I came in early August and am still thinking about it.. especially because my nails are breaking from how thin they are as a result of the service I received. My nails immediately felt thin from the excessive filing that was done to remove my polish, and look unfinished with polish on my fingers and skin hanging off of my cuticle area. We were told the wait for a manicure and pedicure would be about 10 minutes, which we were perfectly fine with. After waiting patiently, another guest who had just walked in mentioned she was in a rush due to her lunch break, and she was taken ahead of us. While we understand accommodating customers when possible, it was disappointing to be overlooked after already waiting. I did speak with the staff and received an apology, but we ultimately chose to leave. After looking at the reviews and photos I was excited to come here, but I was really disappointed with my service today. I did a walk in appointment, so of course I didn't expect to be seen right away. But I was told it would be a 25 minute wait. It was not at all a 25 minute wait, it was about an hour of a wait. I had asked a few times if it was still going to be a while and each time was told it would just be a few minutes. I got a classic manicure with regular polish and it was very poorly done - the polish is coming up in layers and just looks messy. I also did not get the hand massage that comes with a classic manicure. After my nails were done being painted, my nail tech just got up and told me to wait 10 minutes before I leave and pay. I kindly asked for a refund since I have a busy schedule and don't have time to come in and get them fixed and texted pictures of the nails to the manager, but was told that their policy is that there are no refunds allowed /: super disappointing experience from start to finish! read more

I have been going to this place for a month give or take. Every time I have went, it's been a really great experience. However Saturday April 19th was probably one of the worse days I have ever experienced with this seemingly nice shop. On April 19th, Saturday I and two others were assaulted by other customers in the nail shop. The nail shop did nothing to stop the escalation of the situation. Nor did they take the necessary steps to ensure everyone else's safety. They left it up to customers to call the police. Unfortunately this situation has not been resolved by Phoenix police. Now due to this altercation, I had left and came back to get my nails done. Not only was the service rushed, my nails didn't last a week before they started to break or seemingly pop off. I work a very low maintenance job, and have had my nails done by them and they last well over 2 weeks. I feel that the altercation resulted in poor service. I felt rushed, and the set received literally in my eyes were just a press on nail set. Hence them coming off well before 2 weeks. If you decide to get your nails done here, be warned they do not protect or abide by any social policies geared for their customers comfort and safety. Wouldn't recommend moving forward. I decided to try this place on a whim and in a hurry. I was a walking and they got me in immediately for a manicure. My tech was very nice, however I expected a typical manicure: remove the old, cut cuticles, lotion etc... my old gel was removed, lightly shaped then 'gel builder' put on. Nothing else. Did each nail then cured each individually. I do like the color however for the $65 service I expected a bit 'more' ie massage, lotion, cuticle etc... the norm as far as I'm aware. Seems a bit steep for a polish change to me. Paid and tipped 20% but they didn't even offer water on a 118* day and their site says they serve alcohol even. I've given this shop chance after chance. Receiving services from a different nail tech every time. Please I'm BEGGING everyone to not waste their money on acrylics here or gel X nails here. Everytine I come they do a rushed job, nails come out looking crooked, they nickel and dime everything, charging $20 extra for gel, $20 extra for French. Since when is a full over $100???? It's pretty much robbery. I went in last week for an acrylic removal because once again I made the mistake of coming here and my nails were already lifting and looking busted after only 2 weeks. They charged me $15 for the nail removal. Not to mention, the nail tech didn't give me a soak off, she was too lazy and pryed the acryics off using another nail. I went in today got a full set sns and pedicure as well as my daughter got a fill and French. My nails are horrendous. They are not shaped properly, are uneven and sloppy. The gentleman who did them never asked me what shape I wanted and then cut them so short I had no choice but to get them square. I ask for slightly round edges as I do not even like square. It took him 1 1/2 hours and for me and my daughter I paid $185. This is insane! I don't even like them and no one cared. It appears they have more experience nail techs but this man was NOT that. As a man I was pretty insecure the first time I walked into Luxe for a pedicure. I quickly realized nobody looked at me funny or thought it was weird. The staff here was all very professional and the atmosphere inside is really cool. High ceilings, good lighting, and a lot of space so you don't feel trapped. When they sat me down the massage chair, I was sure I'd made the right decision! I chose to go with the deluxe pedicure which involves a sugar scrub, 10 minute massage, hot stone rub, and some sort of mask. I asked them if I could avoid the foot mask and they were more than happy to oblige. The whole experience lasts about 40 minutes as a guy that doesn't need his nails painted. If you choose to get the nails painted it can take 10-15 minutes more. I like to bring a book whenever I get a pedicure, and I'd suggest you do too. There's plenty of time to read between waiting, getting the pedicure, and giving your feet 5 minutes to dry afterwards. Anyway, the whole experience was super comfortable, and I've been going once a month for the last year or so. Never had any accidents or uncomfortable moments, everyone here is super skilled and professional. Out of all the places in the Biltmore area, this is by far the safest, cleanest, and most comfortable. Come here for all your needs if you get the chance! read more

They will always try to upsell you with a pedicure or additional service, and will always find time to add you to their schedule.
