If you schedule an appointment plan on waiting 30 minutes after it was scheduled. Waiting an extra 10 or 15 minutes is reasonable. Then told me hey it just how it is in the nail business is and you can go somewhere else if you did not like it. It also takes almost 2 hours for nails just basic nothing fancy. The quality is inconsistent, the place is dirty, and cramped. I got my nails done elsewhere and I had a way better experience! read more

Gel removal and deluxe pedicure. Service was great. My wait time wasn't long. Staff were polite and fast. I've been to facilities that were fancy in appearance but service wasn't up to par with looks. This place is intimate and not as fancy, but 5 star service for sure. So far I'm liking this place! It's a minute away from my house. Honestly I was reluctant to go here because of the location and the overall visual but don't judge a book by its cover. It's a hidden gem. If you go in there knowing what you want and bring a picture also, your nails will be solid, but if you go in there iffy and wishy washy then i dont know what to tell you. My only complaint would be that even tho I paid for a gel full set manicure I only got the gel full set minus the manicure. He just kinda went for it. I also noticed that usually they tell you to wash your hands after they do all the shaving down (lmao i dont know what to call it) but he just started painting them right away. So looking at my nails I can see small bubbles. But I never spoke up about it. My guess is it was because I was one of the last people for the day. I have never been so impressed with my nails. The shape...I never knew what I was missing until I came here. I've had DeeDee do my nails and both times I came out awestruck. It doesn't matter how long you go, the shape will be perfect. I'm talking the apex of the nail, the tips, the cuticle, everything. Literally perfect. Even down to gel application, she makes sure the tips of your nails are covered. I've definitely found my go to place in Phoenix and I will gladly recommend her to anyone. I believe DD's nails to be a good place since day one. My cousin took me and they are only nice to me when she is there and that's the only place I go to, since i moved here. I have been other places an realized them to be the best. unfortunately I feel that they are over pricing in any situation they feel they can get away with it. how is that fair to loyal customers. I was with the girl whos table is right behind the register and she absolutely needs to learn how to apply acrylic. she have it dripping and my hand sticky and drop a glob back into the powder. We'll David does my nails and oh my gosh he is the best tech I have ever had. I also love the products they use because whatever chemical they use the bond for the acrylic is amazing. My nails have been on for quite some time I believe I've had this faucet and about four fill in's . They have not lifted not one time. I got my nails done with DD yesterday and I can say I was pleasantly surprised! It was my first time and I was a little worried based off the location, but I can say that I LOVE the way my nails turned out. They were able to get me in right away and my nails came out exactly how I wanted them. DD was nice enough to show me multiple different gel colors (I was indecisive about two) and made sure I liked the color before continuing to paint my nails. My only complaint is that she never had me wash my hands/nails after shaping them down before putting the gel polish on so I did have several bumps on one of my nails. Aside from that I can say that I was very happy with the work. I think I will definitely be back to see DD soon. read more

Went to DD's on a Friday and was attended to very quickly. Tran was my tech and there are not enough good things I can say about her! Besides her incredible personality and customer service, her work was impeccable! She takes her time to really make sure your nails look good and is very attentive to detail. I definitely enjoyed my time with her; I felt like I was chatting with a friend I had known for years and she made me feel at home in the shop. I don't think it even deserves 1 star! I'm so beyond heated right now! I usually take my daughters and nieces to have their nails done and they love going, but today we didn't go to our usual place we went to Dd's nails on 32 st and McDowell. Worst mistake ever!!!! I knew I should have got the girls and just walked out but we were there and the girls were excited. I told the people that kinda helped us how they wanted them done and was dismissed. well they didn't do as they wanted of course so a guy that wouldn't stay off his phone did my feet 1st and it hurt like heck as he dug his nails into my feet. So not only was I getting mad but still trying to focus on the girls as they were being worked on mind you it wasn't even at a table just on random chairs. A lady tells me to sit for my hands, she paints them in a hurry while she stood the entire time than gives me my bill and tells me I have to pay now. No dry time for me or the kids they forced my nieces sandles on and messed up the already crapy polish job which I didn't see til we walked out and I saw everything the bubble in the polish the smudges and the polish left on my skin and most of the nails werent even covered I was breathing fire!!! What a waste of time and $$$ I would have got better service and a better job if my 6 yr old did it... I decided to get my nails done last minute on Sunday so I called ahead to make sure they would be able to take me when I got there, luckily they were. They have a great selection of gel colors and so far the quality is great and they seem to be the best priced in the area as well. I only have great things to say about this place, everyone was so welcoming and I enjoyed chatting with Tran who did an AMAZING job on my mani. The color application is flawless and all of my nails are filed evenly which is a huge factor for me. I've been here a few times and each time there's quite a bit of wait due to limited technicians but very well worth the wait! I have gotten a fill each time I've been here and the technician is so precise and careful. The fill is done perfectly great, they make sure it's perfect and done well. The price for a fill both times I've been there have been a great deal for usually I tend to get long coffin style gel colored nails. She took off my old gel polish with minimal use of acetone and scraping (which means less damage to my natural nails), kept my length and had my nails looking pretty in no time at all.
