent option to stop by for a meal, but I think it can be hit or miss depending on what you order. I want to make this a longer review soon but for now I just want to say 5 star location and it was well earned. Service was impeccable. The ambiance has plenty of tables with red metal chairs and beautiful art work. They have two bathrooms available for guest. The food it made me say "mmm" more times than any other restaurant ever. I can't wait to go back but for now I recommend the ube horchata, Turon matcha latte, pop corn chicken, & gochu-crunch rangoons, as well as the camaron de kasama. Everything had so much flavor and was made with love you could tell. They have an exclusive spring menu coming April 11th! I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and I'm so glad I finally did. It's really cute inside and casual which I appreciate. We ordered lumpia shanghai and ahloo's curry noodles. The only reason why I am giving them a 3 star is because the other times we have gone to eat there, the food and customized drinks were good. But the customer service sucked everytime!! Tonight we tried to go eat and the girl behind the counter said she couldn't seat us because the wait was 20 minutes, I said okay we can wait but can we sit at this table and she says no. I asked her if it was reserved and she says no it's not but since there are only two cooks, the wait for food will be awhile and she hasn't taken the orders of two other tables. So what are you doing to where you have customers waiting is what I am thinking because when we walked in, her and the other person there were standing behind the counter. I didn't understand why we couldn't sit and wait and wasn't going to waste my time arguing so we went somewhere else. No food is good enough to wait forever for especially being told we couldn't have a sit and wait because of whatever bs explanation she gave me. Not sure we will be back but who knows....maybe it was one of those days. Update and response to owner: The tables were "reset" and ready for seating. The waitress stated we couldn't sit because there were only two cooks and pretty much all orders were behind 20 minutes. She still didn't take the orders of two other tables and even though I told her we were okay with the wait, she said she still couldn't seat us. In addition to that, besides it being a holiday weekend, I've stated that other times we've had to wait even during the middle of the week. The restaurant was very clean when I walked in. Coming from work I just wanted to do a pickup. I wanted to try the skewers, but they were unfortunately out already. I wanted to try the fried chicken and that was also sold out. It was recommended that I try the Sinigang wings. She even asked me how long my drive home was because she wanted them fresh and crunchy for me. I also tried the pork lumpia. When I got home the food was perfectly fresh (everything is cooked fresh). The flavor was pretty good, they definitely have their own spin on Filipino food, but it was very sour for me, but still not bad. The lumpia was very crunchy, but the flavor wasn't the best for me. Maybe I don't usually get pork, so it could be my own issue. Or maybe they are just made different. I would want to go back and try something different next time, probably the items they were out of and maybe vegetable lumpia. I usually order my lumpia from a caterer so maybe it's just a different type of lumpia. I wanted to add that today the food was even better after heating in the air fryer. Today was our first time here and we really just wanted a warm bowl of soup for this chilly night. But not only did we both get a bowl of soup me the egg drop, husband the hot & sour we also ordered the steamed wontons and lumpia (sorry no pictures we ate it to fast). The soups and the appetizers were both very fresh and tasty. I really loved the wontons & the lumpia's were made to order, so delightful and crispy. The young man in the front of the house was very friendly and helpful. The owner Kat was very nice she came to our table and had a conversation with us, she shared her passion with the restaurant and how much it means to her to be part of our community. HORRIBLE SERVICE! We walked in and sat down mind you it was only 3 of us. The redhead girl at the register she was young avoided taking our order and went to everyone else but us! We eventually got up and went to the register to order and she walked away on her phone. Then we asked again if we could place a order and she said "huh, I cant hear you" we again asked can we order and the girl goes "ew why do you have attitude" she yelled as she said this. At this point we were over it and walked out. So disappointed, we live in town and heard nothing but good things and experienced this type of treatment. This is a pleasantly delicious gem. It was busy on a Thursday evening around 7pm. The service was friendly. I they were a little understaffed and the waitress told us that. She was very polite. The ambiance has a very friendly atmosphere. I ordered the tofu sisig and my friends ordered the breakfast burrito w/ fried tofu, loco moco, and a beef dish (Mongolian beef I think). I liked the tofu sisig. I think they use chicken liver paste but they have a vegetarian alternative. The portion was a little small for what you pay. I thought that the rice that comes with it was a little too dry. I'm glad there's a Filipino restaurant in town. Will give this place another shot. read more

This is a new restaurant for Beaumont that we decided to try and I'm glad that we did. The shop is very small, but very clean. Henry, who took care of us is the waiter, cashier, chef and a very, attentive, and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The egg soup was probably one of the best I've had. The lumpia was not greasy. It came to us warm as did the cream cheese wontons. I've never had Loco Moco before and I very much enjoyed this, a lot of garlic. A lot of good with great prices. When you leave a 5 star review yelp asks you "what went well?"... honestly the entire experience was amazing. When we walked in we were warmly welcomed by the staff and they took the time to explain the dishes and what to expect. We ordered 4 items and were blown away with all of our choices. First was the steamed wontons with a crunch chili garlic sauce which had a slight heat but huge pop of flavor. Garlic rice as an add on to our main dishes, this the best garlic rice I have ever had, perfectly cooked and a nice mild but very present flavor. My wife ordered the surf and turf and I will come back just to order that for myself, the ribs and shrimp were both perfectly cooked. I ordered the Beijing Beef which was extremely tender, flavorful and a very generous portion. Ambiance was great as well with a good mix of music in the background and a very warm feeling to the restaurant with the decor and furniture. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but one thing landed it firmly on my "maybe" list for the future. On my first (and likely last) visit, I kept it simple--lumpia and pancit. I wanted some classic Filipino comfort food. I walked in, placed my order, and waited... and waited... and waited. With only a few guests dining in, I figured it wouldn't take long. But after about 20+ minutes, I overheard something from the kitchen that made my jaw drop: "To-go orders can wait, dine-in comes first." Unfortunately, mine was the only to-go order. As new guests came in, my ticket kept getting bumped back. By the time I finally got my food, I had been waiting close to 45 minutes--for lumpia and pancit. The food itself? Average.
