I ordered drunken noodles with beef and for some reason the cook decided to use pad thai noodles rather than the traditional flat wide rice noodle. On top of that, the sauce was way too salty. The dish ended up terrible. I also had crab fried rice. It was virtually flavorless and used flake meat from the crab body. Yes, the flavorless cheap parts from the crab's body cavity. Again, this was a disappointment. The server and hostess were both really nice. No complaints there. Both were the best part of my dining experience. The restaurant is nice and clean. The seats are somewhat uncomfortable, but look nice with the rest of the decor. I sat at a table in the dining room and not out front on the higher stool seats. I may or may not try mozen again. I wouldn't say it's the most traditional (granted, it doesn't claim to be), but overall, it was decent. The Combo Fried Rice and Sticky Ribs took center stage, followed by the Poke Nachos. The Shrimp Wonton Soup fell a bit short, with some of the noodles bundled together, causing parts of it to be undercooked. This is a review of the bar dining, rather than the full restaurant. Surprisingly fantastic orange chicken! The lo mein and drinks were also good. Highly recommend having morongo rewards and the morongo app, as they granted us 20% off. Service wasn't great, but I attribute that to being towards the very end of the night. Sticky BBQ pork rib - it's really a Thai dish but excellently executed, grilled over charcoal and brushed with tangy honey bbq sauce, it's fall-off-the-bone tender and a must-get appetizer/bar bite. Shrimp fried rice - one of the best versions I've had, and that includes Din Tai Fung. It's packed with jumbo prawns and the fried rice was wokked to perfection, so full of umami and flavor. As part of staying at the Morongo Hotel casino, they gave me a free appetizer at Mozen Asian Kitchen . The gentleman who seats us is very accommodating. The service behind the bar and wait staff is extremely slow. maybe they didn't have enough help on, but the bartender was really slow and the gentleman next to me who was only having drinks was getting fed up and decrease the amount of her tip and was complaining about her. I always get the $21 beef pho. It comes with bone marrow! You can't get that kinda price in LA. And even my fiancée who doesn't love pho likes it! The noodles can be a little over cooked which is my only complaint but other than that, amazing! Rich meaty broth, and comes with all the fixings- bean sprouts, mint, onion, cilantro. Kimchi fried rice was bomb too! (Off the secret menu ) I've also had the lettuce wraps which was good. And the Korean chicken wings which were just okay. Prices are not too bad because the portions are actually large! Service can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Seated along the railing facing the casino floor, we had plenty of entertainment with nonstop people-watching and a great view of the lively atmosphere. While clearly commercially made, they still hit the spot. The vegetables inside were crisp and fresh-tasting, and the wrapper was thin, giving a good balance between stuffing and dough. The dipping sauce was slightly sweet but not bland--flavorful enough to round out each bite. Next up were the Asian Sticky Ribs. These came out hot, tender, and generously sauced. The glaze was very sweet--bordering on dessert-level sweetness--but still rich enough to make each bite satisfying. Mozen Asian Kitchen is located inside the Casino Morongo Resort & Spa near the Oasis Pool. Passing by, I already knew I wanted to eat here because of the decor. We were a party of 6 and were seated quickly. We ordered enough for a family style dinner. Here's what we had: * Kalbi Short Ribs - This was delicious and incredibly flavorful. It tasted much better than the Kalbi (Galbi) we recently had at Dubu in Eastvale. It came with a side of kimchi - the kimchi was too fermented for my liking, as I prefer a fresher batch. * Garlic Green Beans - Delicious. The green beans were cooked perfectly where it still had the 'snap' and not overly cooked. I loved the pieces of garlic and whatever sauce they used to make this. * Yuzu Calamari - This was good. I liked the yuzu cream but I would have preferred it on the side. One side of the calamari was overly dressed while the opposite side had no dressing. * Combo Fried Rice - Really good. The rice came in a bowl shape and was tightly packed so there was plenty of rice. I prefer this type because I don't like the rice being dry and separate; I prefer my rice in 'clumps' - it's better than it sounds lol. * Chicken Pot Stickers - While I was too full to try this, everyone at the table loved this. They said that the sauce was a sesame oil base and was really good. * Jasmine Green Tea - As soon as our server brought this out, I immediately recognized the tea pot and tea from Tea Forte. While I prefer loose leaf tea, this wasn't bad. It's a trusted brand and the Jasmine Green was a solid choice. We also had some Shirley Temples for our table. The service was a little slower than we liked but the staff were all nice. I'm sure it was just a busy night. Our appetizers (potstickers and calamari) came out last. The ambiance is nice because it's away from the casino floor. And the interior is just beautiful. Loved the navy blue, browns and touches of ivory. The tables were a little low. If you're tall and have a longer torso, it'll be weird eating. The seats were comfortable though. Overall, I really enjoyed it here. The food was actually good if you order the right stuff - don't just go for plain Beef & Broccoli (lol). Their Kalbi is the best menu item we had. One of the best if not the best Asian restaurant inside a casino in Southern California. Menu selections featuring food from China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Korea are not extensive but whatever you choose from appetizers to desserts are delicious and satisfying. Here are a few of the dishes we ordered:Salt & Pepper shrimp, Spicy Basil Chicken, and Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish. All are very tasty with a beautiful balance of flavors. What is exceptional though is their crab fried rice. This is the best Asian crab fried rice we've ever tasted because they use jumbo lump crabmeat. No other restaurant we've ever ordered crabmeat fried rice from, served this meaty, fresh tasting and oh so delectable dish. Most used canned crabmeat and were very skimpy in portions. Even a Michelin star restaurant's crab fried rice doesn't compare to Mozen's. It was so good that we ordered it again the next time we had dinner there. read more

The mixed drinks were good, but unfortunately, the service and wait for the food were very disappointing. We waited about 45 minutes and never even received our appetizer, let alone our meals. We finished our drinks and ultimately decided to leave because we still had no food and were given no explanation as to why it was taking so long. What made the experience even more frustrating was watching people who were seated and ordered after us receive their food before we received anything. We were pleasantly surprised because the food was really really good. I love Tom Ka soup, and the server told me to make sure that it was something. I really liked because a lot of people don't eat it. I looked for pictures of it on yelp, and no one had a picture of it. When it arrived it definitely didn't look like my regular. After driving in from Los Angeles, it was a pleasure to find a decent place to eat inside the casino. Very pleasant interior with high ceilings and service was very friendly and professional. Accidentally walked in through the bar instead of restaurant front area but the hosts made a joke and we were given a choice of tables. Waitress checked on table at least 3 times, busser refilled water, and manager greeted us. Started with the steamed shrimp dumplings. Nice plump shrimp filling but the wrapper was a bit thick and the sauce at the bottom didn't enhance the flavor. I asked for some hot sauce and the Sriracha like choice helped. Got beef chow fun which was generously served, but the beef was tough and it had no wok hey. The hot sauce helped this dish too. The garlic green beans were very nicely done with fried garlic and chili crisp, with a bit of sweetness in the sauce. Again a very generous serving. Prices were reasonable for all three dishes the total was $60 including 20% tip. Would go back and try some of their other dishes like the soups or fried rice. read more

My fiancé Bertha and I went there on a Saturday afternoon to chill over some food and drinks and to also catch the 2025 Wold Series (GO DODGERS!) and we had the most amazing time. Not only was the place packed with Dodger fans (and one Toronto fan) but in all the craziness going on there was two individuals working the bar and the tables there that made the whole experience amazing. The first one was Karena, this person is AMAZING and really knows how to treat her guests. She is very attentive and knowledgeable of what she can offer you and has recommendations to what they offer to eat. Even though the place was packed she always made it a point to stop by and make sure we had what we wanted or if we needed anything else. She is so friendly and engaging with you. And when she wasn't around there was always Valerie, her and Karena are usually working together and make a great team. Even though she wasn't our server she often would stop by if Karena was busy and ask if we needed anything. I have seen this place go through bartenders in the past and I have to say that this team works just like the Dodgers did this year and WIN!!! The food was great we usually get the spicy garlic edamame with extra sauce! The fried mushrooms are a hit as well. The drinks were nice and strong, the only thing I would recommend is for them to have blenders there at the bar so they could offer blended drinks too. In closing we enjoy coming to Mozen all the time. We love the upbeat atmosphere at the bar and if we want more quiet we would get a table inside the restaurant. YUM! Stopped by when we first got to Morongo Casino. Greeted and sat by Samantha who was super informative with our questions and very sweet! Our waitress/server was Karena and she was the best as well. I was not sure what to order and was stuck between 2 dishes and she helped me choose and was not wrong! We got the Drunken Noodles with Chicken (background plate) & Pad Thai which comes with Chicken and Shrimp (forefront of photo & my plate). Large portions and delicious!! I wasn't even done and I already wanted more haha. We had leftovers which was nice because I am excited for lunch tomorrow now. Cozy little environment too. We sat on the outside bar section (but it's still enclosed so it's separated from the casino), but you can also choose to sit inside so it's more of a restaurant vibe. There is also a section where you can walk up and order and it's always packed to go for you which is a great option too! Maybe I should let the pictures do the talking. I ordered beef pho. What I actually got was a lot of broth, some noodles, and a disgusting conglomeration of WTH IS THAT!? I started off with the broth because I was cold. I drank quite a bit of it and then I had some noodles. I took my first bite of what they call "beef "and instantly spit it out. I started examining all of the pieces of "beef". I have absolutely no idea what kind of "beef "this is, but there were massive amounts of fat, cartilage, and even something that looked like little eyeballs, no joke. I took it to the cashier and showed it to her. I asked her if she would eat it and she said no. She called the manager, I asked her if she would eat it and she said no. They offered to get me a new bowl to which I said no thank you. And they offered to bring the "chef "out to speak with me.
