Meatballs with red sauce

09/27/2025 Stopped here coming back from NY Garlic festival Just LOVE the vibe at this great wine bar. Not a huge menu... really a tapas wine bar. We were brought olives served warm as we waited for our dishes. We weren't too hungry after the garlic festival, so I opted for the Prosciutto and brie flatbread with micro greens. Very very good! My wife had their meatballs in red sauce with ricotta, which literally fell apart as she 'forked' them... but OH SO good! I understand this is a new place and I do hope it does well for 'Elizabeth" (I believe). Terrific owner/hostess.

Estilo y Vino is vibe, we had a wonderful time Saturday night. By the time we left there was live music playing. Their Tapas was awesome we ordered a couple of items and everything was just delicious perfect amount to share between two. Service and the difference drinks we tried were just perfect. Looking forward to the next visit.

The space looks fabulous, was greeted with a live music on stage . Went straight to the bar and was served right away. Wine was good . I didn't have any food but by the looks of it from the ppl seated next to me , it seems good.

Sat outside and got to enjoy the live jazz band without it being too loud. Great wine selection and friendly service.

I cannot wait to come back here. Popped in on a rainy day after hiking, I was really impressed with…read morethe excellent beer options on tap. Having some of my favorite beer options from the local area / North East (shout out to Mast Landing's Gunners Daughter). Aside from the beer, the tacos here were incredible. They are not lying about the best tacos in town. Although the seating area is on the smaller side, it never felt cramped - it was the perfect spot to spend a few hours this rainy day. As a bonus, the bar tenders were super knowledgeable on the local beer scene. I really enjoyed hearing some of their stories on how certain breweries ended up on tap at Draught Industries. Hoping to be back again this summer/fall.

Beacon is a destination town for beer lovers. Between Industrial Arts (which brews some of my…read moreall-time favorite beers), Hudson Valley Brewery, Two Way, and a handful of others, you could spend a whole weekend here just brewery hopping. Draught Industries fits right into that scene. It's a spot run by people who clearly care about craft beer, with a long, rotating tap list and a laid-back, slightly quirky vibe. But what surprised me most was the food. I started with the pulled pork sandwich with ghost pepper aioli. The pork was tender and smoky, and the aioli brought real heat without drowning out the meat. If you like spice, get it. The real reason I'll be back, though, is the wild boar tacos. I love wild boar, and you almost never see it on a menu, so I ordered it the second I saw it. They come topped with guacamole, pineapple pico de gallo, and habanero peppers. The richness of the boar, the creamy guac, and the sweet pineapple against the habanero heat all worked together perfectly. Easily some of the best tacos I've had in the Hudson Valley. Great beer, bold food, and a menu willing to take chances. If you're doing a Beacon brewery crawl, make Draught Industries a stop. And come hungry.

Go north young lady to Beacon, NY in Hudson Valley region of NYS! Labor Day 2026 out of the city…read moreescape to meet with good friends to be chosen based on value, lasting connection of unconditional acceptance for inclusion in good merriment times. It is then my heart heals. My party of six (6) adults decided on pizza. We did not wait for a table. We did not have any reservation, but entered on a whim for lunch. I have spent almost 2.75 hours travelling and suffering MTA NYC Transit weekend planned service work on a Sunday holiday weekend via MTA shuttle bus, subways A, L, 6 trains followed by Metro North Railroad to reach Enoteca Ama. My party inquired if there is a restroom for patrons' usage whom the male waiter mocked my female friend in a snide condescending tone "NO, there is none you would have to go out to do that!" Consequential, four stars and yes, there is one facility available which is relatively clean. The business name Italian literally translation means "wine repository" or "wine library," describes a local wine shop or wine. At first I thought the AMA sounded similar to AMC Theatres. The waitress was kind to take a group photo. There are no table cloth, but there are individual cloth napkins for linens. When inquiring if the bill can be divided individually our request was blatantly dismissed which ultimately it was entered in one bill for our party of six, totaling $155.70. Price is extortionate high as expected in 2026 economic stagflation era. Business cards are available for grabs. Enoteca AMA serves 12 inch, individual-sized cooked in a imported Italian Pavesi brick hearth wood fired oven which is not stated on their printed menu. Their menu is equivocate to obfuscate as it is not descriptive of the pizza ingredients. It obfuscate as it is not specific and very vague without any details. Perhaps, Enoteca Ama need a copywriter? I am very grateful for this individual 12 inch size as it is not large, but a fairly good size fit for one adult. There are many options for pizzas. I personally find standard cheese pizza to be morbidly boring. The staff and chef or cook is very accommodating with my one person in our party specific food preference and dietary request needs gluten free, vegetarian, no added salt. I requested cold water sustaining my thirst in addition to my libation. We were all satisfied with our respective selection of food and drink. Whereas, customer service including the resonate effects of communication is a different story. Prosciutto pizza $20.00 This was my selected pizza with Prosciutto ham, Stracciatella cheese, and arugula, NY style thin crust. I did not taste any figs. It was heavily topped with arugula which was exceedingly more the amount than average. The slices of cured ham was good. There were minimal tomato sauce. The crust was crispy, but as my standard I choose not to consume the end crust. The olive oil embedded was good. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Luna, Tuscany, Italy (red wine by the glass) $13.00 It is my favorite wine because it is medium-bodied of balanced acidity making it smooth and easy to drink with 13% ABV. It is a dry, long-lingering smoky-sweet finish. Aged in oak. At long last, I finally attained by the glass for libation immersed in full enjoyment of this smooth finish red wine. I actually taste the grape. Vegetariana pizza $17.00 Cappricciosa pizza $19.00 Vegetable panini $18.00 Burrata mango $18.00 Vegetariana pizza $17.00 Iced tea $3.00 X2 ($6.00) Ginger ale $3.50 Cappucciono $4.50 Cider pear $8.00 Go north young lady to Beacon, NY at Enoteca Ama!

Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, it's always a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The servers know the menu well and are happy to make recommendations, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of our favorite times to visit is for their weekend brunch buffet, which offers a great variety of options. During the week, their Happy Hour (4-7 PM) is another favorite, especially the $1 oysters. It gets busy, so I definitely recommend arriving early. Just keep in mind that Happy Hour is available only in the bar and lounge area. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot shared with the neighboring restaurant, and offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river during the warmer months. The patio closes for the winter, but it's one of the best places to dine when the weather is nice. They also have a kids' menu, although my 6-year-old usually orders from the regular menu because she has a very adventurous palate. If you're looking for great seafood, excellent service, gorgeous waterfront views, and one of the best dining experiences in Newburgh, Blu Pointe is an easy recommendation. It's one of our favorite restaurants, and we always look forward to coming back.

We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.
