Flat White Coffee in Cypress, CA. This location was at the top of our list! We got our usual, hot Honey Oat Latte. This drink was recommended and is known to be a signature drink, whether you're having it iced or hot--you can't go wrong. They have two different sizes for hot drinks, regular or large. Though when ordering a large size, we felt like the drink lost its good blend of coffee, honey, and oat. We also tried the hot Honey Oat Lavender, which had a sweet and flowery flavor. The lavender wasn't too overwhelming and mixed well with the sweet honey, which the bitterness of the coffee neutralized. We went for a second drink, a hot Coconut Mocha Latte with Oat Milk. This drink was on the sweeter size and did surround its flavor on the coconut. It wasn't too much, but for those who don't prefer an intense coconut taste, this may not be for you. (In our case, we likes coconut). THEY USE FROZEN COFFEE CUBES AS THEIR ICE FOR COLD DRINKS!!!!! It's everlasting coffee with every sip! Other coffee recommendations that we had previously tried are the Strawberry Matcha Latte, Einspanner with foam, and the Chai Latte! Their pastries are one of the best here, but they run out quick! Not sure where they get them from, but they're made fresh every morning. We got the apple croissant pastry, which tasted like an apple pie with the bread of a butter croissant. Also, got a maple waffle, also made from the bread of a croissant, and our usual spinach pastry. Their regular butter croissant is recommended! Very friendly staff. Clean and pleasant space to chill and drink your coffee in. Got the Flat White, because how could you not if that is the name of the place, and was pleasantly surprised. I got the ice flat white latte and iced banana matcha, and both were really good. I loved how they grind the matcha leaves to preserve the freshness until it is ready to be consumed. I also got the some pastries, I think it was some mango puree morning croissant like bread, and guava croissant like bread, and both were really good. There was quite a line, so there was a wait, but I think it was worth it since they are making everything fresh, like grinding the matcha leaves when ordered. There aren't too many tables, so it felt more like a quick pick up place rather than a sit, chill, or study place. read more

One word: Pastries. Love, love their pastries! My favorite is the Spinach and Kale croissant and my baby girl loves their Chocolate croissant. So soft and flavorful. Their matcha latte is also delicious. Call ahead if you want to make sure they still have pastries available. I'm visiting from out of town and I have to say this is probably my new favorite coffee place in the Cerritos/Cypress/Buena Park. This is like the 6th different Coffee place I've tried while visiting the area. Truthfully, this is probably one of my favorite cold brews I've had in a very long time. This is super exceptional and totally hit the spot for my first coffee of the morning. The staff was incredibly sweet, sincere and provided exceptional customer service. I know if I was a local this would be the coffee shop I would visit daily. For anyone in the LA area, the blends and quality definitely remind me of Alchemist. I think next time I will get something to eat as well. There is plenty of parking, strong customer service, super friendly staff, and an awesome selection. High quality beans and excellent baristas. I had a Flat White, my favorite coffee drink, and how could I resist since it's the namesake of the shop :) I give it 10/10 stars! In addition to the typical coffee drinks, they also offer a Signature Drinks Menu that I plan to work my way thru. My son ordered the Biscoff Latte and gave me a taste... Wow!! The cafe was pretty small, not a good spot for big groups to go to. But they do have a couple of tables and chairs to just chill and study. The cafe was simple and clean! If only this cafe was bigger it'll be perfect since when it gets crowded there is no space to really stand at unless you don't mind standing outside waiting for your drinks They did sell tea and matcha on their shelves which looked pretty cool on how they displayed them, a very aesthetic look(From my perspective). They also sell their own merch too, sweatshirt and t-shirts of their doggo logo which was super cute. I wanted to get their t-shirt but unfortunately they didn't have the size I wanted :( I ordered their lavender matcha w/ whole milk and topped with their einspänner creamer. The drink itself was pretty delicious, well balanced. The creamer was a bit too heavy for this drink but I just love creamer toppings. It's a very small store, so the seating/waiting area/line to order is limited. It was awkward having to walk to the back of the store to order to going back to the front middle of the shore to wait for your drink. There were a few tables inside that gave some nice area to sit and chat. Doesn't seem like a great place to study if that was the plan. There was also some cute outdoor tables you can sit at. Weird layout, but cute aesthetic. Service- 4/5 pretty nice barista. Nothing to crazy. Overall- 4.1/5 stars! The drink was too good. I live close to walking distance to here, I have this place bookmarked for the longest time. Influencer Foodiebrentures has always gone here and recommended the Einspanner. She is not wrong, this coffee is quite good. It their signature drink and is topped with their thicc homemade cream. However, I can't say the say about their strawberry matcha latte they have here. Mine tasted kind of flat, not pun intended. It tasted like a matcha latte swirled in strawberry jam perhaps? I'm not sure how they made it but definitely not enough coffee nor enough fresh strawberry taste in this one. I opted for oat milk on both drinks, that's a $1 extra. Pretty standard charge across all cafes. Not sure if this place is Korean owned, it has similar indoor vibes as some other K cafes I've been to. This place will constantly have a line, though it's not long. Appreciate they crank out the drinks in the same order as the queue. Parking is plenty in the shared IHOP lot. read more

Flat white is a nice, local coffee shop making delicious coffee. A group of us stopped by and for our morning beverages. I ordered the namesake, a flat white, which is slightly smaller than a regular latte. The texture is also more creamy when compared to a latte. It was very good and the only problem was I should have ordered a second. They also have a pretty cool logo and I definitely purchased some merch. On the menu, in addition to coffee, is matcha. The matcha drinks looked interesting and it seems like they use a high grade, good quality matcha. I tried a sip of the matcha tonic and it surely did taste like matcha made with tonic. The tonic was not overly bitter but I actually still prefer a traditional whisked matcha. I also had a sip of the hot chocolate which was good. It had enough sweetness but a nice cacao note as well. Overall I enjoyed my flat white and would definitely recommend stopping by. There was a line but it moved quickly. read more

2.5 almost 3. We went in to try their pumpkin spice drinks not wanting to support corporate coffee chain. It was near closing time but it wasn't too busy even though most tables were taken. Inside you'll find bright white walls and furniture with touch of wood accents. Can't recall if we were greeted since both workers were making drinks when we stepped in but the person that took our order was approachable. The pumpkin cream cold brew was pretty flavorful but the cold brew wasn't as strong as other places. It felt more like brewed coffee on ice, but the pumpkin cream made up for it. As for the pumpkin spice latte, it tasted as one would expect but the large ice cubes made it water down fast. We got the mango lemonade, biscoff latte, strawberry latte, and the vanilla chai latte and all of them were absolutely delicious. Mango lemonade was a great balance of sweet and sour. Biscoff didn't hold back on the cookie crumbles which made it taste really good! Strawberry latte was new and different for me but tasted great, it is on the sweet side which is how I like it. Vanilla chai latte was excellent even if the vanilla flavor was somewhat subdued. The workers were friendly and even though it was busy they got our drinks out really quick and with impeccable quality. The inside was cute and clean and I love the art.
