First of all, I want to say that I am an acrylic nail newbie. I've gotten normal, gel and dip manicures in the past, but recently wanted to try acrylic. 3 months ago, I got my first full set here and today, I got my 3rd fill done. The owner/male technician is really a master at his craft. He is fast and sure with his movements. I've seen photos of the artwork he can do, but I didn't ask for anything fancy (just nude/neutral color) so that the manicure can last as long as possible without becoming unsightly. Today, I was at 4.5 weeks from my last fill, and honestly, if I didn't stare too closely, it still looked good before the fill! I feel like that's evidence of a really good technician! So, of all the different types of manicures one can choose from, acrylic (when done by a skilled and experienced tech) seems to last the longest. The salon was quiet and there were 2 other clients in the space during my visit. They prefer appointments, but will sometimes take walk-ins. The owner has always been pleasant and professional at each of my appointments. I'm so glad to have discovered acrylic here, at this salon! read more

Made reservations for this place for my friend & I to get pedicures. Our first time here & we decided to try it out because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, the services were just subpar. The pedicures need a bit more work and effort. I did get my nails filled here & I asked a glitter ombré - the guy was getting frustrated with how much time it took to add the glitter, then just shortcutted & painted it on the tips instead. If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked for French ombré + chrome ... showed inspo pic. Was told "no problem, $80.00" Walked out with dragon claws and the ugliest "French Tip. Worst manicure I've ever had... but he's been doing this 25 years. No cuticle care, no lotion, no nail bed clean up, not to mention being told your finger is why they can't do xyz. Based on reviews I was excited to try this salon. Sadly I was VERY dissatisfied. The salon is very dirty, all of the ornaments and glass trinkets throughout the salon are covered in dust. The trees that run down the center of the salon are covered as well...The bottles of polish are the same way. My nail polish was obviously old, the polish bubbled when it dried. I called to ask for a refund...nope, no refund. I will not be back and I hope they read this and take a few days off to clean! read more

Nail tech criticized everything from my nails to accusing me of kicking the filter off of the bath that we soak our feet in. She kept pushing my feet very hard like you do with a child when she put them under the light. Polish selection was very weak & old. It started to peel after a day. The biggest complaint is when I went to pay she attempted to charge me $30 more than the actual cost of the services I had. Very disappointing given all the other positive reviews. I hadn't had a pedicure in over a year and my friend's bachelorette party is this weekend. I had gnarly calluses, an ingrown nail, chipped nails, curling cuticles, you name it. I needed help fast. I called Phoenician Nails around 9:15am on my day off. I was able to get in right away, thank goodness. First thing when you walk in the door, you are asked to wash your hands. I think that is a very sensible idea. Staff and customers wore masks and were spaced apart for social distancing. I felt quite comfortable getting services here even with the risk of covid-19. Tina was so careful and gentle when trimming my cuticles. I am scared of that part because someone at a different nail salon made me bleed once and it stung for days. The basic foot spa package here is $28. I got the $35 package which comes with a sugar scrub to exfoliate my legs and feet. Afterwards, my skin was nice and soft. It is a bit pricey compared to other nail salons that I have been before but I cannot complain because I was able to get in right away, and Tina worked very hard to make my toes presentable. read more

This was a FANTASTIC time at this nail salon before my school year begins. When you walk into the salon you're immediately greeted with smiles and friendliness. The decor is tasteful, beautiful and not overly crowded with stations. A total of 8 pedicure chairs (with massage feature) and 8 nail stations. Everyone was wearing both masks and face shields and we were asked to wash our hands upon entering. The salon was clean and smelled fresh. I got the premium spa pedicure ($35) and from the beginning to the end it was perfect. Warm water, gentle hands, sugar scrub and a nice long leg massage. The pictures say it all. I was the only client there and this is what I am subject to? The layers of gel polish over my cuticles is so thick that it will be lifting in a few days from growth. I am not sure if the polish was old, dry or both, or maybe just from the technicians lack of expertise. It is hard to see in pictures, but it is far from smooth. I've been to this hidden gem twice. I am very happy with the fast and amazing service I have gotten. I went somewhere else for about eight months and the last handful of times I would go my nails would always chip, and I felt like I was rushed with poor quality service. I tried this nail shop and I couldn't me happier! I'm in and out (busy mom of 3!) I texted Trish and made an appointment for a Friday morning at 10AM. When I came in, one client was almost done so most of my pedicure was just me and the workers, which was nice. The person who did my pedicure, I believe her name was Tina, was super sweet. Even when I accidentally scuffed my wet nail polish, she didn't get upset or anything and just fixed it right away. I got the $35 deluxe pedicure and the massage and callus removing was really nice. I ended up getting a French tip but she did my right big toe crooked, which is fine but not fine since prices here are more compared to California. Mong did my acrylics and he did such an amazing job following the photo. I love that this location actually works with foil and designs and so on. The manicure was painless and I'm in love with it. After my pedicure (Deluxe French Tip) and manicure (Acrylic with Almond Shape and Design), the total I paid after 20% tip and the 3% credit card charge was about $140. I don't get my nails done too often so this is my year nail budget :') But Mong was great and so was Tina! Would definitely come here again in the future. Unrelated but.. To the lady who got a $65 manicure and only tipped $5, you shouldn't get services if you can't afford to tip correctly especially after raving that you liked your manicure. read more

Terrible!!! First time going to this place and my nails look like crap! She shaped them so bad and thick layers of nail polish started all bubbling up... unbelievable. Plus she hurt both of my big toes and one of them started bleeding pretty bad. Monk slayed my nails! Very enjoyable experience, he was kind and listened to me and what I wanted. He took his time and made sure they were perfect!! Absolutely love this place! I have been looking and looking for a good nail salon and finally was able to find it! I came in on Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. I wasn't sure what I want, but Tina explained to me how gel/powder/acrylic are all different. This place is a hidden gem but are always busy! Should always call in to schedule prior. I called 3 hours beforehand and got a spot around 3PM since they seemed busy during noon. Once I arrived they seated me right away. I got a basic white pedicure ($22) and a ombré pink/white powder set with a cute 3D flower design ($65). I am seriously IN LOVE with how my nails turned out! They really care for your nails along with putting out amazing results. I can tell they take their time to get every detail you want right. Even when they removed my old acrylics, they made sure to soak & file them down instead of popping them off (which damages the nails). The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is that it's a little pricey. The pedicure was alright at $22 but a SNS powder set for $65 is a little up there. I would probably be okay with around $50 but still satisfied either way. Would totally recommend checking them out! read more

I decided to try this place because it's closer than my normal place. The guy is rude. I got a full set of ombré nails. I asked about other kinds of nails and he made a comment about how they were too expensive for me. Okkkkkk. We never discussed my finances and the ombré is $55 so it's not like I was going for the cheapest option in the first place but I'm used to nail people being rude and he did a good job so fine, whatever. Then I had a nail break a week and a half later (which I never have happen at my usual place). I went in to get it fixed. He was just sitting there but he still gave me a hard time about coming in without an appointment. It takes 5 minutes to fix a nail! And again, he was just sitting and seemingly doing nothing.
