I was charged $70 for a fill with regular polish... yes, REGULAR polish, not gel. When I asked why it wasn't cheaper, they basically said, "Nope, same price." Honestly, fine... if the work looked like something other than a craft project from a moving bus. Instead, my nails came out in a vampire claw shape, with some of them crooked and pointing in different directions like they were trying to find their own way home. I've had acrylics since the 1990s, and I've never seen anything like it. The staff felt rushed and not particularly friendly, and the salon didn't feel clean. There were bugs flying around, and the strong chemical smell with no ventilation made the whole place uncomfortable. There are plenty of better nail salons in the valley. I'd recommend going anywhere else. read more

Was in town for a few days and went in for a gel pedi and mani. They did such an amazing job and the service was fantastic. I chose a deluxe pedicure that included a foot mask and paraffin with extra massage. Mimi did my hands and she nailed an ombré color that I showed her a picture of. I won't go anywhere else for my nails when I'm in PHX. Great location, friendly staff that always remembers me and gets me in as a walk in, and of course excellent nail work. I do a fill, pedicure, and gel chrome most of time. They always nail it (pun intended) with an excellent pedicure and relaxing leg massage to cap it off. Their new remodel is really nice. It's also cleaner than any other nail salon I've been to -- and I've been to a lot. I've been coming here consistently for a couple of years now when I'm here and I will continue to come back. pretty salon it was my first time in! they do give you 15% off your first visit for trying them out which is cool! Leon was very pleasant. we had good conversation and he addressed , fixed the issues i had instead of telling me i'm wrong. that always makes me feel more comfortable!! Updated.... Manager was extremely helpful and although it took time, fixed all the problems - updated picture attached - beautiful! My daughter who is 12 asked for gel x pink french tip nails, short and almond shape... she got white tip and nails that looked like talons, the nail technician also smudged the white into the pink on the nails - looked awful - went back to ask if they could file them into a shorter, rounder shape more suitable for a 12 year old - I did not even ask them to fix the carnage on the nails - the woman who did the nails was rude and aggressive to the extent that when filing my daughters nails she actually cut her finger. I've attached a picture of one of the nails after it was 'fixed'. read more

Camelback Nail Bar has been so great with scheduling and keeping appointment times (when it comes to nail salons this can be the exception). I also love that they do manicures from the spa chair- extra time to relax with less moving around the salon. The staff is friendly, collaborative with one another and organized. read more

I had $150 bill for 2 mani/pedi's. One for myself & the other, for a 13 old. The aesthetician kept his head turned looking up at the wide screen tv as he was doing the 13 yr old. Mine just didn't seem very interested. It was the most lackluster pedicure I've e ever had. 3 days out, nails chipping off 4 fingers & I have the week off & literally doing zero work. Salon is clean & lovely but overpriced for the services I rarely leave a negative review but for this amt of $$$, seriously, put more effort into it. read more

I will say that I love Camelback nail bar but wanted to warn you all about nail design costs... my husband paid the bill while I was still getting my nails done. We left and I asked him what the total was... on top of my fill I was charged $27, yes TWENTY SEVEN dollars for this!! Unreal. I turned around and went inside and said, was there a mistake, this checkered design was $27!! He said yes. I have had very intricate designs on more fingers and paid less than $27. So just beware on the MASSIVE up charge if you want a nail design. And for $27 EXTRA dollars I would at least expect clean lines and the sides of my nails to be cleaned up. read more

I went yesterday for a pedicure and paid extra for callus removal, the technician did the treatment and recommended that I moisturize. I came home and moisturized just to find a few hours later that the heel of my foot was still cracked and starting to peel with dead skin all over. I came back the next day so they could fix it and when the front desk guy saw it he said that it is considered an open wound. Which it clearly was not (there was absolutely no blood or open/raw skin showing). He then proceeded to defend himself by saying they would not be able to treat it. I told him the last time I did the same treatment with the same callus remover and they removed all of it, his reply was "it's great that you had a good experience in the past, but every technician is different" . After he continually repeated the same excuse, he finally said I will just refund the callus treatment. To sum up, I would just have expected better customer service instead such a pushback to fix a mistake on their part. BTW, when I told him that he saw me sitting yesterday in that specific chair, his reply was that he wasn't there yesterday, then later retracted the statement and said he was there for a little bit. read more

I had high hopes for this place because of the amazing reviews and photos of beautifully done nails but my experience was horrible. I chose this place for my wedding nails horrible decision because it's one day later and the gel on my toes already fell off. They told my sister she couldn't get any design on her nails because she didn't make an appointment in which she did and then he took 3 people prior to us due to the whole design argument. We were kind patient and respectful and treated as if we were nothing. The lady who did my nails the design is so sloppy and my nails are so thin I fear they might fall off before my wedding this week. The lady who did my pedicure was so sweet I wish I remembered her name but the experience other than her was not one I was satisfied with. read more

I went in because it was close to the hotel I was staying at. Very clean and friendly was what I got on first impressions I showed the nail tech Jamie the inspo pic I had in mind (I know not everything would look like the picture) I ended upleaving with base coat on an uneven & crooked nails IE: Photos attached. Also I have family friends who are Vietnamese and I know when I am being insulted .... just on body language alone. But saying the F word in Vietnamese was when I drew the line. I don't believe in walking out without paying Because karma is a B word.... but I will take to these platforms to let people know not to even take your hard earned money to this establishment . I was also charged 30$ for a custom design but how ... I left with 0 polish. Final impression is impatient know it all & rude . Why would you even charge me if my service isn't even finished I was there 4 hours in total. Ended up leaving because I was tired of the BS. read more

This nail salon used to be good until the owner hired a woman named Kristy. She is combative and has a major attitude. She was busy talking to a co-worker, and not paying attention, and proceeded to hurt me. Rather than apologize, she started fighting with me and said it was my fault. Two friends of mine had similar experiences and we've all switched places. The owner is fake nice and seems fine allowing this treatment of paying customers. read more

Over $30 for a simple gel polish change only to have the gel start peeling off within an hour not to mention just overall sloppy work. After telling the lady to clean up this and that around my nails so many times I was done. I literally had to go to target and buy nail polish and a file to cover up the areas where the gel was not cured and started peeling because it was too late to go back and I was only in town for work for 1 day. read more

This place is incredibly overpriced for the service provided. I got a gel manicure and classic pedi and it was all over under 45 minutes. Mani and pedi were done at the same time so super efficient, but not the most relaxing. Also, the quality was subpar. I asked the nail technician to fix an obvious chip while I was on the chair but he told me nothing was wrong and just added more top coat. I am pretty sure this polish will not last long and really disappointed since I spent $100 on my toes and nails. read more
