I found this place through Yelp search and am super glad I did! I'm very happy with my brow wax/tint and Tara was a sweetheart. The space is cute, clean, and relaxing. Additionally I live out of state and am visiting family in the area so I won't be using their services regularly but Tara took notes on how I liked my brows done so when I come back in the future it'll be done to my preference! Today was my first visit, and I was really excited to come in. I've heard so many great things about this place, so I came with pretty high expectations. I booked a Brow Magic appointment with Tara, and overall I was happy with the service and my brows. My only disappointment was the timing. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. Since there isn't a receptionist, I checked myself in and waited. Around 3:47, Tara popped her head out and let me know she'd need about 7 more minutes, which was completely understandable. However, it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though. read more

Visited for brow magic and a lash lift and tint today with Megan. I had my brows done for the first time professionally in 10 years and they turned out wonderfully! Although there was definitely disappointment in the turn out of my lash lift and tint. I have had this service done previously elsewhere and usually it provides much more volume and curl to my lashes. I'm not sure if it is the products that are used at this establishment but I left unimpressed. I attached photos for reference of what my usual lash lifts turn out like. As the lash lift and tint was a large part of todays cost, for this reason, I would not recommend this service. read more

Mini Melt is THE place to get your eyebrows done!!! I started seeing Jamie for the Eyebrow Tint & Magic and it has been life changing. She is truly a master of her craft. I actually get regular compliments on my eyebrows now, which had never happened to me before. I was initially worried about the tint being too dark or the wrong color but Jamie is seriously an expert, just put your life in her hands and she will not lead you wrong. I feel like the eyebrow magic is just enough to make it look like you care about your brows, but it's not overkill at all. They use a skin crayon to map and mark your brows to make sure they are the perfect shape for your face. The salon is literally adorable and photo-worthy, and everyone there is so friendly. I've been a loyal customer to Melt for over seven years, even before they had the Mothership or any of their other locations. They've always been the nicest group of women--loving, caring, and supportive. Waxing and spray tans aren't always the most comfortable services, but they always go out of their way to make me feel at home. I have thick brows and I used to be a loyal customer for many years at a chain wax center for my brows, but I wanted to find a local brow place and I'm so glad I found Melt! Dana really took the time to get to know my brows before waxing away anything. She noted that I have sensitive skin and took necessary steps to make sure my skin wouldn't have a negative reaction. I had an agreed upon appt with Jaycee today at 4PM at the Mini Melt. Jaycee was a NO SHOW. I arrived at 3:54 today and the door was locked. I texted Jaycee to ask if she was on her way and requested she call me. I also left the two VMs and requested a call back since Mini Melt was closed asking about my appt. I left the location about 4:12. It is now 5:22 PM and I have NOT received a text or phone call.
