I tried Flat White Coffee over the weekend and it was definitely a good place to check out when you're near Cypress/Cerritos. I tried their iced matcha latte and it was pretty good, not too sweet. My friends got their other drinks which I forgot the name of, but it was hella good. It had the cream on top which was so delicious. Anyways, parking is abundant, but inside has limited seating so not a great place to socialize at but a decent place to work and chill for a short period of time read more

No one acknowledged me or my daughter for a few minutes while we stood at the front counter to order. I ordered 3 hot drinks, none of which were given to me even warm. And, lastly, people who ordered after me got their drinks before me. Poor service, terrible quality. I do not recommend. read more

This is a cute little coffee spot. It was pretty busy when we came, with only 2 people handling drinks & taking orders but they were pretty efficient. We tried the coconut mocha & mango cream cold brew. The mango cream was interesting but unique, I wasn't too much a fan of it but my friend loved it. I loved the coconut mocha latte more. They had a bunch of pastries & we decided to try their matcha white chocolate cookie, this was AMAZING! It was soft with a good matcha flavor. Overall a good spot to get your coffee fix. read more

This place is SO cute. I love how the logo is a dog. The decor is very aesthetic and everything looks really clean. There is generally a line so expect to have to wait a little. Went here with some friends over the weekend. I had tried this place before once but hadn't been back in some time. They had some autumn decorations up, which really added to the vibe. The staff are super friendly. I asked how the strawberry milk was because I was craving something sweeter and they said it was delicious, which it was. They use a strawberry purer that I believe they make in house, mix it with some syrup and milk and presto -- a great drink! My friend also got a chocolate Madeline to share and it was DELICIOUS. perfectly coated in dark chocolate and not too sweet. I couldn't ask for better. read more

Really bad hot chocolate. First wasn't hot just warm. Second there was a honey like after taste. If honey is used then please inform customer. That's unusual. First sip bad. But I don't waste so I got half and had to dump it. I don't like giving negative reviews. Should be 1 star. Not sure if staff didn't like me for I don't know the reason. But they didn't seem happy apologize if I offended. read more

Pretty small place that has limited seating, but very popular with good drinks! Ordered the einspanner and mango cream cold brew. Both very solid drinks. Mango made the cold brew slightly sweet and aromatic. The einspanner is definitely one of their signatures. It's not too sweet and very creamy and smooth. There was a long line when I got there, but it moved pretty quickly. Very limited seating inside and it was kind of difficult to find parking in the lot on a Saturday morning. That being said, the high demand just goes to show how good this place is! read more

This place is so good! Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was quite busy, but the service was quick. We ordered the Strawberry Matcha, Lavender Matcha w/Einspanner Cream, and Coconut Mocha Latte. All the drinks were delicious! My favorite was the Lavender Matcha with the added Einspanner Cream because it was a perfectly balanced drink and the cream top was not too heavy but also not too thin. The cream top is an extra $1 but it's worth it. The inside is very minimalist, and there's tables and seating if you want to chit chat and hang out. I will definitely be back! read more

I came in because I saw they had a biscoff latte and I love cookie butter lattes! My husband ordered a strawberry latte for himself but neither of us liked that one but my biscoff latte was really good I got it with einspanner cream and that one was pretty good! It had a lot of biscoff cookie crumbs on top! I would probably come back just for that one! read more

Flat White Coffee is legit one of my favorite spots in Cypress. I got there right at 6:30 AM when they opened, and there were already five groups in line--that says it all. Their iced flat white and Einspanner latte are so good, and they've got fun stuff like Biscoff lattes and solid tea options too. Chill vibes, friendly staff, and easy parking. So happy with this cute cafe,.. the bright white, cute logo, and bright yet muted music. Great menu option, quality beans and matcha. Then the baristas prepping the drinks with care. Best part? Opens 6:30 AM Monday- Saturday (7:30 Sunday) but the doors always unlocked a few minutes prior. My absolutely Goto pre-work. read more

This is one of my favorite cafes! I got the einspanner! Incredible balance of creaminess & espresso. My friend got a hojicha einspanner latte, and it also had great flavor! FLAT WHITE COFFEE was recommended to me by a niece and she did not steer me wrong. This coffee shop is located in a shopping center with a lot of free and available parking. There was no line to enter or order. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks to get made. The workers are so friendly yet super efficient. Their EINSPANNER is a must order!!!! A much better alternative to frappucinos, if you're craving something caffeinated, yet dessert-like. read more

Here for the review of the Matcha Latte. I'm always on the hunt for great matcha latte wherever I am and whenever I can. I happened to be in the area and looked through yelp and tried to see some cafes with great ceremonial matcha. Stumbled upon this cafe and came in for the matcha. The color of the matcha looks strong and pretty green and not weak. Taste came to follow to be strong matcha and it's unsweetened as the way I like and drink my matcha. They have 2 different matcha profiles as stated in their menu. I will look into that and ask them what the difference in flavor is, if it's much difference or there's more sweetness in one. read more

Enjoyed many drinks from here esp the einspanner and mango cold brew. Mango cold brews name threw me off but I really enjoyed it. I also heard about friends loving the strawberry matcha. I enjoyed the coconut mocha drink as well! The pastries are also delicious I tried some jalapeno cheese one that I rly enjoyed. Also their merch and design is super super cute. There is not that much seating but plenty of parking. read more

Service was great, nice workers,clean and aesthetic shop. Only issue is the color of matcha is definitely off. I ordered a strawberry matcha and I got a grey colored matcha. I did ask for extra matcha which did help a little bit but tasted really artificial with the strawberry syrup. I do recommend other drinks though. read more

One word- einspanner If you've never heard of/tried one before, flat white is the place to try it. It's a short latte with a delicious lightly sweetened cream on top. They definitely have the best one that I've ever tried and I keep coming back for more! If you don't like coffee, add the einspanner cream to any drink you like and you won't be disappointed. Ample parking, great service. Seating is a little limited because the space isn't too big so it's not the best place for a large group! read more

the inside was very small, there was only a few tables inside with a couple of tables outside. but the parking lot is very big it's in a plaza but still many open spots which is always a plus! the drinks overall were nice and if i was in the area id probably stop by again! * the cream on the einspanner was so yumm and added a little to the drink, overall strong and sweet ! good mix * the strawb lemonade was nicely sweetened and enjoyable ! very refreshing * the mocha was very rich in the choco flavor and was mixed in very nicely :p * the biscoff latte was mid :(, the coffee was really strong which i enjoyed but there wasn't much of the biscoff flavor read more

I entered the coffee shop in what seemed to be a downtime, there was already a couple of people ahead waiting for their drinks. I waited to be rung up as there was only two people and they both seemed busy. My issue wasn't the waiting it was the lack of acknowledgment or welcoming people in. "Hi we'll be right with you" would've been appreciated instead of the pacing back and forth in front of me with no acknowledgement whatsoever. As a first time customer it left a bad first impression as there are a lot of coffee shops in Cypress. read more

One of my favorite spots for matchas. It's located in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking. I like coming here in the mornings, the shop itself is really cute. It's a nice way to start off the week. Staff is friendly and there's plenty on the menu to choose from. If you don't know what to get, they'll have recommendations! I don't drink coffee, so I usually go to places with solid tea selection. My favorite drink here is the strawberry matcha - I get it with oat milk. The matcha was rich and the strawberry flavor is sweet, but not at all overwhelming. I could probably drink two cups of this in a day. Anyone I've been with gets coffee, so rest assured that the coffee here is great too. Haven't tried any of the pastries, so will need to come back for it another time. 5/5 would come again. read more

11/25/22 Spotted this shop when we put down our names at Country Cafe a few doors down. I was quoted 10-20 minutes wait so, why not, here we go again killing two birds with one stone. It's a small coffee shop that offers in-house freshly baked pastries. Probably not the type where one could get comfortable enough to study or get work done. The tables & chairs are reminiscent of IKEA furniture. So I'm guessing if you're pushing 101 lbs, you can expect it to break underneath. So watch out! A young man took at the counter took my order, a pleasant & amiable kind of guy. I opted to try a hazelnut latte with oat milk & an almond croissant--he offered to warm it up. As I was ordering a lady walks by with a tray full of freshly baked goodies (that's what prompted me to order the croissant). My latte was pretty good, a little too sweet for my taste. I should've stuck to my usual oat milk latte. The croissant was pretty good. It had almond paste, tasty. When you have tasted an almond croissant that almost sent you to heaven, nothing else quite compares. I'm talking about the ginormous almond croissant from Nugget in Elk Grove. It's a neat coffee shop & the staff are genuinely nice, hospitable. It was good try. read more

tasty coffee shop with some unique drinks!! I came on a saturday morning around 8:45 and there weren't too many people. I ordered 8 drinks and they came out pretty quickly. I ordered their biscoff latte with oat milk and it was delicious. they add biscoff cookies into the drink so you really taste the flavor of it. all of my friends enjoyed their drinks and said they've had this place bookmarked for so long that they were excited to finally try it. we ordered: - biscoff latte - mango cream cold brew - strawberry latte - hojicha latte the interior is on the smaller side and they have a few tables inside. the ambiance and staff was super nice I would recommend trying this place if you're think about it! read more

Not a very friendly or inviting environment (in my opinion). Came when a guy was working and he just stared and looked miserable at us when we walked in. Wasn't very helpful when I had questions about the drinks. I got a ceremonial matcha with Einspanner cream top and when I got my drink he forgot my cream top.... It wasn't busy at all maybe Two customers (me included). When I told him about my missing cream top he looked at me stupidly like he didn't know what I was talking about. He then looked at my receipt and noticed he didn't make my drink correctly and just said "Oh" and added it. No "sorry"..nothing for the inconvenience.. Love it! The matcha was underwhelming I added vanilla syrup so it could be sweeter and honestly it wasn't sweet at all (at this point he probably forgot the syrup too). Would not go back again, complete waste of 9$ on a mediocre matcha. read more

We've been here a couple times and enjoyed it each time. Collectively, we've tried the Spanish latte, Einspanner, flat white, and hojicha latte. Spanish latte was good, but didn't quite hit the spot for my craving. Can't pinpoint it, but was lacking *something.* Definitely had it better elsewhere. I tried the Einspanner cuz the people in front of us in line were all getting it (yup, FOMO kicked in). It wasn't bad, but I think I'd stick with my regular hot coffees. He enjoyed the flat white, but was on the smaller side from what he's used to. You don't often see hojicha lattes in coffee shops, so I really wanted to try it here. I really enjoyed the roasted tea taste, but it wasn't as hot as I would have liked. The drink was warm, at best when I ordered it hot. Also got it at 50% sweet, and it was still too sweet. Really like the flavor though! I'd still come back to try other things-- maybe their matcha next time. read more

Strong strong coffee. Had one sip of my sisters cup and def not flat. I personally would like it more on the sweet end but overall does it's job. Cute spot with flower mirrors and we studied there for a bit. Best part imo? The salted butter roll. Reminds me of Okayamas and sooo good warmed up. Got the last one on the shelf and I'll be back for it:) read more

Wow! I had no idea what real coffee tasted like until today. I was used to the big chain coffee shops out of my sheer ignorance. Came in after I dropped off my car for service. I went in today for the first time and was immediately greeted by everyone working. As I walked up to the counter and looked at the menu as well as the beans, Angie, one of the owners, offered immediate assistance. Any time I go to a coffee shop, I'll typically order a cold brew because it is quick and easy. However, Angie explained everything I needed to know about the beans that they use from Counter Culture, which I decided to give a shot and go for a pour-over. After a few sips, the other owner, Ryan, approached me and asked how I was enjoying my drink. It was a quality V60 pour over! I appreciated our conversation as we spoke about the beans, the shop, and even about our coffee preferences. Ryan and Angie's ownership really display a friendly and welcoming environment. This place is very small and cute! I wish I could've tried this place with indoor seating because I love studying at coffee shops but for what they do offer, it's amazing! The social distancing is done very well and the drinks were yummy. I got a pumpkin chai latte and a corn cheese pastry. Just a heads up though--this is not a Masala chai with spices like cardamom. This chai is more of a sweet creamy cinnamon chai. Definitely recommend. Service 10/10 Friendly, pleasant, and helpful service. Ambiance 9/10 Clean and minimal design. On a Friday early, there was only 2-3 customers studying or reading. Great place to study with good free wifi, outlets, and a bathroom. There's also plenty of parking and lots of restaurants and eateries walking distance. I've gone to the Coffee Code in Fullerton, but it's always quite crowded when I've gone and I've struggled to find a table. Already planning to go back to this location in Buena Park.

The Iced Vanilla Latte was excellent! rich and flavorful, yet clean and smooth without being overly heavy or creamy. The waffle was also delicious, topped with fresh fruit and ice cream, making it a perfect treat to share or enjoy as dessert. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I'll definitely be coming back for another Iced Vanilla Latte.

I would recommend this drink to coffee drinkers who enjoy lighter roasts as there was a bit of a acidic taste from the grounds. The chai latte was more on the milkier side, but I noticed that there was an option to have more chai than milk when looking at their online menu. Their parking is shared with a McDonalds, small shops and a Ralphs. Parking can be a little scarce, but if you are willing to park a little further out, you won't need to worry. Cashier was very friendly and bubbly. She was also very kind enough to put the ice for the chai latte in a seperate cup when I asked.
