Loved the decor. They have decent size bar which was nice. We were greeted and seated right away. Started with rum punches , freshly prepared and my god were they good. For apps we had with the jerk dry rub wings. So tasty!! I am a bit of a wing snob and these were good. Would def recommend blue cheese vs ranch as dipping sauce but that's just me For dinner we had the jerk chicken and pernil. Love that they have different rice options, white, rice with peas and Moro. Jerk chicken was flavorful. Spicy! Pernil was good. Tender. I enjoyed it. To finish it off we had the in-house Dominican tres leches cake. Amazing so so good. We did also order a beef pattyto try but had to bring that home, was so full! Can't wait to try it tho. Would highly recommend going. They also offered happy hour specials which was great. Vibes were definitely Caribbean and we were loving it.

Here's a Father's Day review:…read more They were kind enough to seat us, but they have really odd hours, especially for Father's Day -- arguably the BIGGEST day of the year for BBQ. We arrived at 3:50 p.m., and they told us that they were closing in 10 minutes. Yikes. A family that arrived after us was turned away. I could see the deep disappointment in their eyes. I can only guess that BEAST doesn't want the business. Again, this was during the afternoon on one of the busiest BBQ days of the year. I.E. This wasn't some slow, late, and empty night. It was a sunny afternoon, and Fishkill's Main Street was hopping and vibrant. The staff did allow us to eat our meal, though, and didn't kick us out, but they were itching to close up shop. I guess they all have better things to be doing. (?) The food was, well, "okay" but overly pricey. The smoked wings are good here. I'll give them that. I would only get those if I ever came again (though the blue cheese dressing was weak). The other food (brisket, sausage, and mac n' cheese) was not poor, but it was also not memorable. Maybe a "C" grade all around? It's a neat spot for drinks (good spirits selection) and wings if you're in the neighborhood and they're open. But double-check their hours before heading out.

It's a very cute restaurant located right next to the theater in downtown. The menu is overall pretty simple, but I think they do classic American food pretty well. The meal probably won't be revolutionary, but a very solid spot for the area and very convenient if you're watching a movie before/after. Food came out relatively quick! We are…read morefrom NYC, and have eaten at some of the "top" Greek restaurants around--House of Stefas surpasses all of them. We came here on a whim after spending the day in the area and we are already talking about coming back to the area, just to eat here. The front of the restaurant could not be prettier, with beautiful decor and torches just beckoning you in. We were immediately greeted by the friendliest hostess and seated in one of their beautiful dining rooms. Their cocktail menu is not something to pass on! I saw that they had an espresso martini on the menu and I asked if they could make it a decaf (if not I gave our server a plan b cocktail). Not only did they deliver (a delicious) decaf espresso martini but they were so enthusiastic about all of their coffee choices! My husband had the Gucci 52 (I of course had a couple of sips) and it was superb. Better than many of the cocktails I have had in several NYC Greek restaurants and so much more creative! Now for the food! We shared the sweet potato hummus, duck kokkinisto and grape leaves stuffed with tuna. I have never seen any of those items on any Greek menu before and duck is one of my favorites! They were all 10/10. The flavors could not be beat and the portions and presentation were all so generous and thoughtful. After experiencing their cocktails and dinner we knew we couldn't skimp on dessert. We shared the custard stuffed phyllo and OH MY GOSH. If you're too full for dessert, make room! Lastly but certainly not least, the servers deserve their own paragraph. We were simply blown away by the professionalism, kindness and passion from our server and other server's we interacted with. We felt so taken care of. We were given our bag of leftovers at the very end of our meal, which is such a nice touch. This level of service is not something you see everyday. Professional but warm, not stuck up, efficient but does not make you feel rushed. This area is worth visiting if only to come here! Thank you for making our experience so memorable.

Babis was fantastic: personable, fun, attentive, and his recommendations were spot on. The meal was outstanding. They also have a wonderful selection of creative non-alcoholic cocktails (pictured), and even the signature House of Stefas ice cubes were a fun detail. We finished with an espresso and cappuccino.. the perfect ending. Another fun surprise: the imported swan faucets in the restrooms. They're a rare and memorable touch. We will definitely be back.

I reminisce arcade video games were always localized at shopping malls. Happy Valley Arcade Bar contains many games and snacks as well as alcohol and non-alcohol drinks are available. There is a coin change machine which was not working. This arcade video game business does contain a bathroom facility. It does provide a temporary mental detox or mental phlegmatic disposition from life's stressors in a casual relaxed atmosphere without judgment and without pressure of looming deadline for quota. There is also a small photo booth which can only fit two people. It was impossible to cramp six adults in this miniscule booth. There is an outdoor patio for seating. I hoped to see Grand Theft Auto, but to no avail. Arcade cabinet games are: Pac-Man 1980 I played for $0.25 and lost at the first round. Donkey Kong 1981 No comment. I did not play. The Simpsons 1991 No comment. I did not play. This depicts violence as Maggie is kidnapped because a large stolen diamond, inadvertently, landed in her mouth during a melee and she begins sucking on it like a pacifier. The rest of the Simpsons family gives a violent chase in pursuit for retrieving Maggie. Mortal Kombat II 1993 No comment. I did not play. Street Fighter II 1993 No comment. I did not play. KungFu Kickball I was on the red team to punch, kick and headbutt a ball into the opponent's bell and won against a good longtime male friend who was on the blue team. The final score 3-2. I feel like Danielle de Barbarac who slaughtered her longtime childhood male friend, Gustave in mud fights. "Boy or girl, I can still whip you!" Danielle de Barbarac in "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" 1998 film. Because the capable woman is never far away as I am right here! Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2002 Wow! This dancing video game reminds me of the movie "The Kissing Booth" which appears exactly as is. Pinball Oh, my inner child surfaces! No comment. I did not play. Pinball games are very classic and simple as the objective are all the same with a carbon steel or chrome steel ball with flippers. It is a game of chance. I would play pinball at outdoor fairs or festivals while eating funnel cake with strawberries. I remember playing Initial D Arcade Stage: Cycraft Edition 2003 where the seat drastically shifted, leaned, and jerked violently sideways to perfectly match the mountain-pass touge drifting mechanics of the motion-simulator racing game. I remember I jackknifed a vehicle! I lost this five minute racing game with my then boyfriend. Disappointedly, this video game cabinet is not available at Happy Valley Arcade Bar.
