As a cyclist, this spot is my home away from home. It's where I grab a quick coffee before an early morning group ride, or where I grab a drink/dinner after enjoying an evening riding with my friends. The space is wonderful, with an expansive outdoor patio and lots of indoor seating as well. The staff is super friendly and hard working, cranking out espressos in record time. I've always enjoyed grabbing light snacks here like the focaccia, but also love the dinner options and drinks. The only thing that isn't great is the coffee itself. When I need to get out of my prison cell of what I call my home office, this is the first place I turn to. I live on the south side of town, so the drive on 35 is no fret, as most locals are aware of. That said, their award winning cookie and a nice flat white always do the trick to a pick-me-up. The service is lovely, warm, and so helpful, and the back patio is just fantastic. They have a parking lot (a pain to get into honestly because the driveway is 45 degrees), but there is plenty of street parking right across from the cafe. I was here Monday night, 01/19, between 7pm and 7:40pm and while I was washing my hands at the bathroom sinks a man came out of one of the bathroom stalls, ran his hands under the other faucet for legitimately not even one full "Mississippi" (no soap or anything), dried his hands on his clothes then walked out. He told me to use the card associated with my account which everyone knows is how it works. I just didn't recall which card it was. The app gave me a QR code and he didn't even bother trying to use it or to ask for help. He just told me to use the associated card and didn't care when I said I can't recall which card that is. I told him I was gonna order online like most restaurants allow via Toast. The ambience was great, extremely welcoming and clean. No wait whatsoever and the food was excellent. Although we did miss breakfast, lunch was great. Burgers, Wings, Iced tea, iced coffee and cookies were all fantastic. The service was truly the best you could ask for as well. Restrooms were clean. Wow wow wow. We were only in town for 2 days and so glad we chose this place to have a late lunch! We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area. This place is super cozy, to grab a bite with your fam and also work on your laptop or journal. I got a 16" plain Jane pizza but there was nothing plain about it! The crust was bubbly and perfectly charred, it had a crisp edge but the top was soft and had a nice chew to it. What got my attention was the sauce, I'm not sure what's in it but has a teeny bit of heat that was amazing. The cheese was stringy when hot and made it very fun to take it off the tray. Personally, I liked eating off the little rectangular trays they give you (grew up eating pizza off of the white paper plates). Perfect for eating pizza with your hands or if you switched half way to use fork/knife. We also got the chicken shawarma dish and boy it looked amazing. I didn't get to try it because the person who ordered it scarfed it down so quickly. But from the looks of it, I'm guessing it was on point with flavor. The fruit bowl is huge and filling, if you want to make it a yogurt bowl you can request them to add greek yogurt. Perfect place to catch some calm on SOCO. The food and drink here is great but it is the atmosphere that really sets them apart. I love that they often have fresh flowers on the table, don't know why but just makes it feel intentional and special. I love their coffee and every latte I have had was delicious. I adore this spot! It's right on SOCO, a few blocks down from the full chaos of the main area. Beautiful quirky building with its on parking lot which if you have ever attempted to park anywhere near SOCO you know this is ideal. We stopped in for some drinks before heading down to SEU for a basketball game. Order at the counter for a place that is a mix of coffee shop, pizza place, sandwich shop, wine bar, grocery store. I fell in love immediately! If I had listed all my favorite things, this place would have checked off my list like Santa. The wine was excellent. The ambience is spot on and so relaxing. I have to say, this is quite possibly the cutest spot on Congress. Ok, there's a ton of cute spots but this one is worthy of being on top of that list. The welcoming vibe from the baristas, the lighting and just the overall environment. We came just for the masala chai latte which was actually really, really good. A little too sweet to my liking but my girlfriend loved the flavor. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu because the aroma from the coffee beans was very powerful and I was craving a cup as soon as I stepped out of my car.
