This review is coming from my second visit at Jet's, and it's important to mention why. The first time I came here I ordered 2 pizzas and I was given one wrong pizza, waited 30+ minutes for it to be remade, in the meantime given a refund and a free dessert. They were kind about it and those did ease the experience in my mind. I'm not one to hold grudges, but I didn't forget. This time I came with a friend and we ordered 2 large Detroit pizzas, cinnamon stix, an 8-piece wing and Jet's sticks. My friend picked up the food and brought it to our place, thankfully only a few minutes up the road, because our veggie pizza was missing again. He went back to retrieve it where it was said that they hadn't made it in the first place. To make up for it, we received a free water, more mozzarella sticks and some free side sauces. I hate to give this place a bad rep, but my 2 experiences here my veggie pizza was forgotten! On the food side, I love their deep dish pizzas and breadsticks! Their cinnamon stix remind me of the Wetzels Pretzels inside of mallsbut for a better deal. I will go again, just know that you might have to wait around for a minute if you don't check your order!

Soooooo if you are from Cleveland & know Geraci's pizza this is closest thing. I have literally tried dozens of pizza places here not liking one. Pizza is so personal. There is no right or wrong. But this one is a right. BUT ..., They are very skimpy on their pepperoni & toppings which you pay extra. Wouid rather have them charge more for decent amount of toppings. Last time they even cut pepperoni in half. Not cool. I was not going to try it again because of that. But I did. MONTHS later. Other than that great pizza. This a four corner one. Hope owner is reading this. Heads up !!

Really great hidden gem. Amazing Detroit style pizza joint hidden away off N. Tatum Blvd. Really friendly and professional service. The ambience of this tiny little pizza place is quaint yet clean. I got a large Detroit style pizza with black olives, red onions, and Italian sausage absolutely delicious extremely crunchy savory crust. The toppings they use are fresh and delicious, big chunks of Italian sausage and plenty of black olives and red onions. I also ordered their Jets Wings with their sweet red chili sauce which was delicious. A mixture of savory and sweet and spice, but not overly hot. I will definitely be returning here again. This place is certainly a five out of five and a hidden gem within the city.

This place is FANTASTIC. I don't think I've ever had a pizza that was so scrumptious! When we arrived, the staff was super kind and tailored to our needs. They made the pizza FRESH and ON THE SPOT. Let me tell you, it came out piping hot and so fresh cheesy. The crust astonished me! It was perfectly crusty and that worked amazing with the softness of the pizza itself. The location is also so cutesy. You walk in here and you can tell this place packs and great punch! I 1000% enjoyed and would come here again and again. So if you're craving pizza, I definitely recommend stopping by! You won't regret it!

Always the best pizza with lots of cheese and the best sauce. And so crispy, even the next day in the air fryer!! Their Detroit style is my favorite!! Thick, square, chewy and crispy edges!! Just a take out location on Tatum.

We get Jet's pizza at our work every so often and I have to say it is a pretty stellar experience! The pizza is always on top quality and the ingredients seem to be so fresh. They are on time and they deliver all types of pizzas to the office and never seem to miss. Great food and pizza from Jet's! I am excited to get it again.

Some of the best GF pizza I have ever had! So fluffy... couldn't believe it was gf the first time I tried. Love their "bold" pepperoni. Got full off one piece of the pizza and got the deep dish bread to share... plenty of leftovers. Delicious!

1 slice of pepperoni to go!

Amazing, unique experience!…read more I arrived with the preconceived ideas about being jostled in long lines in a poorly cooled pizza joint, sitting in a crowded restaurant at plastic tables eating plastic food. That misconception disappeared immediately upon stepping through the doorway. Warm, inviting ambiance, full of character. Attending the birthday celebration for an esteemed young man, our table wasn't ready (we were early) and the hostess offered us seats at the bar while awaiting our party. We each had a wine spritzer... may I say that the very few such concoctions I've had bearing that name didn't do justice to what we were served. I've never had anything like this, a "Sgroppino" (I'm partial to strawberry!) and it was perhaps the best adult beverage I've had in a very long time. Many different nuances in a glass. Stunning subtle, many diverse flavors. Mmm. Our bartender was an artist of the mixed adult beverage, a delightful individual with a warm, genuine smile and an encyclopedic knowledge of how to do his job expertly. Rare that you meet someone like this who isn't all measuring cups and shot glasses: everything he concocted was done by eye, and judging by what he made for us, his expertise was immediately apparent. Ben fatto. È andata benissimo, brava. When we'd all arrived, we were escorted to the "garden shed"... a smaller out-building filled with racks of wine, perhaps an ideal place for small wedding receptions or engagement parties. Well-cooled despite our broiling Phoenix evening. We had the garlic bread; someone ordered IL Tagliere, Calamari (no, thank you), and a basket of bread. You know how you go to a hamburger joint and what you're served looks nothing like the photos of their menu? Go to CiBO's web site and look at their menu: What you see in their photos is what you get. One visit and next time you look at their menu online, you'll salivate. Yes, the food is that good. I ordered the calzone. Delicious. Getting through it wasn't pretty... but it was excellent. Huge, very generous entree. Excellent flavors. Our server was delightful, attentive without being a nuisance. Our water glasses never reached empty, and the stories about the birthday boy (and others) were never interrupted. We never made it to desserts. Too much food and amusing stories. CiBO: È andata benissimo, brava.

We ordered a couple of sodas and the same slices we ordered last time, pepperoni and vodka slices. The slices were delivered in no time! They were hot and crispy! I don't know what happened, but the quality just wasn't there. I could not taste the sauce on my pizza. It was non existent. It was like eating pizza bread with cheese and pepperoni. The Vodka pizza had no detectable sauce on it either. It also tasted just like cheese bread. I don't know if its because of different pizza makers or the new standard, but I was disappointed. I was very impressed last visit and even made a statement that the Vodka slice may be my new favorite. I was a little let down this time around!

You can also get a whole pie of your choice. They grate fresh parm on all the slices which I thought was a nice touch. The girl at the register seemed very knowledgeable about all the pizzas and gave us lots of details and recommendations which we appreciated. First we got the green, di Parma, and the Phoenix. The green has pistachios and fresh arugula on it, I thought the overall flavor was too sweet and the pistachios weren't crush enough. The Phoenix was good, very honey forward and overall the flavor didn't stick out to me. The di Parma was a cheese pizza with procuttio and ricotta, overall a little plain to me. I think they all would've tasted better hot, but I understand that's not super realistic for a slice shop. For our second order we got the vodka sauce slice, which was for sure my favorite. First of all it was piping hot, and that elevated the whole experience. I thought the sauce was so flavorful and savory, and the basil made a perfect bite. I would go back for a whole pie of this! I really liked the prices here, we got dinner for less than $25 for 2. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some other slices and get a pie of the vodka!

I won't add to my previous review regarding the food, as it is still just as fantastic. And while the old location had its charm (mainly that it was more intimate and a bit quieter), the new location is overall an immense improvement. First of all, it is much larger, modern, and very tastefully decorated without losing as much of the intimacy as they could keep. For instance, the decor on the walls makes you feel like you are somewhat at home, with photos of the Spinato family and other tasteful finishes. Everything is comfortable without being too casual or formal. It's definitely more open concept now, and bar-lovers will appreciate the full bar, as the old location only had a tiny one. The covered patio area is much nicer, and with an eastern exposure, it should bake in the sun less than the old place's western exposure for most of their operating hours. We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. Our server recognized us, welcomed us to the new place, and was as friendly as usual, though he didn't have much time for chat-chat with how busy they were. Very much looking forward to more visits to Spinato's at this fabulous new location!

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.
