Anna did my ombré acrylic full set and gave me options for the whites and pinks. She even went as far to show me what the colors looked like when they were mixed with the solution before application. She also used this cool measuring guide for cutting the nails. We started at one level, they were too long, so she cut a bit, too long still so she trimmed more until I was at the length I liked. It was helpful so we didn't accidentally cut too much! I've never had someone take the time to show me that before. Definitely will be requesting her for my fills. read more

I've come here twice now, once for a pedicure once for a manicure. And it's a very nice place, decent staff amounts, a lot of colors, etc. and my nails have come out looking very nice with a pretty low price even. However, both times I've had the same person do my nails, Nanny I believe, and she is so heavily handed, hasn't asked me what I want, and overall made the entire process very painful. I was very impressed my first visit. Not so much the second, and third because a break. After a week of the original set my nails were lifting. After two weeks one broke. She fixed it when I came back for a fill. Four days later a nail pops off. I go in for a fix and two days later another one breaks and just a few days ago which made it a little over two weeks yet another broke. I work a desk job so it's not like I'm using my hands a lot to cause this to happen. I can typically go 3 fills before having to redo a few nails. I didn't want to have to go in a second time For yet another fix so I had to use my at home poly gel kit to fix it myself so I wasn't walking around with now three broken nails. read more

This salon is in a cute little strip mall and has a very nice ambience when you walk through the door. The music is a nice tranquil salon type sound which I enjoyed more than hearing what's on the radio or something on TV that most other salons play. I was greeted by a very nice woman at the front desk who checked me in and asked me to sanitize my hands (which I appreciated). I like that all of the employees were wearing masks but I didn't really like that I was literally the only customer the entire time who wore a mask. One woman even commented to someone else how she had a constant cough (but still chose not to wear a mask). Maybe it's the area this shop is in but I would have liked it if the shop asked customers to wear masks. This salon had a very nice variety of colors to choose from and I was able to find exactly what I liked and had in mind. I forgot to ask the name of the lady who did my pedicure but she did an amazing job! She was so delicate and didn't rush through the process at all so it was nice and relaxing (how a pedicure should be). About halfway through my pedicure the girl up front asked if they could start my SNS manicure at the same time. I liked that they asked first as I was reading and I welcomed them to start. I like to get in and out as quick as possible (without rushing services of course), so that was an added bonus to me. Cindy did my manicure and was also very gentle and took her time to make sure each nail was filed straight and that I was happy with the outcome. I'm writing this review because I want to give a heads up about this place. I have now gone twice and been seen by two different nail artists. The first time I went, Thao did my nails. She shaped them beautifully and did an ombré nail for me. While they weren't the nude to white I wanted, I let it be since it was my first time since the pandemic treating myself. When I got home I noticed how uneven my dip was. Some nails were thicker and some were super thin. The second time I went was this past Monday. I was seen by Don as I had seen his name pop up in the reviews so many times. Let's just say I won't be going back. I asked for a modern twist on French (photo included) and please see what I got. At the end of my service, he said "see the lady in green there? Kim? She does designs go to her next time". It's been three days and the dip has already chipped. Three strikes you're out! They used to be good but quality and cleanliness has left the building. Long story short I brought my friend a year ago, and we sat around for two hours trying to get our pedicures done because the nail techs kept coming and going between us and other customers. Then, I went back by myself a few weeks later and the lady they assigned me to didn't even say anything to me, just grunted and pointed to a pedicure chair. She then proceeded to fill up a visibly dirty pedicure tub and brought over tools that were most definitely used on someone else. So I just got up and left. Today was the last straw. All I wanted was all white toes with a fairly simple design on the big toes. The tech was definitely new and not very experienced but I'm fine with being patient. She took a very long time to complete just the pedicure portion. When she got to painting she did a very sloppy job. She flooded the cuticles with the polish, and the polish itself was lumpy and uneven. I was going to ignore it but when she got to the design she was struggling hard so I told her it's okay and asked if she could just paint a dark blue on top and we'll call it a day. It wouldn't have looked great but I was willing to just go with it for her comfort and because at this point it had been an hour and a half. She insisted that she needed to file off the white polish and start over. So I said okay. Then I went to pick out a dark blue and they had none of what I wanted, so I just said never mind leave the nails bare because at this point we were at the 2 hour mark. Then the owner Chi tells her to charge me full price including the gel and I said no way. Chi was making it sound like I just didn't like the color and made her change it. I was trying to be tactful in front of the new tech but I finally said "no it looked like crap and needed to be fixed". Chi finally just said fine. That's not customer service at all. Neither is bringing in your kids to run around and make noise while people are paying good money for a relaxing service. I don't want to hear you yelling at your son about a book report. read more

I came here while visiting from CA- I never get my nails done and was treating myself to a full set of dip nails. I had to come back a day after I got them done because both thumbs were crooked and starting to pop off. While the manager was very kind and apologetic, instead of taking them off and redoing the thumbs, she put dip powder behind my nails and sent me off within 2 mins. It looks like I got these done weeks ago when it really hasn't even been a full week!!! They look ATROCIOUS. I'm giving 2 stars today because this is my backup nail salon. Today I asked for acrylic removal and clear hard gel. My appointment started at 3:45pm and I just got home at 5:45pm, mind you, I live 2 blocks away. She took off my acrylic then started the hard gel which she did 4 layers, cured them & they were lumpy so she filed them all off and redid them! I was irritated at this point because this should have been a 30 minute appointment. They look ok but then she tells me the price of $68?!! WHAT?! I pay $60 at a 5 start nail salon in Glendale, that's worth the drive, for a reverse acrylic with glitter AND a design. I told her I've gotten my nails off and clear coat before and it was 30$-- she stepped towards me and says louder "this is because it's hard gel, hard gel $48". So where does a $10 soak off and $48 make $68?? To cut my cuticles?? That's what a damn manicure isss! OMG! I was so furious I could have caused a seen but decided not to. I came here for a few years and today I had the worst experience. I had technicians doing my nails and pedicure at the same time. I couldn't even enjoy myself because the technician doing my nails was so rough she cut me three times! She also did a poor job on my nails. She messed up my thumb nail and did one layer only as soon I got him I could see it chip already. Then when my services were done they gave me sandals to leave in, of course when I got home the nail polish was off. They only gave me a 25% discount and it still came out to $70! I will not be back. They should have not charged me and hopefully none of my cuts get infected. Terrible service. I let them know everything afterwards too by calling them and still no refund. read more

First off let me say, finding a DECENT nail salon in Arizona is HARD! I thought Centre Pointe had a chance based off of their reviews and photos but I was unlucky once again. I gave this place 2 stars because they have an awesome color selection and the receptionist was very sweet. My manicurist on the other hand... I'm not sure if she was purposely trying to get me sick but she was straight up coughing directly onto my hands. Not even trying to cover her mouth or wear a mask. Thankfully I'm not ill. Now the manicure... this woman did not pay any attention to detail. She was about to leave one nail way longer than the rest, got gel polish all over my fingers and my nails were not evenly polished. Felt like she was trying to get the job done as fast as possible and just slapping on the polish. For a regular gel my nails are very thick. Three days later, two nails have chipped and one broke my actual nail. I think they just use really cheap polish. I'm so unhappy I feel like I'm just wasting my money on my nails. read more

First, I want to disclaim that I don't get my nails done often because it's not something very important to me personally and the few times I have just haven't been experiences worth spending the amount of money it costs. I've been here two times, two different technicians. Each time was a simple manicure: The first time: This was a long time ago, but I remember I opted for gel polish this time because they were very insistent and also had a better color selection. The entire time the technician seemed annoyed with me. I don't know if I offended him or something, but he was really short with me. I tried to make small talk in case maybe he preferred chatty clients and didn't like how quiet I was (I'm a shy person), but he shut me down, so I don't know. I can't recall specific details or his name, but I remember walking away feeling disappointed because everyone else around me seemed to be smiling and enjoying their experience, while I felt unwelcome and spent a pretty penny for a lackluster experience. I decided to brush this off and chalk it up to maybe him having a long day. Second time was today. Another manicure, but this time I got regular nail polish instead of gel. I tend to peel off gel polish and I didn't want to spend the money just to absentmindedly peel it off after a day. When I checked in, I noted that I wanted regular polish instead of gel. I was sat and the technician's name was Lee. I felt a bit of pressure to get the gel from Lee. And at one point the woman who sat me asked if I wanted gel, and I said I didn't and explained that I tend to peel off gel. Now, maybe this was a language barrier thing and they just wanted to confirm my wants, or maybe they were just pushing for a higher sale, either way I'm not bothered if anyone asks me the same question a few times and I'm always kind. However, Lee seemed really annoyed with me. When she started on my nails she was aggressive with me and seemed to rush through it. It hurt when she was trimming my cuticles. (I know I don't have much experience since I don't go that often but no one has hurt me before or has been as aggressive or rushed themselves like she did). My right pointer finger now has a sore spot where she snipped the cuticle too far (photo). I am not good with confrontation, but she was on the cusp of being so aggressive that I almost stopped her to ask if there was a problem because it was so unpleasant. I wish I did say something, because the more I look back on it, the more I'm really stunned by it. Anyway, I won't be returning here. I've been to a couple other nail salons before and no place has felt this unwelcoming. Maybe I was just unlucky and happened to get two grumpy technicians both times, but yikes. read more
