Bees Knees cocktail. Delicious and mouthwatering

This summer I've been loving Jar'd in New Paltz! Quaint and cozy vibes and the perfect little escape for snacks and sips with a friend or by myself while reading on the deck. They recently launched their tapas menu again and the quick and tasty apps are delish and the perfect pairing to every cocktail! Highly recommend a dirty martini and asking the bubbly jardtenders what they prefer to sip on! 10/10

THERESA IS THE QUEEN!!!! Absolutely must visit. The most delicious cocktails and I couldn't stop eating the olives. Incredible service, beautiful vibes, sit in the back garden and I cannot recommend enough.

Cute little wine bar right in the New Paltz Water street Market! Great drinks and friendly bartenders! Have come many times for a drink or before dinner at one of the other local restaurants.

This is a cute little place off of Main Street in downtown New Paltz... located at the Water street Market right before the bridge. There is a parking lot tucked away up on the hill in the back. This place is within those shoppes in The Water street Market. This place is a SUPER small space. Has one small room with a bar and 3 or 4 tables on the side .. and then there is a small patio with a few couches. It was a cold heavy rainy evening so we had no choice then to stay inside. Bar is cute with cool glasses. I remember The playlist was hipster-ish - playing "wolf like me "TV on the radio and "where is my mind" by the pixies.... The menu is small. I tried the Depaula spanish wine and I liked it a lot. I also tried the "Double whammy dark and stormy" cocktail- it was strong and it suited the evening but it wasn't my favorite. Appetizers/tapas... We tried the local cheese plate ( so yummy) and the charcuterie plate had delicious green fig and manchego ( Spanish cheese) - so good. These were good snacks. The owner was very friendly- she was a one woman show- she bartended and served the tapas. There was only about 3 other people there besides us... so I had no issues with service or waiting. I would definitely come back for some wine and cheese- yes please! :)

These homemade boozy pops were refreshing in the July 4th heat! I especially liked the tequila watermelon strawberry and lime pop from this quaint little wine bar. We also opted for the boquerones (white anchovies) served with kettle cooked chips... the combo was amazing and delicious! Also, let's not forget those Hudson Valley views!

Popped in on a pretty evening around sunset during my mini escape to the Hudson Valley. Prices are comparable to where I live in Central NJ, but definitely worth it. Primarily a spot for drinks--with a small but cool and warm interior, featuring light wood, teal damask wallpaper, and mismatched Edison bulbs, it strikes me as just the right balance of cozy and cool. I enjoyed my drink (an excellent Negroni made with super refreshing local gin) on the back porch and watched the sun go down behind the ridge. The spot, the view, the drink -- it was all gorgeous. Ps. There doesn't seem to be a kitchen, so the dishes on the tapas menu are apparently all pre-made / toaster-heated. I had the duck rillettes, which made for a tasty snack. But if you're really hungry, plan to get dinner before or after heading here for a nice drink.

Such a cute little wine bar! The bartender Oliva was the best, so sweet and friendly and made sure everyone was happy. Cooly decorated bar, with a light menu inspired by Spanish tapas. Funky different shaped light bulbs hang from the ceiling above the bar. The place is definitely cozy and quite tiny. Outdoor seating is comfortable which is located in the back of the bar. Plenty of wine, craft beer and ciders to choose from. I could see this place located in Brooklyn. A quite & intimate place to stop in for some drinks.

the patio is lovely, and winterized so it'll be open in the cold weather.

A tiny little wine bar in a tiny little strip of shops in New Paltz. Room for maybe ten or 15 people between the bar itself and the small patio. Pricey, but chill. The wine list is swell, the beer list small but strong (they had Hitachino White on tap the night I came), and the sangria looked delicious. The bar is wallpapered in paisley and the patio has a view of Skytop.

Heaven on earth! They serve sangria and tapas and encourage my dogs to roam freely on the back porch.

The view from the front entrance where you can relax and enjoy your drink.

Fun little place for great craft cocktails and wines by the glass. A limited snack menu, so don't go hungry.

Small and quaint. Loved the charcuterie rue and cheese boards. Nice selection and portions on both.

Once there the vibe feels rustic, historic, little speakeasy vibes. Service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable about all the different wines available. The charcuterie grazing board was every and any thing you could possibly want, at least we thought so. Sooooo good!! The dippy duet of the tapenade and pistachio cream dip thing (sorry forgot the name) delicious. We ordered an entree to share and everyone raved about the lamb chops. Safe to say we'll be back. There is a parking lot across the street. Hard to see any signs on where you have to pay but it's not free.

Such a good deal, $40 for 2 glasses from their signature wine list and a charcuterie board of your choice. The server was kind and informative, very friendly and open to conversation. She suggested the board with smoked mackerel, served with warm bread, avocado crema, juicy cherry tomatoes and gherkins. Beautifully presented and so delicious. We loved our Pinots and of course I indulged in a second glass. Peace, The Happy Hour Huntress
