Sesame crusted tuna

This place is fantastic! Private parking off Main Street, a cozy yet sophisticated dining environment and a wonderful menu. My friend go the lamb shank and I got the seared crusted tuna and it was fabulous! We also tried the tiramisu which was amazing. Our server was attentive and very nice. We will be back!

I've been coming here for years. When a restaurant is consistently this good you sometimes forget to show it some love. Wonderful cocktails and wines. Truly delicious food always beautifully presented. Super friendly owner and staff. Great, personal service. Relaxed, welcoming vibe. A vacation for the mind, spirit, and palette. Go and enjoy!

Our first time here and we would come back. We found this place on Yelp so thank you to all the good reviewers! I'm finally starting to taste food again after too many weeks after having COVID and everything sensed to be bursting with freshness and flavor. The complimentary bread and spread was tasty, crunchy and light. Both the chicken and French onion soups were tasty and not overly salted. However they might have used too many vidalia onions so a tad too sweet. The chicken soup tasted home made. The mediterranean salad was a good mix of fresh greens, a-hearts, eggplant, olives, tomatoes mozzarella and roasted red peppers. The extra chicken for $6 made it a meal. The lobster ravioli had nice sized pieces of lobster but the mushroom sauce was too overpowering and not a good match. The wait staff were friends and efficient. Overall a happy accident T that we ended up here and we will definitely try them again.

What happens when a colonial home which feels like george Washinoton could be strumming through at any moment meets fine Italian cuisine. Welcome to Sotano. The food was awesome--the service sluggish but ok. The veal parmigiana was a little soggy and under seasoned. The feta salad was nicely dressed and well portioned. No browned lettuce and not soggy.

Beet salad

I came here with a friend on Saturday for dinner without a reservation. It's a busy place so we were seated outside. Food 4/5: Sotano's food is pretty solid. - The salads were made with good, fresh ingredients and dressing was OK. I preferred the beet salad to the sotano salad. - the mushroom bisque soup was extremely good. It was our favorite dish - We also got the Octopus appetizer, pasta primavera (not on menu), and swordfish. The pasta primavera was a bit too vegetable heavy but the fish was reasonably high quality and well cooked according to my dining partner Service 3/5: Service was fine but nothing special. One of the heating lamps wasn't working so it was pretty chilly outside.

I enjoy the atmosphere this restaurant has. We ordered as appetizer the grilled octopus. For-my main entree I'm having the lobster omelette. And of course my BloodyMary We received our grilled octopus. Unfortunately it was chewy. Our server took it away to make a fresh one. She was all apologetic. To us that was no big deal. So she brought another octopus. and again it was very chewy. We gave up on having octopus. But my lobster omelette was delicious. I don't hold it against them. Because I enjoy this restaurant. I will still give it a 5 star || This will be my review. My cohort's ended up on my page. Don't know how. It's an adult dining experience, the way dining out was in the old days. Cloth napkins, heavy dinnerware, soft music, and crystal clear glasses. The tables are not one on top of the other. There's a feeling of intimacy and to a degree romantic vibe. There's something for everyone on the menu, and the prices are reasonable. Our server Grazia is very gracious. The seafood risotto was the way I like it. Not too thick or too watery. It's still a 5 star to us. ||

I wanted to make this memorable for all of us. Enter, Danny's Table. This little gem in the Village of Fishkill met every expectation and exceeded them. We took an early dining hour and were seated immediately by Arnoldo, the host, who checked often to assure that we were comfortable and satisfied. We were expertly served by two waitresses, Nayeli and Dyan. And then came the delicious food. The appetizers were so good that I forgot to take pictures of the entrees. I had it all. Great food, great service, and the excellent company I brought with me was already in the bag. I don't know how they could have achieved this level of excellent service and fine dining when they have only been open since September, 2025, but wow! I can only assure you that my siblings and I will be back. And, we will be back soon!

Though he served bread once and never asked if we wanted more! Now for the food The Hanger steak, with Arugula Salad and feta cheese (tasty) fries are French fries nothing special, the Hanger Steak was served medium rare with a bit of Chimichurri ( tasteless) needed salt n pepper, very tiny portion for the price. Duck a l'Orange also kind of small portion and not particularly tasty, served with red cabbage and blood orange au jus!! Shrimp Linguini, nothing out of the world, needed salt n pepper, very bland. Nod for the good, the Cheese Burger and fries was super duper yummy.

Music, drinks, food, atmosphere! One stop shop for a good time! This was my first time going and I will be back! The Service was great! When we ordered our drinks, one of the drinks weren't good, so the waitress took it back with no problem. She was very attentive to us. It was very lively. The colors, the decor, the lighting, everything was perfect! The drinks were good! The presentation was great and tasted soo good! My food was very flavorful, I enjoyed it. My only issue was my rice was warm and so was the pernil. It seemed to be only my plate because I could see the steam from everyone else's plate. The dessert menu didn't have much of a selection. And the options that they did have were very mid! The Flan was just okay. The Churros were a little dry. I didn't try their cheesecake. In my opinion, their thing is food! So, stick to that!

Lastly, there was some weird smell in the restaurant that wasn't food and when I went to the bathroom they had a strong incense burning as if they were attempting to cover up the scent. Don't think I'll be back. The DJ wasn't that good either. Very disappointing.

Update: We went back almost immediately because we couldn't stop talking about the first meal, and…read moresomehow it was every bit as amazing. The lamb shank was absurdly tender, the baba ganoush was smoky and rich, and yes, the ezme, beets, and pita remain mandatory ordering. But what really sets this place apart is the heart behind it. On a hard night for our family, a simple unexpected dessert brought genuine comfort and a smile when we needed it most. They don't just feed your stomach here. They feed your soul. I would go to war for this restaurant. An absolute gem, genuinely some of the best food I've had in the area!! I don't write glowing reviews lightly, but this place absolutely earned one. From the moment the food hit the table, it was obvious this was something special. Every single thing we ordered, from the mezze sampler to the drinks to dessert, felt like the best version of itself it could possibly be. Not one weak note. Even the pita bread was memorable. Warm, soft, fresh, lightly charred, and worthy of praise in a meal FULL of standout dishes. The mezze sampler was EXTRAORDINARY. The beet and goat cheese was one of those bites that makes you stop mid-conversation. The goat cheese was fresh, creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced by roasted beets that were unbelievably sweet and luscious. Honestly, they were almost candy-like. I don't know what they did to prepare them, but they were incredible. The spicy vegetable dip, Esme, was bright, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. Fresh, zippy, and balanced with just enough heat. The eggplant dip was equally impressive, with a silky texture, subtle tartness, mellow tomato notes, and that gentle pleasant bitterness that makes eggplant so satisfying when it's done well. The hummus was ridiculously creamy and rich with tahini, giving it a deep nutty flavor that made it one of the best hummus dishes I've personally had. We also ordered the Turkish manti, and they were fantastic. Little handmade parcels topped with cool yogurt and warm spiced oil that brought everything together beautifully. We didn't even manage to take a picture because by that point we were so completely absorbed in the meal that all manners disappeared and we just devoured them immediately. No photo. No pause. Just instinct. That might be the strongest endorsement I can give. The mint lemonade was perfect for a warm day. Bright, refreshing, tart, cooling, and mint-forward without being overly sweet. It tasted clean, balanced, and incredibly refreshing. Dessert completely sealed the deal. The Turkish revani was unbelievably soft, soaked through with milk, and had that luscious almost tres leches quality that makes every bite melt away. The fresh berries and raspberry sauce gave it just enough brightness and acidity to balance the sweetness beautifully. I had a cup of black tea with it, and the combination of cake, berries, and tea was one of those simple little moments that feels kind of magical. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Tasteful decor, warm atmosphere, and thoughtful design that feels welcoming without trying too hard. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuine. More than anything, the whole place feels like a labor of love. What blows my mind most is that this restaurant has apparently been here for over two years, and we somehow only just discovered it. We were legitimately mad at ourselves thinking about how many meals we could have had here already. Now we're just trying to make up for lost time!! For roughly $80 for two before tip, the value was outstanding. At first glance, the menu might look a little upscale, but once the food arrives, it makes perfect sense. The quality more than justifies the price. I've had good Mediterranean food before. This is operating on a completely different level. Without question, this is some of the best Mediterranean food I've had anywhere in the area, and I can't wait to go back.

The stores next…read moreto them are either empty or closed and the location, it's next to the Home depot, that when you park in front of the place, you feel like you're the only one eating there.. not a good first impression for a good restaurant. We went for dinner at 6 pm on a Saturday, we thought we were the only ones there, again because of the empty parking lot. There were a few people already seated. We didn't have any reservations, and I thought - Why would we? We started with the appetizers, babaganoush and calamari. Both were good. My wife and I had the mixed platter for two. All the meats were tasty, seasoned well and weren't dry. For dessert, I tried the affogato, espresso over ice cream and that hit the spot. Overall, we were impressed. People did start coming in after 6 so it's best to reserve a table especially if you have more than 4 in your party. The don't serve liquor so it's BYOB!! For some, that might be the important thing to note .
