I was looking forward to trying this place, but will not return. During my visit it was 95 degrees outside, and the restaurant had two sliding glass doors, as well as the main entry door wide open. It was miserably hot in the restaurant. We nicely asked the waitress if she could close the doors, to which she replied she "could only close it a little bit." Still never got an answer on why they wanted the restaurant to feel like a sauna. Not a big fan of the self service (either order by QR code or order at the counter). It's typically okay, except at one point nobody was there to take our order, and it was clear they don't even run your food half the time. (Our waters were left sitting at the counter even though we were seated just steps away from them). Food wasn't great, either. There are too many other great spots in the area to want to deal with Industry again. read more

4.75 stars. Dropped in for lunch, curious about the slightly mixed reviews. I feel badly that others had a negative service experience here; I did not. My order was taken with less than a minute's wait, and I also learned it's Whiskey Wednesday: $5 George Nickel, any way you want it. What I *really* wanted was a taco sampler of brisket, pork and smoked chicken. Denied! All or nothing. So I chose the beef, paid (it is a fair price) and waited outside. My drink came in about three minutes and about two minutes later, taco time. The (wheat) tortillas aren't made in house, but they tasted as if they were. Perfect texture, soft and just chewy enough. The beef was tender, but not strongly flavored. The cilantro was very muted, though I know that's a controversial herb for some. The crema and especially the pickled onions brought it all to life. I'll be back, hoping that the menu will include a sampler, and maybe the brisket gets punched up a bit. Overall, plenty of space, great location, relaxed and dog-friendly crowd, and winning drink prices. read more

In the past I have enjoyed this establishment. That has changed. I had been there to meet my family for dinner. One of them is hearing impaired. I had asked the manager to lower the volume on the TV', which was a concert level. I love loud music but wanted to make sure that the person who was hearing impaired could be comfortable. I was told by the manager he could not put the volume down due to a Yankees game. No effort was made to turn down the volume. If you plan to dine here and have a disability you may want to choose another place. read more

Main cause for the low review is that they have a 20% auto gratuity on all tabs which I don't appreciate when I am walking up to the bar, ordering, and walking my drink back to my table. read more

Food service was slow and once we did finally receive our food it was cold/warm, not hot as if it was waiting to be brought out by their staff. Industry is a great place usually, amazing food (especially their heavenly brussel sprouts) but I went today and had such a bad experience. I am not a review type of person but today was a bit much. I guess they were having a social media event going on that was much more important than their customers . They were only focused on taking pictures and videos. I entered to inquire about seating and could not find any employees to help me (they were being filmed serving food from the window and looked at me and ignored me). Just before giving up and leaving, a nice person behind the bar came out and helped me out finally. Took a long while for anyone to offer any type of drink when I was at the table. This place is a great neighborhood hang out and grub spot. My wife and I live at Residences at Saltillo and drop by Industry from time to time. Andres is super friendly and makes sure you're taken care of. The food itself is very solid (get the blackened catfish, trust me), prices are reasonable, and there's usually enough for leftovers. They are also on InKind which is an added bonus and makes the price even more compelling! read more

We were starving for lunch and I'm glad I stopped here! My only disappointment was in my service while ordering. Somehow everything I ordered was out of stock - which would be fine normally except my friend who ordered before me was able to order the same things I wanted? Maybe he got the last one - not sure it just seemed odd. I had a glass of Chardonnay which was good, but the star of the show were the Chicken Tacos. I got 3 street tacos in the order and they were moist and flavorful. I couldn't get enough of them, I almost wanted to order more! Came here before our flight back home for Sunday brunch and it's a great spot with plenty of seating. I got the chilaquiles which were solid. Flavorful and the portion was pretty big. However, I had a bite of my friends fish and chips and also pecan pancake and wish I had gone with either of those. The fish and chips were really good. It was crunchy, hot, and very fresh tasting. The pancakes were perfectly sweet. Service was solid too, they took our orders and food came within 20 mins. Family friendly vibe, with football games in the background. Came here for UFC 289 and loved it! We expected it to be packed like SABG but it was quite empty! I'm guessing it's pretty new and not a lot of people know that they're showing the fight. We got here an hour early to grab a table for the group and ordered food and drinks. The burger I had was quite delicious and their frozen drinks were pretty damn boozy. There were also an abundance of street parking available so it was quite convenient for our group. Overall, great service, good food, good drinks and great location for watching the UFC fight.
