I loved the atmosphere of this place. Came for lunch had the polenta fries! Yumm! Forgot to take pictures of the rest of our food. The fries are nice and crispy, the Mainstreet burger and veggie wrap were a hit and I had the fish and chips everything was great. They have an impressive selection of beer and wine. The dessert we saw being delivered to other tables looked heavenly but unfortunately due to dairy allergies I could not partake. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu. The food is delicious! The chef knows how to create a great blend of sweet and savory. The burger was cooked perfectly to a medium standard. The onions that were carmelized in the Two Headed Stout were the an awesome blend of sweet flavors with the savory flavors from the slice of sharp cheddar and the ground hamburger. Lastly the toasted almond cake for dessert was light and moist and a perfect choice. I can only assume I would have enjoyed the homemade ban mi or the cubano just as much, but I feel that is a fairly safe assumption. The red sangria and Moscow mule were mixed almost to perfection. They are two very different drinks when it comes to flavor, but they were equally smooth and tasted just as expected. Their list of beers on tap is average due to the limited amount of space around the bar, but they do have at least 5 craft beers on tap then a list of cans and bottles. As another review stated earlier, when i hear the name "feeling kinda kozy" i guess i think something more of a lounge chair and ambiance lighting kind of establishment. But i wont let that take away from what it actually is - a bar with a heavy menu of comfort food. Food was good and came out in record time, service was very attentive and pleasant. My only complaints - i HATE where the bathroom is. Like right next to tables in the dining room and when you enter the bar which eventually flows into the dining area, theres no room to actually enter - its like you open the door and walk into bar stools. Would hate to experience that on a particularly crowded night. I do believe we'll come again. read more

Picture this- you're on the road, a couple of hours to go and the Women's World Cup game you MUST see starts soon and your mission is to find a good spot to view said game. This is how we happened upon Feeling Kinda Kozy. After calling several places in Fishkill that seemed unaware of the game, the hostess here excitedly told me they'd have it on the big TV in the dining room with the sound on! Yay! Staff was equally enthusiastic about getting us a good viewing spot and setting us up with drinks and snacks. The beer selection was brief but had a couple of good ones on draft. Empanadas were tasty, crispy on outside and meaty on the inside - but the unusual sauce was a bit overpowering with garlic (it was supposed to be homemade salsa buuuuttttt......?). Nachos were pretty good. The pulled pork was on the sweet side but not overly saucy like some fake places do it up. Not much else going on besides the cheese on the nachos though. We stayed for the game and cheered with a few other tables - so it was a great atmosphere for that. And best of all our US WOMEN'S TEAM WON. And BTW they should totally be paid the same amount - maybe more - then those soccer dudes. read more

Upon Xavier's recommendation, we ordered the octopus appetizer special, which was done perfectly and delivered a ton of wonderful flavor. Amazing food. Fantastic bartender. We made the mistake of sitting at the bar to eat. As a Democrat and a millennial... I learned that my kind is not welcome here so we will not be returning. A group of regulars (pretty sure many of them employees) arrived around the same time we did (7:30ish) and proceeded to loudly have a martial fight, make fun of democrats, make fun of millennials (I'm employed full time if one of you is reading this. I also own my house so that's tons of taxes paid just FYI)... and then the gay bashing started and we got our checks. Oh and a lewd blonde joke to top it off. Saw some good reviews here and decided to give it a try. We had been traveling all day and were hungry. We are following a Keto diet so our choices can be limited. This place fit the bill! I had a shrimp and roasted beet salad with feta cheese and raspberry vinaigrette. It was large (took half home). My daughter opted for a burger sans the bun with a side salad. There are street parkings but not that many , it took me almost 10 minutes to find a spot . They greeted us very nicely and they had the table ready for our group . this place is awesome! i got the chicken quesadilla and it was the best i've ever had the cook must have put magic in this shit, it was delicious. my mom got the b.y.o burger and they made it exactly how she wanted it, & the house cut fries were so good! plus our server sam was amazing. sometimes its stressful to take my mom out to eat with her mental illness, but sam was very sweet, she was patient and she checked on us just enough. she even fixed our wobbly table without us saying anything. thank u sam! Stopped here after a grueling day long drive. We were transported to Italy for a delightful hour. Had the buffalatta app which was tremendous. Then penne and the ravioli of the day. My wife had a grilled chicken wrap and daughter had the pulled pork Mac and cheese. Both were very good. The only negative was it took over an hour to get the food. 1/2 hour just to get the soup. Beautiful wood bar and take a peek to the right you will find a cozy dining area. Room for 11 tables without being on top of the next group. The wood floors, tables etc are just Gorgeous. I really loved the food in this establishment, ive been there a couple times. But honestly I'm really upset with what transpired today. I took my friend there for her first time because I was eager to show her this adorable little restaurant. We get there and everything is great, a male waiter took our order and he was very polite and respectful, was timely and made sure to check on us multiple times. This is going to sound like a strange fact, but it's important, so just know that they keep ketchup in those red squeeze bottles ready to go on pretty much every table. When he brought us our food, he brought us ketchup as well, but I have an allergy to most ketchups as they usually include high fructose corn syrup. At most restaurants instead of making a scene and explaining that I have an allergy, I usually ask for a different dipping sauce. Mine of choice happens to be honey mustard. So, I casually asked if I could have some honey mustard on the side, thought no big deal of it. The waiter said "of course" and came back shortly with a side dish of it. He also brought back a woman who seemed to be the owner, who loudly was yelling about how "if I have to pay for it, then they have to pay for it". My friend and I didn't really think anything of it because she never directly said "honey mustard" but she was surely alluding to being upset about a customer asking for a sauce. My friend and I noted this loud conversation and I remember both of us being annoyed because of how rude it was to be yelling at an employee about anything in front of numerous tables of customers.. My friend finished her meal & I didn't finish mine so the waiter boxed up the rest of mine. The owner came up to my friend and gave her a container for the honey mustard that I didn't finish and said "do you want a container so you can take the honey mustard home?" My friend said "it's fine" and whoever the woman was stated "well you paid for it anyway". The amount of unprofessionalism was unacceptable. Some places can charge extra for extra sauce and that's fine. But the fact that she had the audacity to have an attitude to her customers and be nasty to part of her waitstaff in front of customers was just uncalled for. read more

The interior is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. Food was delicious. The real gem is the owner. She is super friendly and definitely eager to make people happy. For just opening they have a home run. The menu is in the process of being changed to include more dinner options, that's not to say you can't have dinner here yet, because the food they do offer now is both great for lunch and dinner.
