I am a total newbie to all things laser, and although I have considered it for years, I was too nervous to actually make an appointment and proceed with any treatments. She spent so much time with us to really listen to my concerns and understand what I was hoping to achieve, which I truly appreciated. She then explained the many options they provide, the comparisons, benefits, etc and how we could financially address the things I was discouraged about. This place is tucked away but an actual hidden gem. They has SO much they offer and a wonderful schedule full of times pretty much everyday of the week. I recently had my lashes done in another state and this was to fix those and make them more comfortable and she did exactly that! Wonderful staff! The only thing I wish they had was maybe some soft blankets to cover your legs while you get your services done and calmer music to create a little more relaxing environment. My daughter and I initially went in after purchasing a Groupon to get our lashes done. Our interaction and service rendered with Roxy was pleasant. After returning for three follow up appointments my daughter had an allergic reaction. I contacted Roxy and showed her the pictures. She was in contact with Katie the owner and said they could get her in on January 2 for removal of lashes. Her appointment was a just couple of days prior and the reaction happened on New Years Eve. Katie the owner said that they would take the lashes out for free but that is not the desired result. The payment was to have lashes not to have the lashes look the same as before. I think it's of equal importance to mention that she had previous appointments with Roxy and we very pleased and no reaction. I had originally WAS NOT going to give this business a good review. After fighting traffic for 45 minutes, thinking I would be late for my 9:30am appointment.I made it on time at 9:25am.. But Lash and Laser was closed! I sat there until 9:45am. At this point, I was not a happy camper to say the least!!!!! I was able to make my appointment online and choose my aesthetician. Once I arrived, I was greeted and welcomed by all (3) aestheticians working that day. The spa was very warm, inviting and beautifully decorated in white, silver and black with several glass chandeliers, very Chic! The spa looked very clean and as one of the aestheticians finished with her client, I noticed her cleaning and disinfecting her station before her next client. I explained that I had a Groupon Coupon for 75% off of the normal price and was told no problem! Once I was checked-in, my aesthetician helped me to get comfortable on her table and explain how eyelash extensions work and how to take care of them. Then, I just let her do her work and we spoke in general about a lot of things, made me feel comfortable. At the end of my session, she handed me a mirror, she reminded me not to get my lashes wet for "24 hours" and handed me an eyelash brush for upkeep. At checkout, I showed my Groupon Coupon from my phone, I was charged for the difference only and asked if I would like to make a next appointment, which I did for (2) weeks later. Payment was through a computer tablet and allowed me to leave a tip if I wanted to. The day before my next appointment, Lash and Laser sent me an appointment reminder by text message. If I could give a zero star I would. Besides my bad first time experience, I decided to give them a second chance and they blew it again. I've been getting eyelash extensions for many years now so I know what to expect. There is a huge difference between a good one and a bad one. All these years I've been spoiled with extensions from NYC, well mainly because I am from there, and only once have I tried getting them out of state (NC) and the experience was horrible. Flash forward years later, I decided to give it a try again in AZ, and wow the standards here are low. Maybe not all salons are like this one. Being on both ends of the game (as a customer and supplier), customer service is very important. Whenever there is a negative review, I read into detail if the negative review was reasonable. Often people just complain but it is very important to read into detail. Yes, I used Groupon because who doesn't want a deal? But that doesn't mean you should treat the customers any lower. The whole point is marketing. Get your name out there. Draw in more customers. This place failed at it. Cons 1. Is this the only place that doesn't know about COVID?!? Why are masks not enforced? Why is social distancing not enforced? Why are temperature checks not enforced? Why is there absolutely no protocols?! Photos were taken and uploaded for proof. I get a facial near downtown and I have to fill out a bunch of health forms. The moment I step in, they check my temperature. Shoe booties are even provided. COVID is real. 2. It is absolutely unprofessional to text throughout the entire service you are providing. Pictures also included. Imagine going to the spa and the person doing it keeps texting in between your treatments. Imagine I am performing surgery and take breaks while you are under anesthesia to text. Bet you wouldn't appreciate that. Treat others the way you want to be treated. I don't charge clients my rates for poor quality. 3. BUYER BEWARE. There is no fine print for you to reference. Since I've had extensions done for so long now, I know what I want. I purchased the Groupon knowing I wanted mink eyelashes. When I arrived, I was charged an extra $40 for mink. The eck..so you're saying the advertisement is false. Yes, I probably could turn it down and leave but I was already there so I accepted this BS. I was also told this covers my mink refill so there won't be another charge. Okay.. fine. 4. There is no consent form. I guess you guys never received a lawsuit. Every eyelash salon I've been to, I've signed a consent form. Every eyelash salon I've been to also explained the options. If this is your first time getting extensions, do not come here. There are a ton of different shapes, sizes, lengths, types, and styles. Apparently, that doesn't exist here. Everyone gets the same thing unless you ask. 5. I usually fall asleep during this entire process but I stayed awake throughout the entire time I was here because I could feel the struggles during my application. And I was right. See pictures. There was glue stuck to my eyelid and even inside my eyelid. I felt like I was going to get a corneal ulcer with the amount of pain from the dried glue rubbing on my eye. There were so many glue clumps and missing sections. Upon addressing the situation, she just plucks off my eyelash with the extension. Erm..not cool. Obviously, I can feel it. I asked for the mirror this time to watch her and she plucks off another one and flings it off my forehead faster so I wouldn't have noticed.. So I removed the remainder of the glue clumps myself in front of them in fear of more of my real eyelashes being removed. Despite all this, I still tipped a decent amount. Why? Because I am a tipper.. 6. I knew I wasn't going to be in town for a 3-week refill and instead would be back in AZ at the end of 3 weeks aka the beginning of the 4th week. I was told that was fine and I could still come in for the refill. The majority of my lashes fell off about 1.5 weeks from application. I show up on time for my appointment and was told I had to pay for a full set because I was missing so many. And that the reason why I was missing so many was that it was over 3 weeks. Well no, because it fell off in 1.5 weeks. Then she responds it's because of my eyelash cycle. Well no, because I am not new at this. My extensions usually last way over a month. Sometimes even two months. Where was this rule that even though you pay for a refill, if you lose the majority of your lashes, you need to pay for a full? Yes, she offered a reduced price of $99. Erm..how is this worth it? It's not. I decided to not go through this twice and left. Overall, this is probably the longest review I've ever written and I really hope other yelpers out there do not get fooled as I did. This review is regarding a recent visit to Lash & Laser on Friday November 22nd, 2024. My wife had a 4:30pm appointment, we walked in at approximately 4:15pm, there was a woman having her lashes done, the woman doing the lashes DID NOT acknowledge us when we came in. A couple of minutes later another woman walked in and the woman doing the lashes acknowledged her and the woman said she had a 4:15pm appointment. At approximately 4:30pm the woman finished doing the lashes, and that is when we found out the woman having her lashes done is the other woman working there, who I believe is the owner. She then called the woman who had the 4:15pm appointment. The woman who was doing the lashes still did not acknowledge us being there. Another woman walked in and inquired about making an appointment and she went to the back to talk to the owner. At approximately 4:50pm we were fed up waiting and we were getting ready to walk out when the owner came out and said she would be right with us. I told her no you won't, we are leaving and explained to her how we were ignored and what poor customer service they demonstrated toward us. I made sure the other customer and the woman inquiring about an appointment heard what I had to say. All the owner said to us was sorry. I told her sorry was not good enough. We had previously been to this business over a year ago and were not treated this poorly. So to anyone considering going to this business, be careful as you may not be treated with quality customer service. read more

UPDATE: it's been 8 hours since I got my lashes. My left side has started itching and I looked in the mirror.. I already have GAPS. Are you kidding me?! I'll post a left vs right side so you can see the difference. Before coming here I've NEVER had itchy eyes and my lashes always looked PERFECT for three+ weeks (I have pictures I sent to my other lady to prove I'm not making that up.) 8 HOURS. I don't know if I even want to come back and get my fill I paid for. I'm disappointed. So my friend comes here and recommended I try it (after my lash lady moved) so I got a Groupon to try them out. The lady was nice and they look great! I took two stars because a) I got charged the full removal fee (25$) for only a handful of lashes left (it had been 6 weeks since my last appointment so you can imagine most were gone) and b) she didn't use any solution or anything to get them off I was pinched and pulled on a little bit in the process. Had I had a full set or even a half set to remove or had she even used some removing solution on me I feel it could have been a bit more justified. My sister in law was in town and wanted to get some lashes. She found this place on Groupon and bought us both one. I was super nervous because of a bad experience I had elsewhere previously. My lash tech Olivia seemed very confident and assured me I would not have pain as I experienced previously. I wasn't sure what style or length lashes I wanted but they helped me figure it out and they are perfect. All the employees we interacted with were super friendly and knowledgeable. I have already rebooked a lash fill and I am seriously considering some lip filler. I will update if I do that. The staff at lash and laser is AMAZING! They go above and beyond with every service they do. I've gone to other lash places to get my lashes done before but no one does lashes as well as Mel. They make it super easy to make an appointment and even text you before your appointment to see if you are still able to make it (life is hectic, so this is incredibly helpful). Unfortunately I have had an AWFUL experience here. Their booking system is awful, their receptionist doesn't respond. My friend was getting married and got her lashes done with a full set and it was great, went to have a second fill, and a whole section didn't stick. She reached out and booked a fix the day before the wedding (see attached photos). Everything seemed perfect. Except when we got to the salon. We got here and were unpleasantly greeted and one of the techs told one told us weren't in the system and refused to help. And accused us of lying about the booking (once again see texts). We explained the situation how we had a short window and she was getting married TOMORROW. Nothing. The tech threw a fit and was nasty. Luckily we waited it out and was able to "squeeze her in". Not without being passive aggressive and condescending. I understand booking issues and systems fail. But the real problem is how we were treated. Maybe it's just me, but I hate eyelash extensions. I keep hearing that it's the best thing ever and it doesn't hurt. I've tried three times at Lash and Laser and I've come to the conclusion that I am not a fan. I originally purchased a Groupon and it was easy to make an appointment by text. I came in and Kenzie did my eyelashes. I paid $35 extra to get the volume lashes. They were pretty, but omfg, my eyes burned and were red for many days! I wanted them off my face. I called the company and the owner reached out. She told me that it could be a reaction to the padding they put under my eye and reassured me it would go away. She was right, the burning went away eventually. I came back for a refill three weeks later and Kenzie decided to make the lashes lighter this time and use tape under my eye instead of the padding. It helped but seriously, they were still uncomfortable and I thought maybe I could get over it. After two weeks, most of the lashes fell so I went back again. A week and a few days later, lashes were falling on one eye and the uncomfortableness never went away. I realized then that this is just not for me. The beds that you lay on are extremely uncomfortable too. Since I decided to take out the lashes on my own with oil, my lash line looked quite bald so I bought fake eyelashes to temporarily ease my insecurities. A few friends told me that the fake eyelashes look a lot better than the eyelash extensions from Lash and Laser because they were spread out and looked more natural. *Sigh* - at least I can say I tried. read more

Bought Dysport Groupon to try this business. Do not get Dysport/ Botox there! First it was difficult to get booked. Tiffany was late, Product ran down into my eye. I don't even think she used what I paid for...she gaslighted saying "I don't see anything running", lip flip was additional $119 so it costed more than I was paying before and results were so poor my lips are practically same and I've had lip flips before. Facility doesn't feel clean. Customer service lacks, skills not there. Don't even know how they're in business with employees like this. When I checked out she gave me a condescending wink. He does an excellent job of explaining the process and expectations of your service as well as explaining the variety of options that you have available to you (in regards to the other services that they offer). I have only been to this establishment 3 times so far so I cannot yet speak to the final results as I expect to see drastic result at around 5 or 6 sessions. After consulting with an employee, I purchased a laser package to assist with facial skin concerns. The employee assured me that I would see major results after one treatment, but to ensure the outcome I wanted, i was told to purchase 3 treatments. It was very costly. Before and after pictures were taken. The pictures show no change. This was presented to the owner, who agreed that there was no improvement. She stated that the package that was sold to me would have never resolved my skin concerns. She apologized and offered me another 3 series laser treatment that was designed to resolve my skin concerns at no cost. I attended one treatment. They cancelled the 2nd appointment due to COVID in April of 2020 (which is understandable). I have attempted to schedule the subsequent appointments many times and I keep being told that I'd have to pay at full cost. I repeatedly asked them to review my chart and text messages so that they could see that I still have 2 sessions left at no cost. I patiently assumed they were just confused. After almost a year of messaging them, they said that I needed to speak to the owner directly. They gave me her number; I've left 2 voicemails with no response. I have went a total of two times. The first time I loved my lashes, was sat down right when I came, and got a good deal! The only downside was that they fell out within two weeks. I wanted to use Groupon again for my next visit since it was more expensive and didn't last as long as other companies but they DO NOT allow groupon use again! The second time I received an email for a new lash technician for a special price. I waited to even be assisted for an hour and lost an significant amount the FIRST day! It has been two days and I have massive gaps already and my lashes clump together no matter how much I brush them. Both of the technicians were extremely nice & fun to talk to but the quality, price, and durability made me not want to return. read more

The worst lash experience of my life. Mel started my appointment 45 mins late and didn't even have the decency to apologize. My right eye lid was glued shut once she was done and it hurt a lot while she was trying to un-stick it, so I moved and she got an attitude that I moved?
