    a flat bread pizza

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while now for it's view of Wappingers Falls and ambiance. My friend and I came here on a warm Friday night around 7 pm and the place was packed. There were no tables available outside but we were lucky to find an empty high top table inside. No paper menu, just a barcode scan with your phone which is easy. There was live music and patrons were a more mature crowd which is nice. Unfortunately it seems that they were very understaffed that night. It took a while for a waitress to come over to take our orders and the food didn't come out together (My clam flatbread came out way before my friend's shrimp salad), but they were delicious. There was a nice selection of wine and some mixed drinks. I had the guava lemon sangria and the elderberry spritzer with prosecco shot. They were yummy, but not sure how much alcohol was in there since I didn't even get buzzed. We had a great time but overall the service was just too slow and wait staff was hard to catch.... We literally had to hunt them down to take orders. Even when they were behind the bar, they didn't make eye contact with anyone. I would give the food 4 stars if it wasn't for the service. Be aware that they do charge a 4% credit card fee. I would come back because it was a really nice spot and the food was good. The upstairs was also very nice with various seating options. However, I would definitely come back when it's not this crowded to have a better experience.

Read the reviews and decided to check this spot out. I've been in the area for the past 5 years and always pass by. My date enjoys wine so we figured we try Di'Vine out and I must say we enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly. The white clam was so delicious and my date had the empanadas she really enjoyed those. The wine was good also and the dessert topped it off. The outside deck was also enjoyable hearing the waterfall down below. I would definitely recommend this establishment for a nice date.

OMG the backed Brie with apples and honey is it INCREDIBLE here. I could eat it everyday! The views are beautiful, the servers are so nice, and the wine is well priced. Definitley a good spot to check out!

It's like a movie opener. Two buddies on the road with no particular place to go. What starts off as another high bill appetizer hang the two old school mates travel to a destination rumored to be a particularly "cool" place. So after a few missed turns they arrive in a quaint town. They park their car in front of the wine bar that the bartender from the previous stop recommended. Inside, hipsters and others they spoke to from the last stop. So, to not come off being creepy they looked at the bar next door. One bar tender, one saxophonist, and one drunk man. "Ok, now where?" A lit up sign caught the eye. Welcome to di'Vine wine bar. Where the door opens into warm, welcoming, and uber cozy bar complete with a sensational live band called "Tipping Over." The menu is a complete wine-o's perfect fit. Small bites to flat breads. Oh, and a grilled cheese made of AUSTRIAN Gruyere. Oh and Burrata! "Nahhhh, I should be good. I'll have the Meatball Parm Flatbread. No salad thank you." The reviewer thought to himself. The spirits of the wine aren't the only vintage worth noticing here. The spirit of humanity still exists and after seeing this place you will feel that all isn't lost. Really cool people still exist. You just need to look in the last place you would ever imagine yourself in. Add in the upstairs lounge and you're in the Hotel California of bars. That's dope. Order up! This place s a must visit. So visit.

The dippy duet of the tapenade and pistachio cream dip thing (sorry forgot the name) delicious. We ordered an entree to share and everyone raved about the lamb chops. Safe to say we'll be back. We arrived as soon as they opened and were some of the first there. The bar tender greeted us and we took our seats. He came over immediately and went through the entire menu with us. I ordered wine from their very large selection and my husband ordered a stout. They were out of his order so the bar tender brought over three similar options and explained them all. My husband picked one of the recommendations and it was a great beer. My wine was delicious. We ordered the Brie , burger, and my husband ordered their lomo. Everything was great truly. We just took our time and really enjoyed the space which was very cozy and relaxing. The best thing is going to a restaurant where wine and beer are their main focus and talking with staff that is enthusiastic about their products. Our waiter was great and we're sad we didn't get his name but he made the experience ten times better with his knowledge of wines and beers. We plan on returning very soon!!

It's one of those places where you can immediately tell the owners care about both the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant has a classy, Great Gatsby-inspired feel with elegant décor, plenty of space, and a spotless dining area. I loved the attention to detail, and the bar area is especially charming--it's the kind of place where you could easily stop in just for a glass of wine. We started with the hummus served with warm pita bread, and it was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken empanadas were another favorite--crispy, flavorful, and served with fresh pico de gallo that complemented them perfectly. I also enjoyed a glass of wine, and it paired beautifully with the meal. What impressed me the most was the hospitality. My daughter wanted fries, even though they weren't on the menu, and the chef was kind enough to prepare a fresh order just for her. That thoughtful gesture meant so much and really showed how much they care about their guests. The service was exceptional. The chef came out to greet us, and our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Before we left, they mentioned they have live music on certain nights, which gave us yet another reason to come back. This is truly one of Beacon's hidden gems. Between the delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality, it's a place I'll happily recommend. We already know we'll be back!

Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, it's always a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The servers know the menu well and are happy to make recommendations, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of our favorite times to visit is for their weekend brunch buffet, which offers a great variety of options. During the week, their Happy Hour (4-7 PM) is another favorite, especially the $1 oysters. It gets busy, so I definitely recommend arriving early. Just keep in mind that Happy Hour is available only in the bar and lounge area. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot shared with the neighboring restaurant, and offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river during the warmer months. The patio closes for the winter, but it's one of the best places to dine when the weather is nice. They also have a kids' menu, although my 6-year-old usually orders from the regular menu because she has a very adventurous palate. If you're looking for great seafood, excellent service, gorgeous waterfront views, and one of the best dining experiences in Newburgh, Blu Pointe is an easy recommendation. We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.

I'm close enough that it's a short drive, but far enough that it still feels like an escape. My perfect summer afternoon starts with grabbing a pizza from Stone's down the road, then wandering over here for a couple of beers while the day slows down. The beer program is exactly what I want from a neighborhood brewery. They nail the flagship beers, sprinkle in enough thoughtfully crafted seasonal releases to keep things interesting, and never try to overwhelm you with a tap list full of gimmicks. It's clear they care more about brewing great beer than chasing trends. If you've got kids, bring them. The co-op gardens are fun to wander through, there are usually a few well-loved toys scattered around, and they'll inevitably end up exploring, getting a little dirty, and having the kind of unstructured afternoon that's getting harder to find.
