I have come to CPNS a number of times. I have had mani' and pedi' with several technicians, I have been the most satisfied with Lee. She does an amazing job and my nails always look natural. I can also tell she is very busy with many requests for her services. I have moved my appointments because she is not available. Today I called and the owner Chi scheduled my appointment with Lee as requested. She also told me Lee could only give me a manicure and someone else would give me my pedicure which I said was fine. I get to salon, Lee is finishing up with a client and then comes over and begins my pedicure. I have my AirPods in and not thinking anything about it. Trying to relax in my broken chair and hot side of the salon, (broken a/c). Then another employee walks over and says to me, "Hi, sorry but Lee can only give you one service." I respond with I don't understand???? By this time Lee is on the phone with Chi and then hands the phone to me. Chi then tells me Lee can only give me one service, so I clarify with ok, so she can only give me a pedicure? I'm still confused. Then Chi says, "I told you Lee can only give you a manicure so when you sat down and she started to give you a pedicure you should have told her to stop!" Now I'm very frustrated and proceed to tell Chi it is not my responsibility or any customers responsibility to direct her technicians or keep the salon' schedules! It is her responsibility to NOT overbook. She then tries to talk me into going to another technician but I told her no, I have had experiences with other technicians and have left unhappy with their work. I spend too much money on my nails to not be satisfied with the work. Chi says ok well I don't know what to tell you! I respond with ok I'll leave after my pedicure, which she did not care about. Lee's next appointment comes in and I explain to the lady the situation and she was so sweet and offered to wait so Lee could give me my manicure. Which turned out great. The owner failed to communicate in a way expected from an owner of a business. She also told me she told Lee not to give me a pedicure so she didn't understand why she did, also not becoming of an owner or employer. She did not offer any apologies or take any responsibility for the situation she ultimately was the one responsible for. It's unfortunate I will not be returning here. I really like Lee's work and she's very friendly but I cannot support this business owner. read more

I'm really disappointed in this place. technicians were nice however they do not follow sanitation laws and regulations. It was disgusting to watch them use dirty tools on people not run disinfectant through their jets between clients as the law requires to prevent infections. The technicians kept using their own nails to dig in between my cuticles to get the extra polish out instead of using a tool, which is first of all uncomfortable and second gross. How many people's toes have they they've been touching and now you're digging your nail into mine? Very unprofessional. Not sanitary. I've been a licensed Cosmetologist for nine years, and I would never suggest this salon to anyone. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but because I rely on them, I thought I should contribute. I have been searching for a salon, so gave Centre Pointe a try. Sadly, I won't be going back for the following red flags, and it's probably one of the worst manicures I've had done: - the website quotes a regular manicure w/SNS removal at $30 (20 for manicure and 10 for removal). When I called, reception said no it is $12 for removal. After my manicure the technician said it would be $15 plus the $20 for the standard manicure. Pricing should not fluctuate. - I had expressed concern about drilling to remove the dip because I have thin nails. The acetone and foil technique were used after buffing the top, but it was only left on for 2-3 minutes and did very little to remove the dip. So, the drill was again used, but with a bit taken from a container marked "soiled," and did not remove all the dip. Not kosher. - the final result was very poor. I selected a semi-translucent color, and the leftover dip can be seen underneath the polish with a lumpy look, to boot. I would like to add that the salon did honor the $12 dip removal price quoted on the phone and the staff was pleasant. read more

Moved back to Central Phoenix and was in need of a new nail salon. Decided to try this salon based on a recommendation and so glad I did. When I arrived, I knew they had their work cut out for them. I was way overdue for both my gel pedi and acrylic. I had one nail that was completely broke and another that was too deep, I was afraid to try to take the broken piece off.
