I have been a customer for several years. My aunt introduced me to Anna whom I've been seeing for 4-5 years now. I have last minute used other shops when she is busy, but they don't get the job done. Anna is amazing at listening to my needs and does meticulous work. All the ladies that work there are kind and loved by the customers. Been coming here for years, Tina does my mani pedis. Here's the thing: I like my nails short and as a guy, not everyone can do guys nails very well. But not Tina, she's perfect. I've seen many people walk in while I'm there, expect to be able to get right in and you rarely can which then proceeds to people huffing and walking out and sometimes running their mouths. People, there are very few nail salons that take walk-ins post Covid and the ones that do, you're likely going to wait an hour MINIMUM. We live in a different world now and if salons turn people away it's because they don't want to pack people in with the intent of keeping people healthy, maybe it's because they are now short staffed. Regardless, it's their business and news flash: they can run it at their discretion and as they see fit. Plan your nail needs, pick up the phone and make an appointment. If you don't and can't be seen spontaneously, save the attitude and disrespect. Lee has been doing my nails, she's my one and only gal and I adore her. And, she ALWAYS gets me in when I make my appointments. If she isn't available for my pedi's, I go to Tina. And I'm a finicky, finicky female. Been going here for.....3 years, maybe 4? Not super fancy but in exchange, great prices. I'm not one to hop salons and have been very pleased, every time. Another upside to them rarely taking walk-ins: you'll never have to wait. I used to come here when I lived in Phoenix several years back for a while. It was much more consistent then. Since I've been back splitting time down here recently, it's been a total joke. The last couple times I've come in, I have even called ahead for an appointment only to sit there for 15 or 20 minutes upon arrival. Last time I straight up walked out because I did not have time for that. That is the point of making an appointment. The time previous when they actually did do my nails and pedicure, they were so understaffed that I sat around unattended and it took over two hours to complete the whole thing. It's clean and convenient but I won't go back. I'm tired of it and there are too many other places in the area. Give them a skip. read more

This is only my 3rd pedicure in my life. I'm not sure why I have not been doing this all along. The ladies here were awesome and friendly. Everyone in here has a smile. Okay so I went in this salon to get s&s powder and she started doing my nails and I didn't realize she was putting on a gel polish until she did one finger. I then told her I wanted powder and the salon manager said that next time I need to let them know more clearly??? She did not even offer to remove the one nail that had polish on it. It would have been a very easy fix but either she was too lazy to do the powder or they don't want to waste product or what have you. I'm so frustrated. Won't be coming back. I've been to this nail salon a couple of times now. The service is great and the ladies who work there are very nice. The selection of nail colors are quite extensive! There is not a color they do not have. When getting a pedicure, they put limes in the water and have liners. The one aspect that was disappointing is that the chairs were falling apart and the floors were not super clean. Walked in for a gel manicure, nails painted for less than 3 year old & a full set for me. There was not a wait for the manicure or painted nails however there was a 20-minute wait for my full set. Nonetheless, it was a pleasurable wait as the staff were friendly, helpful, and extremely tolerant of my 3 year old who has more energy then a six pack of Red Bull. The service was really good cleaned up all of are cuticles appropriately without cutting or nicking us one time. It was very clean as was the restroom. It was not designed like most nail salons where they are along the perimeter instead they were in the center. It felt very fresh in there. There is ample free parking but none of it is shaded and unfortunately in this heat it would be a nice option. read more

I'm glad I chose to come here despite their rating. I walked in on a Sunday and was greeted and helped right away. The salon is rather larger and looks like they recently did a remodel. I will say with the space they have they can organized the stations better because it is a little tight. Jenny helped me with my gel manicure and was very meticulous which is much appreciated. Her attention to detail was impressive and my nails came out beautiful! I didn't get a pedicure this time but next time I will as I noticed they use fresh lime! I tried to get a simple design today and the technician told me she couldn't. I do respect the fact that she did let me know instead of just messing up my nails. So the space itself is ok... the bug spray sitting out on the counter threw me off a bit but wow! I had my nails done 26 days ago and although they are definitely grown out the gel polish is still holding on strong, impressive. It was busy day but they were able to see me fairly quickly. I am very happy with the operators at DV nail salon. All of the women speak and understand passable English, especially when it pertains to their service. The prices are way less than I used to pay at my hair salon for the same treatments. They do an excellent job, the chairs and pedicure chaises are quite comfortable, and the restroom is okay. I wish I could give them a negative star. The worse nails salon I had been to in a while. I had a gel manicure and spa pedicure done. My pedicure was about 10 min long , the water was cold and the lady seemed like she was rushing ( she cut me on both of my toes). When it comes to the gel manicure she had told me that it will last for about 3 wks and the gel came off after a week. When it comes to my pedicure my both toes got infected and are still blue. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Rushed through my $80 mani/pedi, cutting my nails when I told her multiple times not too. Cut around my nails until they bled on 4 fingers. This was after I told her that it looked fine and she didn't need to do anymore. Then after she slapped on the polish and didn't clean up up before drying it, she FILED THE POLISH OFF MY SKIN. Yes, the nail techs will talk shit about you in their native tongue, but there are 2 techs I never stray from: there's the hot scrappy one with the bad teeth who always wears really cute heels, and then there's Tina, the most awesome nail tech ever. Don't let the anglicized name fool you, she hardly understands a word you're saying, other than the basics, so I don't have to do the small talk thing. I can just zone and enjoy. I love Tina! Not worth my time nor money. Tired this place since it is conveniently located down the street from my parents house but I would not return. Service is bad. I went on a Monday afternoon. Salon was nearly empty and waited 30mins to get my nails done. My mom done with her pedicure and I was still waiting in the chair to start my services. When asked to get them done at the same time, one (Julie) decided to fix the nail polishes instead of do my nails. I've been going to DV for about 2 and 1/2 years now. After testing out most of the manicurists, I've settled on Tina. She does a wonderful job and takes her time. And, I like that she only does mani's and pedi's (no acrylic), so she has really been able to perfect her craft. I don't get acrylics, but if you need a mani or pedi, I recommend requesting either Tina or Amy, and I definitely recommend making an appointment! $33 for a mani and pedi (with french on the pedi)! I've "cheated" on them a few times when I hear of similar nail shops in the area offering specials and mini hot stone massages with a manicure but I always end up back at DV Nail. Their massage chairs are wonderful - strong massagers. You actually feel like you're getting worked on. They're clean, friendly and always do a great job for the price. It's not fancy by any means and I wish they'd turn on the radio instead of the fuzzy TV but they're consistently good. They carry every Essie & OPI color and my manicures always last a long time. A manicure & pedicure is $28 total + tip. I think that's great. I typically request Tina or Julie - they both take their time and do great. Don't be fooled by this place... there's often a long wait. I was pretty disappointed in my experience at DV. I made an appointment for 3 pedicures for 11:15, it was 11:45 before we were all in a chair. Strike one. They started on my friends before coming to me again throwing off the point of making an appointment for 3. Strike two. I opted for the $5 callus remover and she did an extremely poor job my feet are still rough and I can feel all the spots she missed. None of the techs were in the least bit friendly or personable. I clearly stated that I wanted my nails super short. She asked me to be sure and I said, yes, if I'm bleeding they are too short, but otherwise go for it. They didn't get cut short enough, but mainly they were just uneven. Not uneven like the whites were uneven to actually round them correctly, but just uneven. :( Also my cuticles weren't cleaned up well. She did a decent job on my ridges, but overall it was too quick and not thorough. Next time I go I'll have to make an appointment so I be sure to get someone else. read more

In the Nordstrom Last Chance parking lot, this basic pedi for about $20 + tip was not bad for being a walk-in trying to kill time! The interior doesn't have much flair, but my gal was nice and definitely knew how to engage in conversation just the right amount. She talked with her co-workers a bit, but also made me feel comfortable as I read my magazines, conversed a bit and just enjoyed it. I actually would have spent MORE money if they'd asked if I wanted a design or additional add-ons. However, it's nice that they don't pressure you into lots of $5 upsells. (FYI, I didn't see prices posted, so if you have questions, ask! But everything seemed very reasonable.) I'd come back if I was in the area! read more

I went here a few times just because it was conveniently close to my house. My nails turned out okay, but the last time I went was the last time I'll ever walk into this place. After 2-3 weeks, I needed an acrylic fill, and 2-3 weeks is the normal amount of time to come back, as everyone knows. For whatever reason, they decided (without telling me it was going to happen) that all my nails needed to be removed, so the lady took one acrylic nail, shoved it underneath my acrylic nails and ripped them off one by one. It was horrible. And if that isn't horrifying enough, they charged me $10 on top of my fill for the nail removal! Seriously? My nails were sore after that and I knew I wouldn't be going back. I'd recommend you just skip this place. I may pay a few bucks more now, but it's worth the service I get at my new salon. And they'd never rip my nails off like that. Ever. read more
