My deep tissue massage was mainly rocking and stretching techniques. Then I was recommended yoga and an epsom salt bath to enhance my experience... However my mom loved her session experience. I went to the spa for a facial with Lizbeth. I have been getting facials since my 20s (I'm 50 now), and this was one of the best facials I've ever gotten. I got the signature facial with LED light therapy. Lizbeth is one the best aesthetician I have gotten a facial from. She explained what she was doing throughout the facial. Her techniques were so relaxing. The facial included a mini massage to the arms, hand, shoulders, and scalp, and it felt heavenly. The facial was an hour long. The LED light therapy was about 15 minutes. The entire service felt like it was hours long because it never felt rushed. Once it was over, I felt relaxed, and my skin looked amazing. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this spa and Lizbeth if you're looking to get an amazing facial with an amazing aesthetician. read more

I love this place! I have severe bruxism (clenching/grinding of teeth & jaw) and I heard that Botox in the masseter muscle is a good treatment for that. I was pretty scared to be honest. But, I went for it anyhow. Nurse Ashelee took care of me. She was very sweet. She talked me through the process and she was very gentle. I hardly felt a thing. About 5 days after my treatment I felt a big difference. I wasn't clenching during the day and I noticed that I wasn't waking up with a sore jaw or headaches after grinding all night. The decision to get Botox has been a game changer for me! I highly recommend both Body Beautiful Spa and Ashelee!!! And, about a couple weeks after the Botox in my masseter, I decided to go in for a lip flip - more Botox! The result is subtle but I absolutely love it! I'll definitely be considering more Botox treatments and maybe lip filler! 10/10 would recommend!!! read more

I was interested in Juvéderm and Botox the Injector recommended threading. Which I felt she was trying to up Sell I have no drooping sagging or jowls. Honestly my experience here was pretty bad. I spent ~$300 for ineffective Dysport injections for my eleven lines. This was for an initial visit and a "corrective" visit. The worst part was dealing with the owner. It was like fighting tooth and nail trying to get a refund for my money down the drain. She kept on hounding me to come in for another "corrective" visit even though clearly the technique was ineffective (and wasn't going to be changed) and I didn't want any more Dysport pointlessly injected into my face. The problem was the placement. The injector was only injecting in between my brows and not along the brow itself. After about 5 phone calls - which were pretty much debates - I got sent a $75 check to cover a corrective visit at a new spa. Spoiler alert: that barely covered half. My sister, my niece and I went in for a spa day and did not leave disappointed. We all received facials and massages. Everything was very relaxing however the massage was the best part. I just asked for a standard Swedish massage but I feel like I received so much more than I was expecting. After talking with my sister and niece, they too felt the same. Our massages included nonstop all over body motion and continuous stretching! Wow-what a difference it made. Sure, they focused on our areas of concern but from our cranial to tippy toes, every part was paid attention to. We had never had the stretching incorporated into a massage and I would highly recommend it! We left feeling refreshed and energetic instead of lethargic. I came for my usual amount of Botox, however this time after 2 weeks there was zero result - my forehead/eye area were literally the exact same as the day I went in. So I called and the receptionist told me to come back in and there would be a note on my account that this needed to be taken care of. When I went back in the injector told me I needed almost the same amount of units that I had already received 2 weeks before and it would cost me $300 (I had already paid $400 the first time).... Really unhappy. I've used a variety of other services like lash extensions, lash lift and tint, body scrubs, and massages, so I recently tried their Botox. The woman had very little time with me and despite wanting half the number of units she convinced me I should get more because it would give a better result. I had researched laser skin rejuvenation so thought it would be ideal. I have wrinkles around eyes and some sagging neck and facial skin I paid for 2 treatments of neck and face laser skin rejuvenation (4) total. Along with products sold to treat skin after procedures and daily. Procedures were painful but I will do anything for vanity. I was told it could take months before I would see result. It upsets me to leave this kind of review after my experience with this place because I try my best to give places and people the benefit of the doubt but I feel it's necessary in case someone is considering this establishment. Please, take your money elsewhere. I was given a gift certificate to get a massage by my boyfriend as I have severe arthritis and I've been wanting to take a day off work to fully relax and enjoy it. When I first called to schedule my appointment, the girl who answered sounded very short and as if she didn't want to be on the phone. I told her I was calling to schedule an appointment and she put me down for 2:00. She never asked what I was looking to come in for or even explained anything. This was my first time, so I was unsure what the process was so it was partially my mistake for not asking what the process was and assumed I had to go in and tell them what I wanted. I arrived 30 minutes early. The greeting I received was awkward but I gave them my name. I was told to have a seat but I was confused about doing so without filling out paperwork so I asked if I was to do so. The girl was like, "Oh yeah, here you go..." As I'm filling out the paperwork, I begin to realize that none of the questions seemed to pertain to the service I wanted. At one point, I asked her if I had the correct paperwork but then dismissed it because I saw questions asking about allergies so I figured maybe I was ocerthinking things.... I was utterly confused but did not want to seem like I was nitpicking so I handed over the paperwork and took a seat. I got called back by a nice woman and she said, "So is this your first time having a microdermabrasion?" I immediately let out a "whoa" and explained the miscommunication done by the front staff and told her I only wanted a massage and that I didn't even know what a microdermabrasion was, and that I was scheduled for this without being asked what I wanted. She looked upset but reassured me we would go to the front desk to get what I wanted. I apologized to her because I felt terrible that she could have had a client for her services but instead, didn't because of what happened! So off to the front desk we go and I explained what the situation was. They apologized and told me to come back at 4 pm for a hot stone massage that I wanted. I was worried at this point and didn't even want to return but I did and wish I had just stayed at home instead. The massage was okay and the woman who did it tried her best to make me feel relaxed and less tense from my arthritis. I did NOT get the hot stone treatment. Instead I got charged for the hour long massage ($89) and didn't even get the remaining amount left over from the $100 gift certificate. To be honest, I don't even want it. After my experience that was supposed to be relaxing, welcoming and stress free, I left trying not to be that rude and upset customer even though I was trying to hold back frustration and tears, and left with the intention of never coming back or recommending this place to anyone! Also, ALWAYS check the reviews on yelp instead of putting your trust into the reviews left on Google. Completely misleading and after reading the reviews on here, I can say the reviews on poor customer service is very spot on and accurate. First impressions are everything and my experience here was enough to make me want to speak out and warn others!! read more

I saw LaDonna in March and the massage was great, we actually talked majority of the service which I wasn't used to but she was great overall and helped me relax. With a little extra $ left on a certificate I decided to schedule another prenatal massage with LaDonna for May. I was scheduled for a Saturday but she said she might be able to get me in on a Friday. This was told to the staff booking me as well and she asked them to make a note in the system as well. I followed up on the note twice prior to May but never got a definite answer about accommodating the request. Fast forward to today, the date of my appointment. I hadn't gotten a confirmation call yesterday about today's appointment so I decided to call and confirm myself. This is when I learned I was on a "waitlist" and not actually scheduled. Due to reasons out of Body Beautifuls control (LaDonna hadn't confirmed her work schedule), my appointment was just floating around. Twice they were supposed to call me back with an update but I ended up calling instead (my appointment was at 9, but 8:50 they still hadn't called) While I understand they have no control over an employees choice to work a specific schedule, I do feel I should have been contacted and offered an alternative solution but instead I was doing all of the calling (4 times to be exact) and asking all of the questions. It was very unprofessional and upsetting given that I booked this appointment in March and had adjusted my morning around it. Now I have a credit at the spa and can't say I'm certain I will be using it. Also I was expecting something different for a spa in the Arcadia area, it could use a bit of refreshing but the services provided make up for its appearance I suppose. read more

They changed hands recently. It was great before, we've gone here for 3-4 years, but they are now diluting all the Botox/Dysport . They said they "changed the reconstitution ratio" lol. First visit under "new ownership" they had to recalculate everything which was the first red flag... My wife and I both came back less than a month after injections when it lasted 3-4 months before the business changed hands. The injector got SUPER obviously awkward when confronted. Save your money. Reason for 3 stars is because the ownership doesn't enforce masks on premise or more accurately doesn't have any to use when needed, at least not when I visited. Went in there last week to get a facial and kindly asked from the person doing my facial (wasn't Melody) to wear a mask because I obviously can't wear any if they are working on my face but I have a baby at home and there is a new Covid variance out there so... the girl left the room and after some time of just sitting there waiting, an office staff personnel walked in (not the girl who was supposed to do the facial) to tell me and she was very nice about it that they don't enforce masks nor have any to use. Let's forget about Covid and your freedom to do whatever you want at your private business for a second; a spa that offers injectables and what not should have masks! And I'm sorry but if you're working that close on my face whether it's facials or eyelash extension then you should wear a mask, it's hygiene and the right thing to do. read more

Just seen that this place had changed hands, which might explain my experience. I always thought the massages here were good quality and a decent alternative to the luxury resorts in terms of value. However, my last two experiences have been disappointing. One masseuse had me on my back for a prenatal massage until I asked to adjust and another really barely massages at all, just rubbed (despite my asking for more pressure). I had specifically requested an excellent masseuse I had had in the past and was told she was a temp/fill in. I was assured the lady I was given was experienced with prenatal - which I very much don't believe to be true. Staff are friendly. My suspicion is that this is a better alternative for spa treatments and cosmetology, not so much massages anymore. read more

I took my girlfriend here recently for a "girl's spa day." My girlfriend had a great experience with Carmen and said she really liked her and would definitely go back and see her. My appointment was with Stephanie and it was really bad and disappointing. My friend was greeted for her appointment promptly at 12:30. At 12:45 I confirmed with the receptionist that my appointment was also at 12:30 as no one had come to get me for my appointment yet. The receptionist said she would call my aesthetician since she hadn't arrived. At that point I was really annoyed that she wasn't even at the spa yet for her 12:30 appointment at 12:45? She finally rushed in the door at 12:50 with no apologies. I told the receptionist I wanted to reschedule since my appointment was starting so late and my girlfriend would have to be waiting for me afterwards. I went ahead with the facial and I really wish I would not have. Stephanie tried explaining to me that her equipment wasn't working but I really didn't care. It was really rude of her to be late and not apologize for it and if her equipment was broken she should have arrived early! Stephanie was really unprofessional and didn't really seem to know what she was doing. My skin type is obviously sensitive and she put a peel on my face that burned and left my skin really red. She offered to use the dermaplane on me in hopes to "compensate" but there is no way I would go back and see her. She made my experience there really disappointing. I will probably go back to Body Beautiful but I will be sure to AVOID Stephanie at all costs.
