First time going here and it won't be the last. Their prices are very affordable which is rare in Seattle these days. The service was kind of slow and our food all came out at different times which isn't the best. The food was solid. You get a lot. The chicken curry wasn't my favorite cause I like a lot sauce but it had good flavor. The sandwich was enjoyed by my friends. The soup was good with a lot of meat. The spring rolls were really good too and decent size. The restaurant inside was small but still plenty of seats when we got there. They had a lot of traffic coming in and out of there so they must be doing something right. read more

Our group admittedly was planning to go to Valhalla for sandwiches only to find that Valhalla is closed on Sundays, so we found Green Tree and finding warmth from their comfort meals on a cold day. Ample street parking if you don't mind circling the block a few times, otherwise they do have a small lot behind the building for $5 for the first 2 hours. No wait time at all when we arrived. The menu is pretty traditional Chinese/Vietnamese food, including pho and other noodle soups and vermicelli bowls. The combo pho with meatball, brisket, tendon, and rare beef was filling, though the amount of protein did seem pretty slim compared to servings at other pho restaurants, and the broth did not taste as rich as I would have liked. Given the ample pho options in the north Seattle area, I'm not sure that Green Tree would be a go-to for me, but it was an okay meal at a decent price. read more

Delicious pho and spicy lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl. I really enjoyed my lunch here at Green Tree. Parking was a tad bit difficult to find but we managed to park across the street. You will find very affordable $13 bowls that's more than enough to fill you up for a few hours. The pho was very tasty- noodles were Al dente, broth was flavorful, meat was abundance. The Thai basil and bean sprouts were fresh. Service was good and attentive. 5 stars- would highly recommend :) read more

I'm doing another review so more people know about this place! This place, the staff is very nice. They make sure you got what you want and help you decide! The food is really especially the deep fried tofu which I ordered 3 times for my family table of 8. My family loved it. It is also pretty inexpensive compared to some of the places I went in Seattle. Slowly becoming a regular here, just because it's so good especially their Pho! One thing Fosho! I try's couple of the other entrees from the menu and most of them are great. The traditional broken rice dish with pork chop, egg pie tasted great! Just hoping there will be two pieces of pork chop though haha! Not to mention that their spring roll and deep fried egg roll are amazing as well. It's one of the essential items that must be ordered and be paired with anything on the menu. Great little Vietnamese restaurant in Greenwood. I love their vermicelli bowls. Their tofu banh mis are also delicious... the bread is sooo crispy. The menu is huge and the prices are reasonable. This place is going on my top ten fave restaurants in Seattle list!! The flavors of the pho (I did number 47, rare beef and brisket) blended so well together. The real star was my husband's chow fun. It was better than many of the places that we haunt in LA. It was delicious and not dry, but also not oily... and the meat was so tender. It's an intimate little spot with a single waiter busying about. The people next to us got the pancake/ crepe appetizer and it looked and smelled incredible. To go review: Got food here a couple times and it's always satisfying Vietnamese dishes. Their pho is better than most places around the area so that's a huge plus. I just can't bring myself to give 5 stars when they messed up my order and forgot an item. I had to go back and get it and there wasn't any compensation for their mistake. I think this is the best Vietnamese food I have ever had! The service was a little lacking, we had to flag down a waiter after waiting for a while to have them take our orders. However, the food was amazing. My family got the vermicelli bowls and I got the bun rieu. The bun rieu had a rich seafood flavor with a deliciously savory broth. I'm always happy to find a solid new Asian place. Green Tree does both Chinese and Vietnamese. I had the House Special Chow Mein with crisply noodles. It was served VERY hot, which I appreciate. Went to pick up a pho, a sandwich and some spring rolls after realizing uber eats charges another 100% for delivering said items. Crispy, delicious fresh bread for a top notch chicken bahn mi, and well-packed delicious pho broth with toppings on the side. Veggie spring rolls were also amazing. And it took 15 minutes between ordering on their website, walking 2 blocks, and getting back home. This is the way to go if you're nearby. read more

5/5 in terms of value! Some of the best bang for buck we've seen in Seattle. #27 was ok, probably wouldn't get it again. But #69 was really good and the fish sauce was amazing. We got the food to go and it was good service. The food was also ready quickly. One weird thing was that we could not pay online despite ordering online. Not a huge deal, just an observation. We will probably be coming here again! read more

This place has some really good standard Vietnamese fare. I love the noodles (with crispy onions) and the pho. Their broth is good--exactly what you are expecting. My favorite thing is to get an order of spring rolls and bone broth when I want something kind of light; but for something decadent-their grilled short rib is bomb.com! They also offer traditional Chinese food which has typically hit right on the mark. Highly recommend! read more

The proportions are very generous and the ingredients are fresh. We ordered BBQ pork fried rice and salt & pepper fried tofu. The reason for the 3 starts is because the food is FLOODED with MSG. Which makes it very flavorful. But most people cannot tolerate MSG and begin immediately to feel headaches and discomfort. So if you are in the population that cannot tolerate MSG, might consider skipping this food. read more

This place is awesome! Came by on a Saturday night for dinner and was able to get seated right away. There was a steady flow of customers dining in and a lot of take out orders too. We typically do take out but they do have about a dozen tables inside. Probably best for smaller groups of 2-4 people. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant too! Really great Vietnamese in the area! I liked that they open so late in an area that I dont think has much open after 9pm. The restaurant was clean and nestled in an easy place to find. We ordered an banh xeo, vermicelli noodles, a chow fun, and an order of broken rice. they were all tasty and very authentic. Banh Xeo was the perfect size with the right amount of crunch. it had a good amount of filling and super satisfying. the remainders of the dishes were perfect and exactly what I expected. my family was very happy with what we received and we were happy to find a place like this so late in the evening. would totally recommend for people looking for authentic Vietnamese food. Oh and the prices were awesome. read more

They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, look no further than the vermicelli bowl at this amazing Thai restaurant. From the first bite, I was hooked on the perfectly cooked vermicelli noodles and the flavorful combination of fresh herbs and vegetables. Ordered food over phone, they were in such a hurry didn't even take the name. Show up during covid and there are 10 people waiting for take out. I understand they were overwhelmed, what would have been nice is to provide some estimate wait time any wait times. After one hour of waiting in car back checking waiting in car. Decided to leave never wanting to come back. How the restaurant allowed these many people inside and why people where waiting inside is beyond me. The drink is giant (16oz -- it's probably not for other people but it is big to me) but the fruit tea went well with pho, and I was very thirsty so I downed it fast. I also liked they put pieces of canned peach and they stuck a long plastic spoon in the drink so that you can scoop out the peach and eat them. It's fun. I didn't have high hopes for the brown sugar boba but they got it right. It's a lot of drinks but I'm just going to say it's going to be my study snack for the night. The texture of brown sugar pearls is great but there's a room for improvement - some of the syrup did not integrate well with milk so I got some goopy pieces of syrup in my mouth, so it would be nice if the drink has a more smooth mouthfeel. But it tastes just fine, actually better than DIY, so I'm definitely coming back for more. People at Market Pho are lovely and I think that's also why I keep returning to the restaurant. Yay!
