don't go here. they use MMA in their product. i tried to soak this off at home and the acrylic was gummy and smelled, not real acrylic. i've gone here twice and both times were terrible. i got acrylic on my toes and the shape is always wonky and thick. i made my technician aware at the time and they still weren't fixed. last time i came in for a redo but i was not able to this last time since i had to leave the country. read more

Holy crap this place is unreasonably expensive! Basic nails for a very expensive price. I got an ombré French tip with one flower and a French tip pedi for $200!!!! How crazy is that?? The work was ok, but for that price I would have expected perfection! I've gotten my nails done all around Arizona and this by far was the most overpriced place ever. I'm genuinely shocked that I paid that much for a mani/pedi. I drove out of my way to come here and truly regret it. Went in yesterday hoping to have found a new permanent nail salon and was thoroughly disappointed. My appointment was set for 2:30 with a friend. We both scheduled pedi and mani services and specifically requested in the appointment notes to sit together for both services (obviously or why even go together). 45 minutes into waiting a tech finally comes in to start her pedi... I assumed my tech would be in shortly which was not the case. The next tech that came in went to another guest that arrived after us. I didn't say anything because I assumed maybe he was waiting for her specifically. The next tech to come in went to another woman who came in even later than the man who was serviced before me. At this point I went to the front desk only to be told I'd be serviced soon. At this point I was over it. Well over an hour of waiting and my friend was already well into her pedicure. The man who was running the front desk came back to tell me I could go over for my mani service which I declined because again we wanted to be serviced together. I advised that I no longer wanted to get my nails done as I had to be somewhere soon after. I also expressed that 2 people got serviced before me and he tried to say one of them was there before me (which was a lie, she literally came in 30 mins after I was already there) and that the other person had a condition which apparently made them prioritize him over me. As a business you need to plan better to accommodate your clients and don't expect your customers to get bumped down on the list so that you can make specific accommodations for others. After all that we went to the front for my friend to pay. We walked out the door and couldn't even get a have a nice day. I already wasn't going back to the establishment but to see the person who was running the operation watch us walk out and not even say have a good day sealed the deal for me. read more

I have visited Milano Nail Spa at least four times and was initially very impressed with the service, especially the nail technicians. The last two times, Tina did my gel nails. After both appointments, I had to file the tips of all my nails at home because the edges felt rough. On my most recent visit on 2/4/26, Tina did my gel nails again, and once more I had to file the tips due to rough edges. In addition, on several fingers the work around the edges appeared sloppy. Eight days later, I returned to the salon to show the manager the issues with my nails. I first spoke with Jamie, who was very understanding and willing to help. She then asked me to speak with Nick. After looking at my nails, Nick said that what I was experiencing was normal after one week. However, the salon emphasizes that if you are not happy within two weeks, you can come back to have the problem fixed. That was not my experience. I left feeling disappointed, as I expected the salon to stand behind their work and honor their stated policy. It's unfortunate that because of the management's response, I will not be returning to Milano Nail Spa. The other technicians I've had in the past were very good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. read more

I really wanted to love this place because service is great and the complimentary drinks are a perk! BUT cleanliness and work matters. I went in 2 separate times- 1. Gel pedicure w 2 nail extensions and one on my big toe -this matters. Pedicure was great but when I left I felt uncomfortable in my big toe because the extension had not been filed under my toe nail so it was creating unnecessary and uncomfortable pressure. I went in and was able to get it fixed but the chair they say me in was filthy - I'm talking white stuff on the chair and the guy refused to sit me anywhere else because it was "quick". Fast forward I decided to stay and get a manicure and it was not up to par- my cuticles were not taken care of, the way she glued and prepped was not it- I'm no professional but prep should be priority for good retention and nail health. She glued the nail tips UNDER my natural nail - it doesn't take a professional to know why that's a HUGE NO! the nails weren't bad but were rushed (pictures provided) acrylics are not new to me but these are the most painful set I had and WORST due to how badly it damaged my nail beds. They did not last 2 weeks. I needed a fill at 4 days because again prep was not priority. very sweet but will not be coming back sadly. I spent $200+ tip for both manicure and pedicure and was absolutely disappointed. read more

Just found my new regular nail salon! Walked in and was able to get a gel fill and gel pedicure right away. I highly recommend Tracy and Linh! They were very detailed, quick, and knew what they were doing. You can tell they have lots of experience. Tracy did my hard/liquid gel fill very thin and natural, just how I like it! Feels like your real nails. Linh even helped massage my very swollen and pregnant feet. Also, frozen margaritas looked pretty great. Can't wait to try those next time. First visit to this location was during their opening weekend. My husband and I went to treat ourselves and chose expensive pedicures. It was a great experience where all the products they used, lotions and scrubs, smelled amazing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed himself, but I wish they hadn't given me a dip manicure while I was sitting in the pedi chair - I was too focused on making sure I was staying still for her to work on me and super nervous about the drill cutting my cuticles (it happened at the previous place I went to and it stings so bad and is sore for a week after it happens to me). The dip manicure ended up not looking great, with the top coat being so uneven with gaps. They scheduled for me to come back to fix them. My nails came out better with the second woman who worked on me at the tables and used a gel polish over the dip powder, and I loved the color. I waited 3 weeks before coming back to have the dip powder removed and acrylic put on instead. I LOVED the thin black french tip that he did on my nails!! As the second day of admiring my new nails came, I noticed something really weird that I have never seen before in all my history of getting acrylic nails - the product was yellowing??? My nails were done on a Wednesday afternoon and I called them Friday to explain what was happening. They told me I could come by after work for them to fix. When I arrived, I wasn't too shocked that they believed that I must have done something to cause the yellowing - but I was adamant that I didn't use any lotions, no self-tanners, hadn't cooked, hadn't eaten anything with my hands, had done NOTHING that would have caused the yellowing! I Googled to get an idea where this could come from, and it indicated it could be water that gets into the product during application, could be a reaction due to different brands mixing, or a fungal infection. Several different employees who looked at my nails seemed to agree that the yellowing was my fault, that it was normal, or that they didn't even see it themselves. Thankfully they didn't charge me to remove the acrylics, but they also didn't offer to give me a partial refund from my previous visit or a discount to return. My nails are now completely dried out and brittle (but no fungal infection now that the acrylics are off, thank God), so I have to wait for them to grow out, get healthy again, and I'll find somewhere else to go in the next couple months. I hope others have had a better experience, because the shop is absolutely gorgeous and the complimentary drinks are a big plus. My husband and I had wanted to continue going back to get pedicures every month, but we'll have to find someplace else. read more

This is a beautiful nail salon that is clean, roomy and tv's playing everywhere for entertainment. I watched Mad Max.....at the spa. The free drink is a nice perk, if you drink. I quickly realized that because I had chosen basic pedi and mani, I did not get the warm neck pillow, I didn't get two people working on me and I only received one coat of polish. When I asked for a 2nd coat, she said ok and applied clear coat. I didn't like that. I think paying $75 deserves two coats of regular polish. But, it seems if you pay top dollar, you get treated right. read more

This was a disaster from the start. It is a very fancy nail salon, but there is a lot of room for improvement. I have had a lot of facials and manicures and this undoubtedly the very worst. The person who did my facial allowed her phone to ring 6 tiimes during my facial. She used paper towels to wipe off the creams and a dollar store paper mask that she left on for the majority of the facial. The massage was decent, but her strokes were rough and hurried. Nothing relaxing about it. She also tried to charge me $80 instead of the advertised $40. I highly doubt she has any training in cosmetology or massage. Moving on to the pedicure and the manicure that they did at the same time. I could not relax or look at my phone. I requested a certain color which they didn't have. She attempted to apply another color that was a bright pink. I politely informed her that was not the color I chose. The second color I chose was still the wrong color, but I was tired of arguing with her. I had been there two hours for just the nails and we hadn't even got to the nail color. Ugh. Decent job of nail application and nice chair massage, but this place was way overpriced and took way too long. They do offer drinks of any kind with your service. 2/10 Don't recommend read more

I don't know why they bother showing you a menu. I have yet to received the service that I ask for. My nails are sensitive to touch after my mani today. I noticed "bruising" before she put on the polish. I have been sensitive to the dremel since I started coming here (this is my 3rd time). I really do love this place a lot however when it comes to the nails as I'm getting a full, each time I am asked what shape I want, I states coffin or as close as possible. I have shorter nails but long enough for a small coffin shape. The nail tech always says "no we can't do that the nails are too short.". I then explain each time I get a full, I have the same convo and state that 'I come here all the time and get the same exact shape.'. The tech then says 'ok' and I get the shape I want. I should not have to have the same convo each time. Tell your techs to quit saying NO to something that CAN be done. The pedicures that I receive are great. Too bad getting a fill makes the experience not good. read more

I had a bad experience at this nail salon from the very beginning. The nail technician was rude and rushed his work. I was unsatisfied with the work but could not stay longer as I had errands to run. The next day Monday, I returned and asked if the nails could be fixed as they were lumpy and thick. I was told by a staff member that this could be done and asked me to take a seat. A few minutes later she brought be a book to choose my color as the color I originally asked for was a light pink and it looked white. She said someone will be with you in a few minutes. 25 minutes went by and I was told by a different staff member that he didn't think my nails were lumpy or thick and that the technician that originally did the nails was not working and they could not help me (the technician was in the salon). I told them I was on my lunch and they could have told me from the beginning that they could not do this for me and my time was wasted. The staff member said call tomorrow and rushed to answer the phone and left me with no other answers. I paid 65.00 for this service and will not be coming back. read more

EXPENSIVE!!!!! Never in my life have I paid the prices they have!!! Crazy!! And don't even do a good job!! I paid for a basic pedicure with gel $65. It's a nice place and overly big so I see why they have to mark up the place but that should affect the customer. I've paid less in North Scottsdale where all the people in the area are well off. This is just ridiculous. The top pedicure cost $95 lol and that doesn't include your gel polish which is going to cost an extra $17 lol this place is a joke!!!! read more
