The pesto was smoky and hearty. The butter also had a wonderful flavor. We also had lamb pasta with olives and anchovies, pork collar, and smoked carrots with feta and dill. Amazing flavors with those dishes as well. Then we finishes with the blood orange tartlet and sourdough sundae. The mix of flavors in the sourdough sundae was incredible. It took 45 min for our drinks to come and 1.5 hours for our food. My salmon dish was good. The salmon was cooked well and the skin crispy. I was starving by the time the food came. My friends' gnocchi was soggy and lacked flavor, despite being visibly drenched in butter. It's still unclear to me if something unique was happening that night or if this was the restaurant's standard service. It would have been nice if someone came to explain the delay, but we were left in the dark. It seemed like the table full of rude people loudly complaining got a few free drinks and apps. We were seated before them and politely waited, but they didn't offer to comp any of our food or provide an apology regarding the delay. Given the lack of explanation and the indifference regarding their poor service, I am left to believe this type of service is standard here. There were many points in the night where we thought about leaving to get dinner elsewhere. I would not recommend Runa.
