I've been to this place now three times... The first, I did have to wait about 10 minutes for the nail tech to come start my nails... I did not think anything of it. The second time I was back was just for a fill and they did not complete the design as she switches two of the colors incorrectly and the thickness of the nail on one finger was too much and unbalanced and oddly textured but the set was nice enough and they made a big deal of how hard straight stripes were for the nails. I felt too guilty to ask them to fix it so I kept it, knowing it would force me into a set removal instead of a fill the next time. This time, I arrived at 9:30 AM and did not leave until 11:27 AM.... I had booked two services, a set removal and a manicure, a week in advance thinking I could get a chance to relax. To my surprise, the nail tech "ran out of time" to complete the set removal and manicure, leaving me sitting without a technician for half an hour. When I told the secondary technician who came to finish the polish that I felt disrespected and was looking to speak with someone, she told me the owner was out but I could ask the woman at the front desk in charge of scheduling since the system regularly overbooks technicians. When I got up to the front desk I had to wait AGAIN because she was working on nails herself then proceeded to argue with me that I had confirmed a set removal when I arrived, and so they had taken the manicure off. So therefore, it was my fault that I was sitting and waiting on their staff for half an hour. Which to her is "a little bit". When I then mentioned that I had confirmed the set removal and had wanted to keep the second service so I did not understand the confusion, and would prefer to speak to a manager or owner since she was arguing she insisted I could only speak to her. She then proceeded to tell me that the nail tech was just "too slow in the removal process" and so it was actually her fault. -- not wanting to take accountability for their overbooking. She continued to try to argue with but I had enough and asked her to please let me pay so that I could leave. She said something along the lines of she was going to provide a small discount (10%) then proceeded to give me nasty faces as if it was a ridiculous ask to be escalated to a manager or someone similar because of the poor service. At the end, I asked her to remove me from all marketing texts, and emails and I am still getting them... The technicians are lovely for the most part but if you want any level of respect, choose any other salon. read more

wasn't happy with the color or quality of the nails, did explain that i didn't like the color after the dip powder, they tried to fix it by adding a gel top coat but still wasn't satisfied. adding the gel polish over the dip powder made them look messy & thick. it overall just put a damper on my mood after being there for awhile & it felt rushed. i wanted to redo the whole set by the end of it & my nails/fingers were already sore & cut up on the sides. i didn't have time to sit there & have them redo the entire set hoping they would turn out better. i reached out asking for a refund because later i got them redone elsewhere & loved the way they turned out. it ended up being very expensive so i asked for a refund or even partial refund. instead i was offered a 20% off my next dip powder service. overall wasn't happy with the outcome. read more

I have come to CPNS a number of times. I have had mani' and pedi' with several technicians, I have been the most satisfied with Lee. She does an amazing job and my nails always look natural. I can also tell she is very busy with many requests for her services. I have moved my appointments because she is not available. Today I called and the owner Chi scheduled my appointment with Lee as requested. She also told me Lee could only give me a manicure and someone else would give me my pedicure which I said was fine. I get to salon, Lee is finishing up with a client and then comes over and begins my pedicure. I have my AirPods in and not thinking anything about it. Trying to relax in my broken chair and hot side of the salon, (broken a/c). Then another employee walks over and says to me, "Hi, sorry but Lee can only give you one service." I respond with I don't understand???? By this time Lee is on the phone with Chi and then hands the phone to me. Chi then tells me Lee can only give me one service, so I clarify with ok, so she can only give me a pedicure? I'm still confused. Then Chi says, "I told you Lee can only give you a manicure so when you sat down and she started to give you a pedicure you should have told her to stop!" Now I'm very frustrated and proceed to tell Chi it is not my responsibility or any customers responsibility to direct her technicians or keep the salon' schedules! It is her responsibility to NOT overbook. She then tries to talk me into going to another technician but I told her no, I have had experiences with other technicians and have left unhappy with their work. I spend too much money on my nails to not be satisfied with the work. Chi says ok well I don't know what to tell you! I respond with ok I'll leave after my pedicure, which she did not care about. Lee's next appointment comes in and I explain to the lady the situation and she was so sweet and offered to wait so Lee could give me my manicure. Which turned out great. The owner failed to communicate in a way expected from an owner of a business. She also told me she told Lee not to give me a pedicure so she didn't understand why she did, also not becoming of an owner or employer. She did not offer any apologies or take any responsibility for the situation she ultimately was the one responsible for. It's unfortunate I will not be returning here. I really like Lee's work and she's very friendly but I cannot support this business owner. read more

I'm really disappointed in this place. technicians were nice however they do not follow sanitation laws and regulations. It was disgusting to watch them use dirty tools on people not run disinfectant through their jets between clients as the law requires to prevent infections. The technicians kept using their own nails to dig in between my cuticles to get the extra polish out instead of using a tool, which is first of all uncomfortable and second gross. How many people's toes have they they've been touching and now you're digging your nail into mine? Very unprofessional. Not sanitary. I've been a licensed Cosmetologist for nine years, and I would never suggest this salon to anyone. read more

I came as a walk in, and was very satisfied with the service provided. The receptionist and nail technicians were friendly and skilled. I originally got regular polish on my toes but I quickly messed them up, and I want to thank the nail tech for taking her time and re doing my toes for me. I was on a business trip I needed to get my nails done the same day. They were quick to respond to my request even though they closed at 6:30. My appointment was at 5:30 and they were able to finish by 7 o'clock. Both Traci and Moe did an amazing job on my nails and feet. I had a really good time and both of them gave off really good vibes. This is one of my favorite nail places. It's clean. It's efficient and they are super accommodating with last minute appointments. There tons of good technicians working here and seems like the management does a good job with having diversity of talent on hand. I had a new nail tech this time around and she was great. I don't normally write reviews, but because I rely on them, I thought I should contribute. I have been searching for a salon, so gave Centre Pointe a try. Sadly, I won't be going back for the following red flags, and it's probably one of the worst manicures I've had done: - the website quotes a regular manicure w/SNS removal at $30 (20 for manicure and 10 for removal). When I called, reception said no it is $12 for removal. After my manicure the technician said it would be $15 plus the $20 for the standard manicure. Pricing should not fluctuate. - I had expressed concern about drilling to remove the dip because I have thin nails. The acetone and foil technique were used after buffing the top, but it was only left on for 2-3 minutes and did very little to remove the dip. So, the drill was again used, but with a bit taken from a container marked "soiled," and did not remove all the dip. Not kosher. - the final result was very poor. I selected a semi-translucent color, and the leftover dip can be seen underneath the polish with a lumpy look, to boot. I would like to add that the salon did honor the $12 dip removal price quoted on the phone and the staff was pleasant. read more

Come here if you're willing to spend 3+ hours here!! I got a gel pedicure and a fill in gel manicure. Total was $96. $48 each!! And I only got the standard pedicure. Expensive and takes a long time. A lot of it was just me waiting around. For like 30mins at least. Also left me a mess! read more

Moved back to Central Phoenix and was in need of a new nail salon. Decided to try this salon based on a recommendation and so glad I did. When I arrived, I knew they had their work cut out for them. I was way overdue for both my gel pedi and acrylic. I had one nail that was completely broke and another that was too deep, I was afraid to try to take the broken piece off. Pedicure was great and much needed but I especially appreciated the attention to details and care given to my nails. The guy who did my nails, I believe his name was Ivan. I was given a gift certificate and I chose the Cucumber pedi, wax & gel mani- best I've even had all the way around. My manicure has lasted 2 weeks so far with no chips. The place is so pretty, modern and has peaceful music. The wax area was private, clean and services were fast. They were so busy and now I know why! Worth the short wait since I didn't make an appt. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. I had decided to get my nails done on the fly so I didn't have cash. When I told Trisha Le that I didn't have cash she gave me a disgusted look, charged me 90 cents without my knowledge, and told me to bring cash next time. I said seriously? Isn't a tip better than nothing? I will never come here again because they stole from me and acted like not having cash is a crime. I really wish there were American owned nail salons so we could put these holier than thou thieves out of business. read more

This place is AWESOME. You just can't make everyone happy, like the husband of kristi l. from Glendora, CA. I was there when her hubby called in and didn't like that the coupons were from the grand opening and hadn't been removed. I just have to say that Chi's experience might not be in working with computers and ads, but is THAT WHAT I WANT TO PAY HER FOR? Or the salon's expertise with NAILs and PEDIs. I followed Tracy from Allure Salon to Centre Pointe because she is such a professional when it comes to doing a mani/pedi. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am happy, and we have a lot of fun picking colors :) The shop is clean, price competitive, the equipment works, and the staff is attentive and seem happy to be there. Nice place, but owner to cheap to allow his actual workers to be compensated/tipped thru debit or credit cards. Sad for workers whose customers don't have cash on them. I had mentioned to the same guy with the long fingers nails that I wanted to grow out my natural nails and to shape them. He told me on my next appointment that he can do that. Come my next appointment i ask him to shape my natural nails AND HE CUTS THEM DOWN TO THE SKIN!! i told him "what??!? you said i can do that and you would do it why did u cut my nails" he said " No, it wasnt me " Bull shit. after being stabbed by his long finger nails that upset me. THEN, i showed him a picture of what I wanted and he begins to argue with me and respond with irrability and rudness about what i wanted. He was trying to give me white polish french tip when i asked for pink polish french tip. That is when the argument began. When he got up to grab the pink polish he was arguing with me and saying stuff under his breathe. So unprofessional and upsetting. After that I can tell he was rushing to do my nails. I told him "can you take you time please, this is my birthday set". I did not like how my french tip came out. I asked him to redo it over and over and it still came out not to my liking. I mean look at that angle on the french tip. No one should go to a salon for a self care day ( for their birthday at that) and get treated like that Then i went to check out he was not wanting to give me my 10% birthday discount. He said that i didnt get a "full service" like whattttttt That made me so mad. Thankfully suzie was able to help me out. She apologized and offered me my 10% Suzie is always so polite and good at what she does. Unfortunately it is because of the guy with the ling fingers that I will not be going back to Central Nails
