Brunch Brunch Baby ended up being one of those spots that just makes you smile as soon as you walk up. The couple who owns it has the cutest story, and knowing that ahead of time made the whole experience feel even more personal. You can tell they've put a lot of heart into what they're doing. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful when we were deciding what to order. We ended up getting the Rye's & Shine sandwich and the Green Belt burrito. Both were really good. Seemingly fresh ingredients, hearty portions, and everything felt thoughtfully put together. The burrito was my favorite because the flavors were more balanced, while the avocado kind of took over the Rye's & Shine for me. Still tasty, just heavier on the avo than I expected. It's a fun, laid-back spot with great service and food that hits the spot without trying too hard. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Austin.

Great breakfast sandwiches! We live nearby and my run club starts and ends here on Saturdays. After seeing friends get these huge breakfast sandwiches after our 5k I was inspired to try one. The lady bird is my fav! It has avocado, Scrambled Eggs, Tomato, Mushrooms, Mozzarella, Gruyère, Everything Seasoning & Sundried Tomato Aioli on an English Muffin. It is served open face because each side is really stacked with toppings. The sandwich is $9.99 and is really filling. Nice people and hot, fresh breakfast. 5 stars! Note- this is a food truck and there are picnic tables outside. There are no real restrooms - just a portapotty. You can park in the garage at the amli apartments.

Delicious! Tried the Lady Bird sandwich and loved it, perfect texture of eggs for me and just ooey goodness w the melted cheese avocado and mushrooms. Service was friendly. Sis had a sandwich and enjoyed it as well. Food truck lot outside the park, super casual and seems like a popular spot for folks after walking around the lake etc. Def should be on the list when in ATX!

What a great spot. The food was absolutely delicious and service was friendly. Plenty of seating available as it's a food truck park as long as you like being outside. And since it's outdoors, it is dog friendly area as well.

Austin really knows how to do food! This little food truck packs a mighty punch. While in Austin for work I was craving a good breakfast and came across this food truck while searching Yelp. Turns out they live up to the hype. Service was extremely friendly & prompt and food came out quick. I went with the Rye's and Shine breakfast sandwich which features scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, and avocado on marbled rye toast. Everything tasted sooo fresh & you can tell they most definitely source their ingredients locally. It was also a very generous portion in my opinion as I was only able to finish one half at first. The food truck is located in a nice park area near a running trail. I love that although it's a food truck there is a nice seating area where you can enjoy your breakfast.

This is a great place to snack post a walk around lady bird lake. I got the lady bird which was an English muffin w eggs, avo, mushroom and cherry tomatoes and it was to die for. So filling and delicious. We had a little bit of a like at 12pm on a Sunday but it didn't take all too long. They've got seating as well and we were able to get spots for our group of 8. Plus it's near coffee food trucks so you've got everything you need. Chill ambiance and a nice place to hang on a weekend morning.

Me and a friend stopped here after doing a 10 mile walk on the trail and this raspberry beret smoothie hit the spot when we were done. The smoothie tasted so fresh and was a perfect level of sweet and tart. I would definitely recommend anyone stop here for a little bite to eat or a smoothie if you're walking on the trail. The service here was great, employees were super nice and there was lots of good seating. Will definitely be back!

Country Burrito is super yummy!!! You can order ahead and there are other food trucks nearby that are amazing as well!

This is a great outdoor eatery, food os great and the ambiance chic, very dog friendly and location can't be better. Service is good too

    Madame
    Carrie M.

This is a very cute brunch food truck with a small menu, friendly staff, and plenty of picnic tables. I had the Madame, which is a loaded breakfast sandwich. I really enjoyed it, and the sweet maple syrup complemented the savoury flavours well. However, the sandwich was quite small for $9.20, as I went home afterwards and ate half of a Chipotle chicken burrito, a quarter of a huge papaya, a cookie, and half a jar of Trader Joe's peach halves (disclaimer: I am not obese). This is a good portion size for small people or if you want to restrict calories. My friends enjoyed their buttermilk pancakes, sandwiches, and smoothies. There was no wait when we came here on a Saturday morning, but the line got long later on. It was off putting seeing multiple dogs sitting on top of the tables, which doesn't seem sanitary.

Unfortunately, the kitchen just wasn't on their game this day. We went for brunch and it is a lovely restaurant with some amazing looking pastries. My ratings of the food we got are below. Overall, everything was just okay and not something I would order again. Our order: Salami and cheese - 1/10, not even edible with how much olive oil they dumped on it. Hard cheese and meat. None of us touched it. Frites - 9/10, hard to go wrong here. Nice and crispy French cruller - 7/10, I think this is just personal presence here I wished it was warmed up. Flavor was good but it was a little dry. Burger - 5/10, the flavor is there and definitely has potential but it was so bloody and rare which is not what we asked for. My friend has a gluten allergy and she asked for the burger lettuce wrapped and it just came on top of a huge chunk of iceberg so wouldn't recommend that if you want it lettuce wrapped. Chicken sandwich - 8/10, this was good with a nice crispy chicken. It could have used something sweet to balance the spice though it was a little one dimensional.

We were both starving and this place is open 24/7. I drove by it for 20 years on the way to Avenue Barber Shop. I wanted shredded beef tacos but couldn't get them without cilantro so I chose shredded beef enchiladas (with an $8!) side of chips and salsa. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. She requested soft eggs, as she always does because too many places overcook them. The chips and salsa arrived. I was immediately disappointed. The menu said "we make our own chips." They were thick and yellow and appeared to be run-of-the-mill, out-of-a-bag chips. I prefer the thin white ones. I took one bite of salsa, and that was one bite too many. Cumin. I pushed it all aside. Cumin doesn't belong in salsa. (Sorry. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.) My enchiladas came with black beans, and there was cumin in them. Cumin is overused and abused in most restaurants. I couldn't eat them. The rice was good but the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was not. I scraped most of the sauce off and ate one enchilada, mainly because I just needed something in my stomach. We were still 45 miles from home. I pushed my plate away. I also ordered coffee. One sip of that was all I could stand. Too weak for me. It gets worse, much worse. My wife's eggs were barely cooked. She asked the waiter for some cooked eggs. He took her plate and returned about four minutes later. The eggs were still not cooked. She tried another bite but couldn't eat them. Her bacon was tough as a boot and not chewable. The home fries were average, but by the time her plate arrived at our table for the second time, they were cold. I pulled my card out waiting for our excellent server to return. He asked how everything was (he had to notice two plates still covered with food) and we politely told him. I ate one enchilada and some rice. My wife had two bites of egg and two bites of potato. He apologized and handed me the check. $65. Nothing comped and nothing adjusted. A manager should've been summoned. How does a place like this have any customers? It was our first and last visit.
