People who walked in without appointments were seated, finished, and left before anyone even started on me. I waited over an hour just to have my nails started, then had to wait even longer for my pedicure. What was the point of making an appointment? The pricing was the biggest joke. I was charged $120 for nails that honestly look like a $60 job. When I questioned the total, I added up the prices exactly as they were listed online. Instead of giving me a straightforward explanation, they kept adding random fees that weren't posted anywhere and acted like I was the one who didn't understand. Every time I pointed out that the math didn't add up, they dismissed what I was saying and made me feel like I was crazy for questioning it. It honestly felt like they were trying to manipulate me into accepting a price that made no sense. To make it even worse, another customer sitting right next to me got the exact same service and was charged $20 more than I was. There was absolutely no consistency in their pricing. That alone tells me they're either making up prices as they go or have no idea what they're charging people. The customer service was just as bad as the pricing. The employees were rude from start to finish. They were extremely rough while doing my nails, constantly yanking and grabbing my hands instead of treating me with any care. On top of that, they made multiple backhanded comments that came across as disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of addressing my concerns politely, they were defensive, dismissive, and spoke to me like I was the problem. And after all of that? The quality of the nails doesn't even come close to justifying the price. The shape, finish, and overall work are incredibly disappointing, especially after spending nearly three hours there. I left feeling completely ripped off, frustrated, and honestly pissed off that I paid so much for such poor work and such awful treatment. This was hands down the worst salon experience I've ever had. Between the ridiculous wait time despite having an appointment, the inconsistent and unexplained pricing, the rude employees, the rough service, and the mediocre quality, I will never be coming back. Lindsay was my pedicurist, and the actual pedicure experience was pleasant, no complaints there. However, as that day went on and a day or two later, I realized I wasn't happy with how my toes looked. At first, I thought it might've been the color I chose, but the real issue seemed to be that no top coat was applied. The polish looked dull and flat, lacking that finished shine I expected. On top of that, the more I looked, the more I noticed how uneven my toenails were shaped. Had booked two 10:30 appointments. While, I understand being a few minutes late happens. Both are pedicures started over a half hour later than our appointment. We had to cut them short. Really not acceptable for a 30 minute wait for appointments. Multiple people have the same issue. I understand that things happen, but it was the way it was handled. I brought my 86 year old mother a few weeks ago for a pedicure, David was so kind to her and did a great job. Brian, who did my pedicure was also terrific. This place is a nail salon heaven! It's massive! I was only in one room and there are about 5-6 others! The color selection, the service, the atmosphere, the attention to detail. All of it is awesome. This is definitely a higher end nail salon. The price was about $10 more than what I normally pay and every little thing was extra. I found this place in a jam and decided to check it out. Definitely they can get you in, there are tons of employees, you will not wait. I went in to Milano late last week, giving it a second "first experience" after 6 months. I clearly showed the check-in guy a photo of the exact shape and style I wanted and was assured they would "find someone with the expertise." When the tech saw it, I was told, "Too easy, too easy." That confidence was not reflected in the service. My nails were forcibly popped off instead of properly soaked; careless and rushed. The tech claimed expertise in stiletto shaping, yet the final result said otherwise. I was spoken to as if I were unfamiliar with a shape I've worn for 13 years. I ended up with multiple cuticles cut from improper filing, while the undersides remained unfinished. I left with a result that didn't match my inspiration and was not informed of any repair policy. **My nails pictured, and inspiration provided.** I returned the next day to address it and was interrupted and told nothing could be done unless I paid for a new set. After leaving, I was called and offered a redo at no charge; so I came back again. Third time, same set. This time, I was told I'd need to pay an additional $60 on top of the $130 already spent. After pressing, I was told if I wanted a "better" result, it would cost more. Let's be clear: the level of expertise I requested was established from the beginning and I was assured it would be met. ... Yet it wasn't, and now it's my fault, and you want more money. Apparently, this salon operates on unspoken "tiers" of quality. Never disclosed upfront. I left without a resolution unless I agreed to pay more for a standard that should have been delivered the first time. If you're looking for a place that rushes clients through and avoids accountability, this may be for you. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. And as a final note. Social media can be curated. It will never show the shortcomings or the mediocre sets that walk out of this salon. read more

I came here for a pedicure on my birthday recently and was highly impressed. The place is very nice. Clean. Elegant. Someone greets you at the door like a hostess and takes you to your seat. They ask you what type of pedicure and then give you a menu of complimentary drinks which include alcohol. The prices to me are pretty much the same as any other standard place. When I called to make my appointment, they quickly sent a text confirmation which was nice. Once I arrived, I was greeted at the door immediately with a smile and a welcome. They brought me to my chair and gave me warm neck pillow and asked what I would like to drink (I asked for a margarita and it was delicious). The vibe is welcoming and the staff are friendly and several people asked if I needed anything. I had a removal of my old set and had a new set and a pedi. David did my pedi and was friendly and did a great job. I like my toe nails short before I enter to get my pedi (just my preference on short nails) and most people complain that they're too short or make faces. David was the complete opposite. Very good at his services and I love the way they came out. Mimi removed my old set. I would have given 5 stars, but when I asked if she can use acetone, she stated it would take too long and continued to use another acrylic nail to remove them. It hurt but it was faster (I would have still preferred the acetone). Other than that, she did an amazing job with what I requested. If she didn't like how the design was she corrected it to ensure it looked nice. At the end of my services, she cleaned up any marking of nail polish on my skin and put on cuticle oil. I'm definitely beyond satisfied with my services and treatment, so needless to say I will be going back! read more

Holy crap this place is unreasonably expensive! Basic nails for a very expensive price. I got an ombré French tip with one flower and a French tip pedi for $200!!!! How crazy is that?? The work was ok, but for that price I would have expected perfection! I've gotten my nails done all around Arizona and this by far was the most overpriced place ever. The nail tech I go to is good. However it's annoying to wait over 30 mins when you have a scheduled appointment. My appt was at 4:45 and I have to catch a flight later tonight. They called me at 4:22 pm to ask if I could come early since the nail tech was available. I said "yes" I'm already driving and will be there in 5-10 mins. I arrive to find out they assigned my nail tech to someone else, I find this out after waiting for 30 mins at which time I left. Don't over book your staff and call the appointments asking them to arrive early to make them wait over 30 mins. read more

"Hey can you make sure my heels are super smooth ?" not only did she cut my big toe so low it bled she also used just a disposable "scrubby"sponge on my heel upon getting home, I realized that my heel actually felt rougher than before I even got there I'm not going back. I've been here twice now for a pedicure and both times they made me wait 35 minutes for my service to even begin and won't bother running the water at the pedicure chair while I wait. Absolutely loved my time at this nail salon. Entire salon was super clean and beautiful. I loved that they had different rooms with TVs on all different channels. I had a pedicure with Jennifer and she did a great job. Complimentary beverage when you walked in from someone ready to greet you and check you in for your appointment. The service was perfect. My only complaint was that I definitely did not ask for gel, I always get regular polish on my toes because it lasts a long time without needing gel. I should have flagged it when I saw the lamp come out for my pedicure but I've been doing my own toes for a while and wasn't sure if that was a way to just get the polish to dry faster when remote at the chair. I realized when I was charged $15 extra at check out. While that was unfortunate, I don't mind paying for a service I actually received but will make sure I am very clear next time. I live in the neighborhood and noticed this place being built out in the shopping center earlier this summer. It opened last month and man it's awesome. I booked a pedicure online which was very easy to do. When I got there I was greeted nicely by Austin who checked me in, got me to my chair and got me a bottled water, which was complimentary. They have a nice list of beverages that are complimentary. The space rivals a 5 star hotel spa, and I like it a lot. I got the "Fancy" pedicure and my nail tech was Rose. All parts of that experience were top tier and perfect. Rose is fantastic. The hot stone massage was exquisite on the calves. She used a fake nail tip to remove them instead of soaking them off. I also asked multiple times for a new Gel X set and she said to come back in a few weeks. Went in yesterday hoping to have found a new permanent nail salon and was thoroughly disappointed. My appointment was set for 2:30 with a friend. We both scheduled pedi and mani services and specifically requested in the appointment notes to sit together for both services (obviously or why even go together). 45 minutes into waiting a tech finally comes in to start her pedi... I assumed my tech would be in shortly which was not the case. The next tech that came in went to another guest that arrived after us. I didn't say anything because I assumed maybe he was waiting for her specifically. The next tech to come in went to another woman who came in even later than the man who was serviced before me. At this point I went to the front desk only to be told I'd be serviced soon. At this point I was over it. Well over an hour of waiting and my friend was already well into her pedicure. The man who was running the front desk came back to tell me I could go over for my mani service which I declined because again we wanted to be serviced together. I advised that I no longer wanted to get my nails done as I had to be somewhere soon after. I also expressed that 2 people got serviced before me and he tried to say one of them was there before me (which was a lie, she literally came in 30 mins after I was already there) and that the other person had a condition which apparently made them prioritize him over me. As a business you need to plan better to accommodate your clients and don't expect your customers to get bumped down on the list so that you can make specific accommodations for others. After all that we went to the front for my friend to pay. We walked out the door and couldn't even get a have a nice day. I already wasn't going back to the establishment but to see the person who was running the operation watch us walk out and not even say have a good day sealed the deal for me. read more

I have visited Milano Nail Spa at least four times and was initially very impressed with the service, especially the nail technicians. The last two times, Tina did my gel nails. After both appointments, I had to file the tips of all my nails at home because the edges felt rough. On my most recent visit on 2/4/26, Tina did my gel nails again, and once more I had to file the tips due to rough edges. In addition, on several fingers the work around the edges appeared sloppy. Eight days later, I returned to the salon to show the manager the issues with my nails. I first spoke with Jamie, who was very understanding and willing to help. She then asked me to speak with Nick. After looking at my nails, Nick said that what I was experiencing was normal after one week. However, the salon emphasizes that if you are not happy within two weeks, you can come back to have the problem fixed. That was not my experience. I left feeling disappointed, as I expected the salon to stand behind their work and honor their stated policy. It's unfortunate that because of the management's response, I will not be returning to Milano Nail Spa. The other technicians I've had in the past were very good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. read more
