I used to recommend this business to people in the Arcadia area but I won't anymore. I had some not-so-great customer service from them in the past but let it go as I assume maybe the receptionist was just grumpy and having a day. But it was on more than one occasion. It seems like they're annoyed if you ask questions. Which is usually what people do when they are uneducated about what you're asking and get uncomfortable. I was asking the receptionist who the first tech was that I saw who moved and then came back. Instead of making it a smooth conversation by just looking at my past appts to see who my techs were, she said, "do you remember their name?" No I just know it was the first girl I saw." "Ok well you've seen 3". Ok so the first tech." It was just going back and forth like she wanted to make things difficult and to keep asking me questions guessing the name of the techs. So I asked her if she could read me the names of the techs so I'm not guessing. Why do people purposefully make things more difficult? I am a Fitzpatrick 4 and when I called to ask about the Fitzpatrick scale, the girl didn't know what a Fitzpatrick scale was. Not a good sign. I only decided to come to hello laser for the specific laser GentleMax-Pro and they are extremely close to where I live. So basically out of convenience I'll give them a go. It wasn't until I called about one of my last appts out of 6 to see how long I should be off hydroquinone before doing laser. She didn't know what that topical cream was, which is shocking as it's a BIG contraindication with laser. She said, "I'm sure 48hrs is good." I said, "oh wow, really? Only 48hrs? Are you able to ask to make sure? I don't agree with guessing when it comes to laser and people's skin." She abruptly repeated again, "48 hrs." So I decided to wait 2 weeks to be sure and then go in for my laser. Glad I did. The lack of education and care of their customers, is frightening. Be careful customers. Laser is not a device to play around with. Once something goes wrong it's nearly impossible to undo. With laser studios, you sign your life away so they can't and won't be held responsible if something goes wrong. Even if they guided you incorrectly. Those girls have way too much downtime and not having enough knowledge. Maybe they should be studying so they can learn proper contraindications with medications and devices before booking anymore appts. And stop arguing with customers. It's extremely unprofessional. read more

I'm VERY much into the BEST customer service, best solutions. and best pricing...and I received all 3 plus the bonus of a beautiful and clean interior. So here I am letting you know that Erica (supervisor) was so kind, the receptionist was super adorable, and Dr. Kira was very professional, gentle, and informative. I felt very safe and comfortable receiving a brand new service (filler) and I am EXTREMELY happy with my results. I was scared because I've seen what I would deem as disaster-results on other people from OTHER medical professionals, but I chose Hello Laser based on the before and after photos, the phone conversation I had with Hayley (the Scottsdale supervisor...Phx is closer to me so I chose the Phx location), and the conservative approach! This review is long over due (sorry Erica)! I wrote a stellar review a couple years ago about Hailey who was the initial woman that I started working with for my tattoo removal sessions, which was a process that I began 2.5+ years ago, but today I'm writing a review about Erica and her side kick Sharon who I have been working with for the past I want to say several months (give or take)? Erica is exceptional. Hands down. Her work is not only extremely quick and efficient, but she has an extensive knowledge of how to use the laser, different techniques, numbing agents, and after care ect. Honestly, since Erica has been working on me, my tattoo has faded immensely, not to mention that Sharon assists her since it's such a huge piece and such a long session each time (it's my entire back, neck and shoulders). Sharon holds the cooling device and both of them together are like a dream team!!! Erica is always, without a doubt, super accommodating, pays very close attention to detail, she is clearly incredible at her craft and honing in on her skillset, and she maintains extreme professionalism, as well as such a genuine caring and thoughtful demeanor. Although I began with Hailey who like I have stated before was incredible through and through, and then I moved to Emily who was absolutely lovey as well (and I worked with her for several months to a year too), I will say, Erica has been a champ, especially since she has gone out of her way to make sure Sharon is available when I come in so that they can work together as Erica uses the laser and Sharon assists with the cooling device. All of the staff I have worked with consistently for the past 2.5+ years now (every 10-14 weeks) have been incredible. I can't recommend a better place in the valley to get a tattoo removal done. This is no small feat either, when I tell you it's my entire back, neck and shoulders...I'm not kidding. Erica, I can honestly say I love you! Hahah! I have been to this location multiple times in the past and am extremely dissatisfied with a recent experience. I submitted a request online over the weekend for an appointment for this afternoon. Only today, Tuesday, at 8 AM was the appointment verified for this afternoon. At this point that time won't work so I called to reschedule the appointment for Friday. After doing so and without being informed I was charged $30. I called back and was directed to voicemail once. I called back again and reception picked up the phone and pretended they didn't hear me then hung up on me. I called back a third time and was told I was being charged a no show fee even though I had just called to reschedule. I have done extensive business with Hello Laser over the years and this experience is completely different from positive experiences I've had in the past and in all likelihood I will not return as a customer for any services in the future. read more

I've been coming here for years. So when I found out they opened up a location near the Biltmore I was like ...Yessssss!! Even closer to home, honey. Thanks to these fine people my legs are silky smooth. Every now and again when I need a touch-up these gals save the day. It's always easy in and easy out. My only suggestion would be to make sure the signage is better. This place is a total maze. (not being sarcastic). Sure, you can see the sign from the road. Staff is super friendly and pricing is fantastic compared to the competition. But, even more so, their integrity is off the charts. I walked in an she told me straight away I looked to blonde for the treatment to work. Laser apparently only works well on darker hair. She tried, and she told me laser wasn't a good fit for me. I've been coming to the Biltmore location for a few years and have had different areas of the body treated with great results (just be aware that each area takes multiple treatments to have all the hair stop growing). The girls that work there are extremely friendly, polite and make the experience comfortable. Even when taking care of awkward body parts, they put you at ease. Laser for Less is my go to! I had been going to LaserAway for over a year until I switched and started going to Bethany at the Laser for Less Phoenix location. A week after I started going to Laser for Less I saw more hair removal (almost completely gone) than the entire year that I had been going to LaserAway! LaserAway always left spots unlasered and Bethany is very thorough, makes you feel very comfortable, and is very knowledgeable about the laser, after care, etc. I've been back about 4 or 5 times and each time I am more happy with my results! What can I say, I showed up today (without an appointment, my total bad) and the staff there took me right in like I had been an established customer. They did the obligatory paperwork and she got me right in for a three area treatment. The office was immaculate and cozy and the price? Very very reasonable. I came in today for a treatment with Kristin. She did a better job than my last sessions with Bethany. She took better care to not miss any spots and showed much more respect for safety protection. She's nice to talk to and knows a few tricks to distract you from the pain. She'll communicate with you through every second of the treatment, so you'll always know exactly what's going on. She gave me confidence in this treatment and I look forward to returning for the next session. We took a minute to discuss the concerns I had. Unfortunately, I don't think she's a good listener. It's like it went in one ear and out the other. But that is no concern to me, all I care about is the quality of the treatment and I think you can find it with Kristin. Sooooove much better than waxing and half off any area for life after 10 visit!!! I've been going here for a couple of years and I will never go back to waxing.
