I can't recommend Emily enough! She is truly amazing at what she does. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and completely at ease. Her technique with sugaring is gentle yet super effective--my skin has never felt smoother, and the results last so much longer than other methods I've tried. Not only is she skilled, but she's also incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. She takes the time to explain the process, checks in often to make sure I'm comfortable, and uses high-quality products that leave my skin glowing. The space is clean, relaxing, and beautifully maintained, which just adds to the overall experience. If you're considering sugaring, do yourself a favor and book with Emily. She's the best in the business, and I'm so glad I found her! read more

Adriana is the best sugar/wax technician I have ever been to. She is lovely and kind and eliminated anything that I find uncomfortable about the services in general. I normally wouldn't sign up for a membership, but it was such a seamless experience I couldn't not. This company is very lucky to have her and if she ever started her own thing she will do very well!! read more

Love coming here and doing a bit of self care. The sugar experience is worth it, especially since my sharper hairs have grown less razor sharp. I especially love coming to Danielle, the chatting makes the vibes much more relaxing. Totally recommend. read more

I love Sugar Sugar, I have been coming to this location since early 2023 and I have never had a bad experience. I love the vibes, the music is always great and most importantly the services they provide are top-notch! I get my spray tans, all my sugaring needs, facials and so does my husband! (Yes the spray tans too) I tell all my friends about this place so they can break up with their other WAXING places and start sugaring! read more

I have to say this was by far the best sugaring experience I've ever had. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. I had Danielle do my sugaring and she was quick, thorough, and so easy to relax for during the process. The vibe was so chill. I loved it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing sugaring experience. read more

I had my first tan at Sugar Sugar last Thursday. First I would like to say that their booking staff is very forgiving and lovely. Since I was a first time tanner, I had no idea what I needed to do and did not realize I needed to get my nails done beforehand. I got there 20 minutes early expecting to wait, and they took me in right away! I was very happy. The staff explained to me what was going to happen and I felt very informed and comfortable. The price is a little high, but the fact it's organic and smells amazing makes it worth it. I'm on day 5 and it's looking amazing still! read more

I'm from out of town and my eyes were bothering me from eyelash extensions I got a little over a week ago. I was going to wait until I got home to get them removed. I could not take the discomfort any longer and I called Sugar Sugar PHX to see if the could get me in. I made my appt for within the hour. When I arrived, I was greeted very warmly. My esthetician, Abby, was told about my issue before I came in which was great. She answered all my questions before we got started because if I was going to do extensions again I wanted to be sure I was not going to have the same issues. One of the owners, Will, was also there and let me know I was in good hands. She was able to remove my old extensions, that were causing me so much discomfort, with some ease. She was so great and made the whole experience comfortable and fun. She took her time insuring I would not have the same issue as before with a whole new set. I LOVE HER WORK. My eyes have zero discomfort and my lashes look great!! Their products are wonderful as well. Lashes to beauty products. Thank you Abby and Will for being so kind and welcoming!! I will definitely be coming back when I visit PHX! read more

I had my first sugaring experience here this past Friday and I'll honestly say I'm never going back to regular waxing again! Adriana was my sugar specialist and she took amazing care of me. Not only was she professional but the service was quick and almost near painless in my opinion! It's been 4 days since my Brazilian appointment and my bikini area is still silky smooth. The staff is super knowledgeable and they have great products that are very natural and great for your skin. Based off my first experience and the results I'll be seeing the girls at sugar sugar many more times in the future! read more

This place is awesome! I got my first "bro"zilian by Kenzea! I was super nervous thinking that it was going to be very painful and awkward. Not at all. Kenzea was very professional, personal and extremely knowledgeable. She just kept the conversation going and before I knew I was done and felt great. She gave me plenty of after care advice which is working great. The Healing Lavender Colloidal Mist is a great product as well. I am definitely a believer and fan now of sugaring. I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you Kenzea!!! read more

I liked the face sugaring facial but I wasn't thrilled about the results of my other services. I don't think it removes thin hair.

Best sugaring experience in 15 years! I literally have been waxing or sugaring for over 15 years and this was the most comfortable and least painful Brazilian ever. Also, they are the first to actually use sugar on my upper lip, which was great because it was the first time I didn't have to deal with my lip breaking out after. Sierra was awesome and friendly without being phony. We just moved to AZ and this place is a lucky find for me!!! A little crowded in the room but it works! read more

Sugar Sugar is the newest addition next to my work place so I had to go and see what they offered. I work at a hair salon so we always are getting asked for suggestions on lashes, tanning, eyebrows etc. I went on my bday for a tan and I have to say Aimee the owner was amazing. Great customer service and also a very cool Personality. I got an express tan and I loved it! They use apple or pear sugar so I never got orange or smelled funny! It was perfect. I loved that she focused on my shoulders, it looked very natural and she also protected my hands and feet so no weird coloration was present. I will definitely be back for more tans and explore more of their services as well! Oh and she also took $5 off for my bday!! Score!! read more

Cydnee B. Needs help! Very upset with the turnout from my visit. I showed her what I wanted removed and she did the complete opposite. She should know basic shape and evenness. Get her some training. read more

New to the area and was looking for a waxing replacement. Thought I'd try sugaring. Spent an hour and 10 minutes for my arms and nose. Cost me $100 with the tip. They didn't even sugar my hands. I'll go back to California once a month to my regular gal. $160 head to toe in 90 minutes. The gal that sugared me was very nice. Ridiculous pricing and waste of time. read more

I love this place! I have been coming since last June and don't plan on stopping. Every time I come I am satisfied! Cyd makes me feel so comfortable and I love our convos. She educates me, while doing a great job. Their products are awesome, and I appreciate the friendliness whenever I come. I hope one day to see sugar sugar in chandler but for now the drive is worth it! read more

Everyone at Sugar Sugar is so nice! I'm new to sugaring but I'm definitely sold. The results are nicer and last longer than my traditional wax experiences. Cydnee was awesome and very accommodating. She made my experience seamless. They have great skin products as well. I took home some of their exfoliating sugar scrub and it definitely helped with ingrowns and smells so good! read more

In my opinion, sugaring is much less painful than traditional waxing. My skin is sensitive and I have less redness afterward and no longer have an issue with ingrown hairs. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. There is a discounted rate if you come in every 5 weeks for your treatment. read more

My experience with the staff at Sugar Sugar was great. The salon is very cute, easy to locate, and impeccably clean. Unfortunately, I developed pretty extensive bruising after receiving a sugared Brazilian. I have received this service once before at another salon without this adverse reaction. Not sure if it's me or the technique that was used, but it's not pretty...UPDATE: The owners of the salon contacted me and apologized for my first visit. I was invited to return to have my service performed again and had an excellent experience. I also had my brows sugared and tinted. Both turned out great and I will most certainly be returning. read more

I was a first timer this summer and was extremely nervous to get a Brazilian. Especially by myself because of COVID restrictions. I was immediately welcomed by Kamryn. Not only are the facilities super clean and adorable, I didn't even get a chance to sit down and wait before they took me back to start my appointment. I've heard great things about every girl here but Kamryn went above and beyond to mentally prep me for everything. She took the time to get to know me and ask non intrusive questions about myself. Because of this, I was able to be myself and felt comfortable with the genuine distraction. She reminded me that this appointment would probably be the most painful and the rest will feel significantly easier. When she followed up with a call for my next appointment, she was sure to ask about the vacation I was so excited about. I finally had the chance to go back in today and she remembered every last detail of our first conversation. She is so educated in her craft, extremely talented, and was still the super nice girl I remembered her to be. My second appointment was painless just like she promised and even though the pricing is a little out of budget, feeling valued as a customer is worth the whole experience. Sugar Sugar made me feel cared for during a lonely pandemic. Their appointments are quick but it's enough time to feel like you just spent an entire brunch bonding with your best friend. I will be a returning customer for as long as I live in Phoenix. read more

Tried this place for the first time ever. I will say I will no longer be waxing, this is much better and less painful. The owner and Kenzea were very nice and friendly. I have already referred friends & family and my next appointment is already booked. So glad I heard of this place. read more

I had a great first experience sugaring with Adriauna. I'd never waxed before, so I was a little nervous. She made me feel comfortable and was easy to talk with. I did my upper lip and it was super fast. I wouldn't say it was entirely painless but the sting was very quick and faded immediately. I didn't have any redness or inflammation, so that was a plus. Looking forward to continuing to use their services! read more

As a licensed esthetician since 2002, I'm so happy that sugaring has landed in Central Phoenix. This Uptown location offers professional and genuine service style, where staff thoroughly educates each client on this alternative (and least painful) method of hair removal. Everyone I've seen here has made me feel comfortable and relaxed each time! Online booking is available and services are affordable complete with loyalty perks. read more

Friendly staff, but would not suggest getting eyelashes done here. I came in because my normal lash place didn't have any evening hours and found sugar sugar on yelp. I noticed they had good reviews and also that I didn't come across any lash reviews, but gave it a try anyway. That being said, they only had single lashes and the adhesion was terrible, way too much was used which clumped my natural lashes together ( which I am stuck having to grow out)The lashes were also not applied on the inner half of the lash line as they should have been. When it comes to lashes a lack in quality is just not an option, I recommend choosing different place for this service. read more

I came here to get my spray tan for senior ditch day/prom, and I wanted to try something new. I understand that this is a temporary location, but I struggled to find it and there was barely any parking. I got my spray tan and it looked like I had freckles all over me. When I asked the lady about it, she said that they would wash off. I showered the next morning and most of these dots came off, but my arms and hands still had the dots all over them and were super blotchy!! I have had several spray tans before and this has never happened to me. The overall application was super uneven and I looked a little bit orange. My legs are way darker than the rest of my body and my chest barely looks like it was sprayed. I just can't get over how bad my arms look. If they weren't as splotchy as they are, I wouldn't be mad about the spray tan.The only positive about this that I have is that the staff was friendly. read more
