We recently went to Louie's on the Avenue in Pearl River. When I was on their website, I noticed that they said if you are in the Beacon area to check out their other place. We happened to be in the area after going to Sloop. When we arrived, we didn't know that it was the day of the St. Patrick parade so the place was very busy. Service was still really good. They have a large selection of beers on tap. Some that are unique. We ordered the short rib burrito to split. It was delicious, I wish this place was closer so we could eat them more often. The only thing was the sauces on it were extremely spicy. The description didn't say anything about spice. We do not mind spice, so it was okay, but if someone ordered it who dislikes spice they would have had difficulty eating it.

Good beer but awesome burrito dinner plate, enough to feed 2! Good atmosphere and you can hear your company when talking and not yell in each others ear.Bartender was very attentive to our needs and our order came quickly!

Very nice cozy spot. Always a staple to go to whenever we are in the beacon area. Mexican food is always on point and their beers are tasty! Staff always wonderful and welcoming. Not necessarily a kid friendly atmosphere all tables are high tops with one shareable table. If you can get the corner table by the window then your kid will be contempt lol. Bathroom has great notes for you to read lol

We called this place and the timing was perfect, there are available spots for 7 people and we make the reservation at once. I loved the inside vibes of the place. I loved more what's on their menu. It has lot of options being said a brewery. The men liked the options for their beers. Each one got a flight. The beer order did not take long as well as the ladies drinks. Seemed everyone was enjoying each drinks as nobody seemed notice some delays on the food. The food was great. Serving size is big that each of the ladies take home their leftovers. I always enjoyed fish taco every Mexican place I go but this place offers a meal. It comes in 2 pieces and with beans and rice as sides. My husband nachos has the kick that he wanted and pretty passed his liking. My other friends seemed like their respective food as I heard no complaints. Music is good. Waitstaff is cool. A good spot to come by when in the area.

Came with our group of 6 total and enjoyed this spot for drinks and Mexican food for lunch. There's lots of seating and the beers/ciders are posted on the menu board for all to see. Service was attentive especially as we were the only customers at the time during the fall. I'd return!

Location is small and elongated with 2 large long bar tops. Doesn't look like much from the outside, don't let that turn you away. Exposed brick on both sides and a bartender, John, that is very knowledgeable around the beers on tap. I had the only Sour on tap and Amanda had 2 IPA's, one from Louisiana (Ghost in the Machine) and one from Albany (Fidens). Both very good! You could tell the beer lines were clean and they keep their place ready for the day. For food, we ordered 3 sets of tacos to share. Fish, Pork(Al Pastor) and Chicken with 2 sides(rice and beans). Each taco has unique flavor profiles. My favorite was the Al Pastor with the Fish as a close second. Would we come back? Heck yeah! Beacon is a great town and this is a really great spot for beer and food.

YUMMMMM!!!!! I've never had subpar food here as it's spectacular every single time. Ordered the Chicken Flautas with no cheese or toppings. Crispy and crunchy and the meat is tender and juicy. Don't even need cheese smothered on it! My brother got the nachos and couldn't even finish it, their portions are grand. I love this place! Greatest beer selection in all of Beacon.

This is certainly an awesome place to eat and drink when you happen to visit the vicinity. Me, my wife and several of my friends just finished a moderately difficult hike around this area and as expected everyone was famished and are ready to eat, even a whole dinosaur. We searched YELP on the possible joints/restaurants that we can go, visited a few places but each place that we go has about 1 hour wait time, seems like we visited this town at the time when the restaurants are so busy, luckily when we called Draught Industries there were seats and a table that just became available, we reserved it and told them that we will be there in 5 minutes. Street parking was challenging at the time of our visit so we just parked at a public parking area about 5 blocks away from this spot. We got to this business place, atmosphere and ambiance was really cool, appealing and cheerful, got seated immediately and was handed the menu list by the friendly, pleasant, sociable wait staff. We ordered, mixed drinks, beer flights, enchiladas, burritos, tacos, nachos and a few more. I noticed the short wait time on the food and drinks that we ordered, portions for each food item was substantial, great tasting beers that they offer, plenty of spirits and beer choices, the food taste excellent, each was a perfect match for all the drinks that we ordered. Staff were cordial, hospitable and very responsive to the needs of their costumers. I specially liked their pumpkin ale (drowned lands) and their nachos which is slightly spicy and had a very good balance in taste from all the ingredients that they combined. Me and my friends were more than satisfied with the food quality, service and cleanliness of this bar restaurant. When you happen to be in this town, visit on this specific joint and you will surely be delighted.

Draught is one of my favorite places in dutchess county to have a beer. They always have a nice craft beer selection. They have a long table when you walk in, it's great for groups or small couple can use it as well. The bartender is always helpful. They serve Mexican food, the burritos are really good. If you haven't been, I highly recommend.

Wanted to grab a drink and some food on a Tuesday afternoon. Plenty of parking outside this beer bar and not many people inside either. Not too much seating, though they do have a long communal table up front as well as stools along the bar. Prices are pretty high overall, so opted not to get a full lunch. Decided on one of the draft beers ($9) to go along with some Spicy Guacamole ($14). The guac is topped with cheese and greens, chunky texture and just the right amount of heat. Chips are thick cut and warm. For the beers, the first two I tried to order were out, so had to scan and try from the online menu. Good selection overall but at higher rates than expected. Good hangout beer bar in the area, and the staff are knowledgeable. Would go again to grab some cans to go.

Admittedly I was skeptical when I walked in and saw they had switched to Mexican food on the menu. I mean, was this really the place to order tacos or a burrito? ABSOLUTELY!!! The burrito was phenomenal, as were the quadrille and fish tacos. Not to mention the beer selection is A1. If you're near Beacon and want to enjoy some great craft beer at a bar, and also dine on some stellar Mexican food, this is THE spot to be right now.

I am a huge snob when it comes to Mexican cuisine. When I tell you this place is amazing... I'm underselling it! Drinks are delicious and well-made. The Spicy Guac has the perfect taste of Smokey and a great kick of spice, not overpowering. Very fresh! I had the Quesabirria and it was PHENOMENAL! Perfectly seasoned and cheesy. Salsa verde was a great little add on! And when you have an amazing server who is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive... full WIN! There's a reason they are the best in the area. I will be back again and again and again.

It was most unusual that our party of four all ordered the same. We started with a special app - Fried Shrimp & Calamari. Soo Delish! We followed with the signature dish, Cod Fish & Chips. I have had this entree in, I'd estimate, 50 restaurants, including several in England where I think it originated. NONE even come close to here! Oh My - the two big, thick pieces of lightly battered fresh cod fried to perfection! Flaky, moist and delectable. It just doesn't get any better! Wow! The fresh, hand-cut thick fries were again fried to perfection. Golden crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. I don't know what their secret frying technique is or the type of oil they use but the flavor is light and delicious. Even their homemade coleslaw tastes like they just made it - so fresh with a little tang - Mmm! We ended with a very unique lemon flan, even though we all said we couldn't eat another thing. Overall, portions are generous (we took home some left overs!), service staff were friendly and attentive, and the Owner & Head Chef, Elmer came out to check on us and tell us some of his culinary encounters with blue fin tuna. Fascinating! A most enjoyable meal and experience. If you've never been, What the heck are you waiting for!

We were given a very good table in a private corner so that we could talk freely without disruption. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We never felt rushed. The ambiance is not the feature here, but there are nice river views and outdoor dining. We sat inside. The food was very good, even if not what I consider haute cuisine. For the first course, I had the watermelon and feta salad; it was nice and refreshing, even if the watermelon was a bit old. For the main course, I had a pork chop with a potato croquette, and my wife had the fish. We both enjoyed our dinners. We finished with two desserts: bread pudding and a Peach melba. Overall, I recommend the Riverview and will probably be back the next time we visit. If you do stop in, say hello to the bartender, Shauan-Michel.

All I can say is Wow!!! Everything we had was incredible! Saturdays are pri-fixe only (other nights may be too) and the menu isn't huge but it was all amazing. You basically pick either a hot or cold starter or appetizer (some of the options are salads). Then you also pick an entree or main. Before they bring out your appetizer, they bring out a complimentary small starter - today it was a small radish salad and while I like radishes, my husband isn't normally a fan. Well, these may have changed his mind - and I think I LOVE radishes now!! It was incredible. For my appetizer, I chose the "famous Grange" egg rolls - and they are famous for a reason! They were easily the best egg rolls I've ever had. My husband had the Caesar salad and it was also delicious. We shared both easily - and had an egg roll to bring home for our son, too! For entrees we both selected the hanger steak - also incredible. Delicious and tender and both cooked perfectly - his rare and mine medium. Perfection. There were four dessert choices and each sounded fantastic as well - we decided on an apple crumb with homemade vanilla ice cream (me) and a flourless chocolate cake with the same incredible ice cream - and fresh made whipped cream! To wrap it all up, they brought us each 3 small bite sized treats (I will post a picture). They were also amazing...I realize I've used "amazing" and "incredible" multiple times already...I will need to use other adjectives when we go back but suffice it to say that we enjoyed everything we had. It also didn't need the potato fritter - pumpkin seeds work better. 2. While the 'bread' tasted good, it was essentially a garlic knot. I'd vote for something more traditional. 3.
