On our way down Main Street, we were drawn into Reserva from the live music playing inside. We changed our plans and decided to grab a bite here. The menu is pretty limited, as it is a wine bar. But the food was very good. The croissants melted in your mouth! The quiche was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh. My first visit to the new wine bar in this space was really rewarding. I thought the combination of what did and didn't change was just right. What didn't change was the decor and ambiance, very relaxing, very comfortable. What was new was the food and wine selection. The wine selection was a diverse variety of wines completely new to me, and that's a good thing. If you want to try something other than wine, you can also select from a small sample of local beers, and even a local mead from the new meadery in Poughkeepsie. The food and wine selection features a number of Brazilian, Portuguese, and South American options (among many others), which makes perfect sense given chef Pedro's background. He's behind all the food options, and he knows his wines - listen to his recommendations. If you really want to get the ultimate variety, I heartily recommend the Reserva board. Both Pedro and Tanner make it their duty to check in with all their customers regularly. These are guys invested in their business and your satisfaction. We lost track of time here, we were having such a good time. I think for us the important question is not going to be when to next visit, but how often. read more

Overall: I came to this Brazilian wine bar right before going to Storm King Sculpture Park (the place was a 20 min drive more north of Storm King but worth). It has great wine, unique and tasty brunch items, live music, and spectacular service Service: 6/5; people are just nicer not in nyc I guess lol--- not only did they let our (well behaved) dog inside, the waitress also brought him a bowl of water and gave us (not the dog) really good wine tips Drinks: 5/5 I got a specialty white--the vinho verde; I asked for something light and a bit sweet and it was exactly what I got! My friends also said the latte was amazing (but was surprised it was ~$7 for a mid-size cup) Food: 4/5; 3 out of 4 people including myself got the Brazilian chicken pie and it was delish! My other friend got the Brazilian eggs Benedict ; he was slightly disappointed that the eggs weren't runny though. My fave was the pao de Queijo(5 pieces of cheese bread) it came with a guava confit that also tasted alcoholic which was a cute surprise. I loved the wine bar that was here before Reserva, but Reserva is quite the upgrade! Shabby chic turned sleek-chic, what with the dim lighting in beautiful fixtures, brass accents, wood and exposed brick. I also love that the staff are all outfitted in dark blue shirts and brown suspenders. It's ultra sophisticated but not at all snobby. Everyone is so welcoming. We came early on a Saturday evening, right before the live music started. Chill vibes all around, I knew I could easily spend some happy hours here. The menu offers up some small bites, with vegan, vegetarian and GF noted. There are not many vegan options, which, if they could just add something a bit more hearty than crudite with dips (ie, bread, crackers), I'd gladly make this my one stop for the evening. I love raw and pickled veggies, but I need more than that or it's a one glass stop for me (I loved it here so much, I stayed for two, but please pretty please add a couple more veg options). If you don't have restrictions, there's plenty of charcuterie and cheeses for you. What I really love? They encourage you to taste before committing to a pour. I can't tell you how many glasses of wine I've suffered through in my life. The list goes from lighter wines to fuller bodied (reds, whites). They have some bubbles by the glass, too. I'm so glad that I have a real wine bar to frequent in Beacon again. While surrounding bars often have a couple decent options, I prefer a wine bar so that I have a lot of choices. read more

This place is amazing. What a great addition to Beacon. Not only is the wine good, but the food is excellent. The owners have created a really sophisticated place to enjoy live music on most nights, with great food and wine. Stopped by Saturday afternoon... very interesting wine list - bubbly from Brazil? White and Red collection from Bosnia, Serbia? I ended up with a glass of white from Greece and red from Italy... both I'm happy with. We also grab a snack - Brazilian cheese bread was awesome and reminded me of time traveling there! I really don't know where to start. My husband and I and other Yelp friends went to this wine bar. Our server was so nice and the food and drinks were amazing! We ordered a baked brie, charcuterie board and special bread. Baked Brie was so delicious and not to warm and not too cold. It was very creamy and set if with little waffle crackers. Whatever you get to drink, make sure you get the pao de queijo with it! The bread is such a great texture and the guava jam has a nice hint of spice in it. My girlfriend and I came here for a quick drink before dinner and I can never resist cheesy bread. The waitress was very nice and gave great descriptions on a few beers/wines we asked about. Not sure how often the changed their menu but I enjoyed the passionfruit white tea beer from Slate Point Meadery and she had the Moscofilero wine from Skouras. My beer was very light, you could taste the tea flavor. I would describe it as almost a sour beer? Or a cider? We would've had a few more glasses if we didn't have dinner reservations. Things I loved: Delicious Rose, friendly and welcoming hostess, comfortable ambiance, excellent live music. This could be a really great place. It's on the verge. Things that bummed me out: Inflated prices and a server who was visibly annoyed that we weren't there to spend a couple hundred dollars and made it very awkward for us. Is it a crime to go out for a drink after dinner and have a designated driver? I know you're trying to be cool and you love rich people, Reserva, but don't forget the definition of hospitality- "The friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers." In my opinion that's what matters most in any place that is for gathering over good food and good drinks with good friends. P.S. We still gave her a 30% tip because we respect what she does. Very cute and modern wine bar. This place recently opened in place of the old wine bar called Chill. The inside has been updated with lots of lighting and a stage for live music on Fridays. The menu has been spruced up with tasty bites and the drink options include plenty of wines and some beers on tap. It's a millennial's paradise! read more

We stopped here after dinner in pursuit of a cozy hang with some music. The place is beautiful inside- all exposed brick and trendy lighting. The design is beautiful. Music was great. Music acts are top notch in general. Wines are great with knowledgeable service. There is a small bites menu for snacks or a light meal. We wish they had some dessert items, but they did not. My husband and I threw our daughter and her now husband a belated engagement party at Reserva the day after Thanksgiving. Pedro and Tanner couldn't have been more helpful, amenable, cordial, and accommodating. The bar is elegant, classy, and the food and drink were first rate. The spread of tapas type nibbles were delicious and beautifully displayed. With flowers and an Etsy designed welcome board we brought in, the accompaniment of a great jazz band, set in an intimate warm setting made for the perfect party! I have been here several times for drinks and food and have had a great experience every time. We just had my sister's bridal shower at Reserva this past weekend and I cannot recommend them enough for any event you may need! Not only are they amazing to work with and Pedro and Tanner are there for you every step of the way, but the food, wine, and presentation were all just outstanding. Jake, Isabelle and Mike were there throughout the event as well and were friendly, kind, helpful and caring. Pedro and Tanner gave us free run of the entire bar to decorate how we wanted and we were even able to stream our own music playlist easily. We had the best time and cannot wait to go back! I definitely recommend coming here for drinks and food anytime you can make it but also definitely consider them for a private event! read more

We came across a review of Reserva while having coffee in Beacon. Since my husband lived in Brazil as teenager and has built a long career in the wine industry, this gem of an establishment was at the top of our list. We were so impressed with the sophistication and warmth of Reserva. Every element of the decor and wine/food service was thoughtfully selected: the glassware, lighting, modern tableware, photography lining the exposed brick walls, and most importantly, the internationally representative wine list, which we were told rotates regularly. The waitstaff was exceptionally gracious and knowledgeable. We gobbled down our pao de queijo sliders before thinking to take a photo, but they were divine and very imaginative. The Reserva Board was gorgeous to behold and included some exotic white guava and dragonfruit, which were superb palate cleansers. I have raved about Reserva to anyone who will listen. read more
