I got it sweetened with 2% and I was slightly confused why the non-ceremonial grade matcha latte was actually on the menu for $.25 more expensive? I assumed it should be the other way around. I also got their popular Einspanner and it was the better of the two, very solid but tons of cream on top where I ran out of the latte before I ran out of the cream and ideally there'd be a slightly better ratio! Biscoff Latte: - Delicious flavor and great texture, especially with the cookie crumbled inside of it. - You do have to drink it quick because the cookie will become soggy and the texture will disappear. - Definitely an indulgent drink and not something to get all the time. Super nice cafe with friendly staff! They have plenty of drinks and pastries to choose from. The environment is very calm and seemed perfect for studying but there is limited seating. We got the bacon jalapeño cream cheese, einspanner and strawberry matcha. The jalapeño cream cheese was super soft and fluffy plus it was warmed as well! Id come back to try their other pastries. I personally don't like coffee so I found the einspanner to be extremely bitter and not sweet at all but my friend thought it was okay. Like a perfectly poured cappuccino without the foam. Great espresso flavor and served and just the right temperature (they are supposed to be warm, not hot). Flat White Coffee in Cypress, CA. This location was at the top of our list! We got our usual, hot Honey Oat Latte. This drink was recommended and is known to be a signature drink, whether you're having it iced or hot--you can't go wrong. They have two different sizes for hot drinks, regular or large. Though when ordering a large size, we felt like the drink lost its good blend of coffee, honey, and oat. We also tried the hot Honey Oat Lavender, which had a sweet and flowery flavor. The lavender wasn't too overwhelming and mixed well with the sweet honey, which the bitterness of the coffee neutralized. We went for a second drink, a hot Coconut Mocha Latte with Oat Milk. This drink was on the sweeter size and did surround its flavor on the coconut. It wasn't too much, but for those who don't prefer an intense coconut taste, this may not be for you. (In our case, we likes coconut). THEY USE FROZEN COFFEE CUBES AS THEIR ICE FOR COLD DRINKS!!!!! It's everlasting coffee with every sip! Other coffee recommendations that we had previously tried are the Strawberry Matcha Latte, Einspanner with foam, and the Chai Latte! Their pastries are one of the best here, but they run out quick! Not sure where they get them from, but they're made fresh every morning. We got the apple croissant pastry, which tasted like an apple pie with the bread of a butter croissant. Also, got a maple waffle, also made from the bread of a croissant, and our usual spinach pastry. Their regular butter croissant is recommended! Perfection in a cup is what one is sure to find here. I prefer my coffee strong and iced and that is exactly what I sipped on. Super cute space located in Cypress in the IHOP parking lot, a few doors down from the Doggy Groomers. A magical spot to sit back and relax or take it to go. High quality beans and excellent baristas. I had a Flat White, my favorite coffee drink, and how could I resist since it's the namesake of the shop :) I give it 10/10 stars! In addition to the typical coffee drinks, they also offer a Signature Drinks Menu that I plan to work my way thru. My son ordered the Biscoff Latte and gave me a taste... Wow!! So good it's definitely what I'm ordering next time :) The shop itself has a very peaceful vibe, mostly white finishes with light wood accents and plenty of plants. I have been here a few times, service was nice, drinks were decent. However, today I visited for the first time after a while, got a matcha einspanner and it tasted like pure milk. I asked if they could fix it because I wasn't going to pay almost $8 for milk. Then they said it's probably because it's unsweetened, which I was confused about because they didn't ask anything about whether I wanted unsweetened or sweetened (so I assumed it would be sweetened like any other matcha places). Said they would fix the drink, but they just added more syrup, making the drink tastes like sweet milk, not even a hint of matcha. She is not wrong, this coffee is quite good. It their signature drink and is topped with their thicc homemade cream. However, I can't say the say about their strawberry matcha latte they have here. Mine tasted kind of flat, not pun intended. It tasted like a matcha latte swirled in strawberry jam perhaps? I'm not sure how they made it but definitely not enough coffee nor enough fresh strawberry taste in this one. I opted for oat milk on both drinks, that's a $1 extra. Pretty standard charge across all cafes. Not sure if this place is Korean owned, it has similar indoor vibes as some other K cafes I've been to. I'm visiting from out of town and I have to say this is probably my new favorite coffee place in the Cerritos/Cypress/Buena Park. This is like the 6th different Coffee place I've tried while visiting the area. Truthfully, this is probably one of my favorite cold brews I've had in a very long time. This is super exceptional and totally hit the spot for my first coffee of the morning. The staff was incredibly sweet, sincere and provided exceptional customer service. I know if I was a local this would be the coffee shop I would visit daily. For anyone in the LA area, the blends and quality definitely remind me of Alchemist. I think next time I will get something to eat as well. There is plenty of parking, strong customer service, super friendly staff, and an awesome selection. Being a precious barista, our family values the quality of the coffee bean and milk foam more than the sugar mixtures you can add in it. My family was pretty underwhelmed so even though it's the closest coffee shop, we didn't return. It's about a year later in 2022, and the prices are the same, which is impressive considering the inflation in the past year. So the prices are less overwhelming, just kind of normal. We ordered the flat white and Spanish latte. The espresso is kind of sour, but the milk is foamed well. It's a very small store, so the seating/waiting area/line to order is limited. It was awkward having to walk to the back of the store to order to going back to the front middle of the shore to wait for your drink. There were a few tables inside that gave some nice area to sit and chat. Doesn't seem like a great place to study if that was the plan. There was also some cute outdoor tables you can sit at.
