I walked in to Center Pointe nails yesterday and Lisa was my nail tech. She took off an old set of Acrylics and put on brand new set. It took 2 1/2 hours and $58 later (They charge $8 to push cuticles back and cut them) this is the hack job came out of it. I honestly didn't even know it was this bad until the gel was removed. It looked terrible with the gel on as well. Needless to say, I'm never coming back here again. She made me feel like I was being too picky when I just wanted a very simple nail service done right. I had to go somewhere else and have them take off the gel and reshape and file and put new gel back on. read more

My nail tech of choice is Trisha. She does fantastic work and is such a professional! I literally schedule my life around my bi weekly appointments with her; she's that good! Myself and my two daughters went in for a pedicure. One of the older techs performed a pedicure on my daughter. She had absolutely no issues prior to arrival. This tech dug into her toe so hard it hurt her and she mentioned it. The next day she began having issues with her toe. I called to speak to the Manager and for the run around. The Manager called I explained what happened. She asked me to take my daughter to the Dr. She went to Urgent Care and had an infection from the injury she sustained by the nail tech. She was placed on medicine. I had reached back out to seek reimbursement for the medical costs incurred due to the tech's injury. I never heard back from anyone, not even to check on the well being of my daughter. Needless to say, we will NEVER return. Beware and do not let them dig into your toes or you may end up in the Urgent Care too!! read more

I have been going to centre pointe nails and spa for over 8 years. I've always had great customer service, and wonderful manis and pedis. I have used the services of Kim, Tracy, Lee, Thao and the owner. All of them were amazing, and did wonderful work. I have sent my family here, and my mom and my daughter also go. The tech I've been using the most and who I see almost exclusively now is Thao. Thao is wonderfully gentle, she does a fantastic job, she has a wonderful sense of humor, and makes the entire process fun and relaxing. I'm so pissed off I'm writing this review while I'm still in the chair LOL but it's actually not funny. NANCY did a terrible pedicure. She literally grunted every single time I made a comment about how I wanted my nails. She filed them uneven, barely touched my cuticles, and laughed when she cut me. If you're a black girl and you get her as your tech, ask for a different one IYKYK. I've been here for almost two hours and I've had 4 girls work on my toes and we're still not even close to them looking the way they should. You know it's bad when the owner comes over and looks at your nails silently. I'm so annoyed lol be better than me and just go to a different salon!! I literally left with unfinished toes. read more

I usually like this nail salon. I have been going here the past three months, twice a month. I just came here today, and I received really bad service. Nail color I received did not match the color I chose. Also not enough layers were applied. It's a shame when they charge you $38 for something you don't like. I asked Tau if we could add another layer to make it darker, and she informed me it was too late. If I pay almost $40 for a service, I expect to get something I like. I'm so sad because I got my nails done here about a month ago and they were PERFECT!! None of my nails broke the color was perfect the service was great! I got my nails done last Tuesday (11/3) my nails looked great a little thinner than normal almost like they were buffed way to much when the tech was filing my nails they seemed like paper which I've never had happen. It's now Sunday and two of my nails have chipped!! And I have the SNS on my nails I'm so sad because this isn't cheap and now I have to wait for my nails to grow out some to get them redone and reshaped. But this shouldn't happen and had never happened to me before and I've been getting SNS done for almost a year now so I'm extremely disappointed Wanted to provide and update now a third nail is about to break! This is my second time coming to this nail shop. Needless to say, it will be my last. I am a dark skinned black woman and my experience at this shop has been the same as with others - aggressive handling of my hands and feet - despite me explaining that I am sensitive, no eye contact or warm greeting upon entering, no attempt to speak with me as my nails or feet are being done, skipping steps or showing an unwilling attitude when asked to fix or reshape a nail or be attentive to a poorly don't manicure (see picture). It's the greeter at the front desk with the false eyelashes who doesn't listen, gets my appointment or walk-in request wrong, and then acts as though it's justified through her nonchalant attitude. The picture below is how I left the shop after asking for my dip nails to be removed and a manicure. I asked for my nails to be rounded. Take note to the lack of attention to my hang nails, cuticles, no oil, and barely any clean up before slapping lotion onto my unclean, nail-dust filled hands. I let them know how dissatisfied I was and how this is the second time I've not felt like a valued customer. They dote all over my precious 7 year old and proceed to treat me like I hope they do better, but I won't be coming back to find out. read more

I came here with a bridal party of 10+ and they did such a good job. They have a separate room on the opposite side of the wall so you and your party can visit away from the main area. Everything was organized and prepared for us ahead of time. They really planned for us. We had enough attendants to help us with our manis/pedis quickly. They also let us bring food and decorations to make the bride feel special. Actually the whole event was simple and easy; a dream come true. I'm so glad the salon was easy to work with. Showed up for a 1215 appt and didn't get seen till 1235. Gave it a chance and decided to pay $40 for an upgraded pedicure experience. Was assured there would be a extended massage and received a 10 minute calf rub. Calluses were removed but nails were not shaped appropriately (or at all). The place was clean and chairs comfy (though my technician did not instruct me to utilize the remote for a seated massage/ reclining options as many of the other patrons seemed to have been). I came here a day before I had a wedding (ten days ago). My technician, Trish did such an excellent job on my nails, was very tactful, thorough and she answered any questions I had, specified exactly what shape I wanted for my SNS and gave me some great recommendations on whether or not I should lengthen or keep my nail length. Manicure: not the best. The nail file was old and used and not clean at all as well as the "drill bits" she put on the hand held device. They all had dead skin all over them. The manicurist was not wearing gloves and was eating before she started on me without washing her hands. The end result is great, just very unsanitary!! Pedicure: in LOVE!!
