It's one of those places where you can immediately tell the owners care about both the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant has a classy, Great Gatsby-inspired feel with elegant décor, plenty of space, and a spotless dining area. I loved the attention to detail, and the bar area is especially charming--it's the kind of place where you could easily stop in just for a glass of wine. We started with the hummus served with warm pita bread, and it was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken empanadas were another favorite--crispy, flavorful, and served with fresh pico de gallo that complemented them perfectly. I also enjoyed a glass of wine, and it paired beautifully with the meal. What impressed me the most was the hospitality. My daughter wanted fries, even though they weren't on the menu, and the chef was kind enough to prepare a fresh order just for her. That thoughtful gesture meant so much and really showed how much they care about their guests. The service was exceptional. The chef came out to greet us, and our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Before we left, they mentioned they have live music on certain nights, which gave us yet another reason to come back. This is truly one of Beacon's hidden gems. Between the delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality, it's a place I'll happily recommend. We already know we'll be back!

We had a great time playing a game as we were eating and drinking. The drinks all had different flavors, and we're all very well blended and balanced for taste. I would say my favorite one was the surprise me drink. The Korean nachos were delicious, and there was a nice little tang of flavor as you eat it. The garlic dipping sauce that came along with the tallow fries was very addicting to eat (not usually fond of garlic) We finished everything we ordered. Overall the drinks complemented the food flavors very well. Kiera made sure we were good with our food and drinks, she was funny to talk to and made our first experience So much better. We didn't have to wait long to get a table and our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. I would recommend this place for any occasion, happy to have celebrated my birthday here.

Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, it's always a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The servers know the menu well and are happy to make recommendations, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of our favorite times to visit is for their weekend brunch buffet, which offers a great variety of options. During the week, their Happy Hour (4-7 PM) is another favorite, especially the $1 oysters. It gets busy, so I definitely recommend arriving early. Just keep in mind that Happy Hour is available only in the bar and lounge area. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot shared with the neighboring restaurant, and offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river during the warmer months. The patio closes for the winter, but it's one of the best places to dine when the weather is nice. They also have a kids' menu, although my 6-year-old usually orders from the regular menu because she has a very adventurous palate. If you're looking for great seafood, excellent service, gorgeous waterfront views, and one of the best dining experiences in Newburgh, Blu Pointe is an easy recommendation. It's one of our favorite restaurants, and we always look forward to coming back.

We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.

Go north young lady to Beacon, NY in Hudson Valley region of NYS! Labor Day 2026 out of the city…read moreescape to meet with good friends to be chosen based on value, lasting connection of unconditional acceptance for inclusion in good merriment times. It is then my heart heals. My party of six (6) adults decided on pizza. We did not wait for a table. We did not have any reservation, but entered on a whim for lunch. I have spent almost 2.75 hours travelling and suffering MTA NYC Transit weekend planned service work on a Sunday holiday weekend via MTA shuttle bus, subways A, L, 6 trains followed by Metro North Railroad to reach Enoteca Ama. My party inquired if there is a restroom for patrons' usage whom the male waiter mocked my female friend in a snide condescending tone "NO, there is none you would have to go out to do that!" Consequential, four stars and yes, there is one facility available which is relatively clean. The business name Italian literally translation means "wine repository" or "wine library," describes a local wine shop or wine. At first I thought the AMA sounded similar to AMC Theatres. The waitress was kind to take a group photo. There are no table cloth, but there are individual cloth napkins for linens. When inquiring if the bill can be divided individually our request was blatantly dismissed which ultimately it was entered in one bill for our party of six, totaling $155.70. Price is extortionate high as expected in 2026 economic stagflation era. Business cards are available for grabs. Enoteca AMA serves 12 inch, individual-sized cooked in a imported Italian Pavesi brick hearth wood fired oven which is not stated on their printed menu. Their menu is equivocate to obfuscate as it is not descriptive of the pizza ingredients. It obfuscate as it is not specific and very vague without any details. Perhaps, Enoteca Ama need a copywriter? I am very grateful for this individual 12 inch size as it is not large, but a fairly good size fit for one adult. There are many options for pizzas. I personally find standard cheese pizza to be morbidly boring. The staff and chef or cook is very accommodating with my one person in our party specific dietary request needs of gluten free, vegetarian, no added salt. I requested cold water sustaining my thirst in addition to my libation. We were all satisfied with our respective selection of food and drink. Whereas, customer service including the resonate effects of communication is a different story. Prosciutto pizza $20.00 This was my selected pizza with Prosciutto ham, Stracciatella cheese, and arugula, NY style thin crust. I did not taste any figs. It was heavily topped with arugula which was exceedingly more the amount than average. The slices of cured ham was good. There were minimal tomato sauce. The crust was crispy, but as my standard I choose not to consume the end crust. The olive oil embedded was good. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Luna, Tuscany, Italy (red wine by the glass) $13.00 It is my favorite wine because it is medium-bodied of balanced acidity making it smooth and easy to drink with 13% ABV. At long last, I finally attained by the glass for libation immersed in full enjoyment of this smooth finish red wine. I actually taste the grape. Vegetariana pizza $17.00 Cappricciosa pizza $19.00 Vegetable panini $18.00 Burrata mango $18.00 Vegetariana pizza $17.00 Iced tea $3.00 X2 ($6.00) Ginger ale $3.50 Cappucciono $4.50 Cider pear $8.00 Go north young lady to Beacon, NY at Enoteca Ama!
