The owner, John, soon came over and struck up a friendly conversation with us. Drinks were good and attentively filled. The appetizers were perfect -wings, skins, sticks, and the best quesadilla. We took some food to go and everyone was very pleased with their meals - I think they were working with a second string kitchen staff due to the weather so I can only imagine what the food was like on a "regular day". They are not lying about the best tacos in town. Although the seating area is on the smaller side, it never felt cramped - it was the perfect spot to spend a few hours this rainy day. As a bonus, the bar tenders were super knowledgeable on the local beer scene. I really enjoyed hearing some of their stories on how certain breweries ended up on tap at Draught Industries. The excitement was unmatched walking into the building. Peeking in the back where the beer is made, so cool. The open room of the venue itself was nice as well. Lots of merch, lots of beer to go. We purchased two crew necks, a hat, and some beer. The staff behind the bar were able to help answer any and all questions that we gave to them. THEN we sat down to eat. Juice Bomb pint (obviously) and a Happier Hours pint. Started with the chilequiles tater tots and holy heck those were delicious. We also ended up getting the Porky's Revenge sandwich and Sloop Smashed Burger....no photos though because we were too excited to eat!
