This place is tucked away but an actual hidden gem. They has SO much they offer and a wonderful schedule full of times pretty much everyday of the week. I recently had my lashes done in another state and this was to fix those and make them more comfortable and she did exactly that! Wonderful staff! The only thing I wish they had was maybe some soft blankets to cover your legs while you get your services done and calmer music to create a little more relaxing environment. However that's me being picky. I will absolutely be going back! I already made my next appointment.

My daughter and I initially went in after purchasing a Groupon to get our lashes done. Our interaction and service rendered with Roxy was pleasant. After returning for three follow up appointments my daughter had an allergic reaction. I contacted Roxy and showed her the pictures. She was in contact with Katie the owner and said they could get her in on January 2 for removal of lashes. Her appointment was a just couple of days prior and the reaction happened on New Years Eve. Katie the owner said that they would take the lashes out for free but that is not the desired result. The payment was to have lashes not to have the lashes look the same as before. I think it's of equal importance to mention that she had previous appointments with Roxy and we very pleased and no reaction. We will not be going back to this boutique and spend my $85 every two weeks elsewhere.

If I could give a zero star I would. Besides my bad first time experience, I decided to give them a second chance and they blew it again. I've been getting eyelash extensions for many years now so I know what to expect. There is a huge difference between a good one and a bad one. All these years I've been spoiled with extensions from NYC, well mainly because I am from there, and only once have I tried getting them out of state (NC) and the experience was horrible. Flash forward years later, I decided to give it a try again in AZ, and wow the standards here are low. Maybe not all salons are like this one. Being on both ends of the game (as a customer and supplier), customer service is very important. Whenever there is a negative review, I read into detail if the negative review was reasonable. Often people just complain but it is very important to read into detail. Yes, I used Groupon because who doesn't want a deal? But that doesn't mean you should treat the customers any lower. The whole point is marketing. Get your name out there. Draw in more customers. This place failed at it. Cons 1. Is this the only place that doesn't know about COVID?!? Why are masks not enforced? Why is social distancing not enforced? Why are temperature checks not enforced? Why is there absolutely no protocols?! Photos were taken and uploaded for proof. I get a facial near downtown and I have to fill out a bunch of health forms. The moment I step in, they check my temperature. Shoe booties are even provided. COVID is real. 2. It is absolutely unprofessional to text throughout the entire service you are providing. Pictures also included. Imagine going to the spa and the person doing it keeps texting in between your treatments. Imagine I am performing surgery and take breaks while you are under anesthesia to text. Bet you wouldn't appreciate that. Treat others the way you want to be treated. I don't charge clients my rates for poor quality. 3. BUYER BEWARE. There is no fine print for you to reference. Since I've had extensions done for so long now, I know what I want. I purchased the Groupon knowing I wanted mink eyelashes. When I arrived, I was charged an extra $40 for mink. The eck..so you're saying the advertisement is false. Yes, I probably could turn it down and leave but I was already there so I accepted this BS. I was also told this covers my mink refill so there won't be another charge. Okay.. fine. 4. There is no consent form. I guess you guys never received a lawsuit. Every eyelash salon I've been to, I've signed a consent form. Every eyelash salon I've been to also explained the options. If this is your first time getting extensions, do not come here. There are a ton of different shapes, sizes, lengths, types, and styles. Apparently, that doesn't exist here. Everyone gets the same thing unless you ask. 5. I usually fall asleep during this entire process but I stayed awake throughout the entire time I was here because I could feel the struggles during my application. And I was right. See pictures. There was glue stuck to my eyelid and even inside my eyelid. I felt like I was going to get a corneal ulcer with the amount of pain from the dried glue rubbing on my eye. There were so many glue clumps and missing sections. Upon addressing the situation, she just plucks off my eyelash with the extension. Erm..not cool. Obviously, I can feel it. I asked for the mirror this time to watch her and she plucks off another one and flings it off my forehead faster so I wouldn't have noticed.. So I removed the remainder of the glue clumps myself in front of them in fear of more of my real eyelashes being removed. Despite all this, I still tipped a decent amount. Why? Because I am a tipper.. 6. I knew I wasn't going to be in town for a 3-week refill and instead would be back in AZ at the end of 3 weeks aka the beginning of the 4th week. I was told that was fine and I could still come in for the refill. The majority of my lashes fell off about 1.5 weeks from application. I show up on time for my appointment and was told I had to pay for a full set because I was missing so many. And that the reason why I was missing so many was that it was over 3 weeks. Well no, because it fell off in 1.5 weeks. Then she responds it's because of my eyelash cycle. Well no, because I am not new at this. My extensions usually last way over a month. Sometimes even two months. Where was this rule that even though you pay for a refill, if you lose the majority of your lashes, you need to pay for a full? Yes, she offered a reduced price of $99. Erm..how is this worth it? It's not. I decided to not go through this twice and left. Overall, this is probably the longest review I've ever written and I really hope other yelpers out there do not get fooled as I did. From all my reviews, clearly, I splurge a lot so it is not about the money. They just suck.

Beware of the fake reviews here that give 5 stars here. If you want real reviews from this place, look up "The Seductive Lash" or https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-seductive-lash-phoenix-2. No COVID safety guidelines. No masks required. Come here for your dose of COVID. The place is completely unprofessional and the set up is horrible. especially when you walk in, all of the workers stare at you and then go about their conversation. I had to wait for their conversation to die down before they checked me in. no hello or welcome or anything . You're in a room full of other people and the techs scream over your face and talk to the other techs in the room. I've been getting lashes for years and this time getting them done they were burning I told the lady and she said I might be having an allergic reaction but it's never happened to me before. I've had the lashes on for about a week and they're almost off completely. Definitely DO NOT recommend.

UPDATE: it's been 8 hours since I got my lashes. My left side has started itching and I looked in the mirror.. I already have GAPS. Are you kidding me?! I'll post a left vs right side so you can see the difference. Before coming here I've NEVER had itchy eyes and my lashes always looked PERFECT for three+ weeks (I have pictures I sent to my other lady to prove I'm not making that up.) 8 HOURS. I don't know if I even want to come back and get my fill I paid for. I'm disappointed. So my friend comes here and recommended I try it (after my lash lady moved) so I got a Groupon to try them out. The lady was nice and they look great! I took two stars because a) I got charged the full removal fee (25$) for only a handful of lashes left (it had been 6 weeks since my last appointment so you can imagine most were gone) and b) she didn't use any solution or anything to get them off I was pinched and pulled on a little bit in the process. Had I had a full set or even a half set to remove or had she even used some removing solution on me I feel it could have been a bit more justified. But for what was left 25$ for removal seemed incredibly steep (especially since I was told over the phone it would be 10$)

This is the conversation asking for a fix and the company reaching out to her offering the date.
