I was here twice and both times it happened .This is not a place to go for any services they offer unless you have someone also that you feel like bashing and you can then join right in. I hate to give a bad review but this was the worst lash experience I have ever had. They used sooooo much glue on my lashes that they looked clumpy and cheap and ruined my lashes. I've NEVER had this happen in all my years of lash extensions. You lay in a room with other people and the person doing my lashes was talking across the room to another person the entire time. Total nightmare from beginning to end. Communication is terrible, so it becomes impossible to book an appointment. They NEVER answer the phone. You'll end up in a text thread a mile long that is anything but polite or customer oriented. But maybe they're busy enough they don't mind the burn rate. Also and maybe more importantly, I was uncomfortable in the salon itself. No one actually spoke to me, just to each other during several 2+ hour visits. First, these were the best set of lashes I've ever received. They were fluffy and stayed on for months BUT I still won't go back. I thought it would be a med spa type of experience but it was like a nail shop where we were all filled in. The person working on me kept complaining about how she couldn't concentrate, didn't want to be there, didn't feel good ect. It was just very unprofessional and scary since she was working on me. There were clients and friends coming in and out and it was just very noisy. My friend loved my lashes. I was obviously hesitant to send him there but I gave him a warning. I see him again with fabulous lashes very upset. They were so mean to him calling him a diva and talking behind his back. I am also in dispute over the fees and service not received from this salon. I signed up for 6 areas to be treated (3 were monthly treatments x 8 visits, 3 were weekly treatments x 8 visits total of 24) I prepaid the $1100 fee and received exactly 6 total services over 3 weeks. I could not get anyone from Lash & Laser to return a phone call or schedule an appointment. First, I had to change an appointment to a different day, and Katie rescheduled it for later the SAME day, I texted back that it needed to be ANOTHER day. I texted four times additionally that week letting her know that no-one is answering the phones and no one is calling me back to schedule an appointment that has been paid for. There were exactly 7 attempts to reschedule without a response. Second, they were LATE for every appointment. Fifteen minutes after waiting in the lobby, I finally went out to the parking lot to wave at Katie who is outside in her car to say "HELLO, I'M WAITING" and she rudely implies in the legal correspondence that something is wrong with me as to why it mattered if she waved back? I didn't pay $1100 for her to wave at me, I paid for treatments! Hello, customer service? I asked twice to have the invoice and paperwork emailed to me which was never received, but I sure received the cancellation request to cancel the SAME day appointment, but no way to re-schedule another. Katie, I'm sorry that your mother was ill and it has been a hard time for you. Everyone goes through rough family times and have to function in a job or life and you do have LOTS of staff that could back you up, so the "excuses" were getting very old every time you drop the ball. It's a business and if you can't handle running it, then maybe it's okay to step away. You stated that you cared about all your customers, except the ones that can't get you to return a call? First visit scheduled night before had the option to choose or random I had the system pick for me as I wanted a 10am appointment for my lash refill I arrived on time was greeted and shown to my technician and she promptly went to work. My lashes turned out nice this was a fill as my usual technician who is a sole practitioner and out of the country and I just needed to get in before our standing appointment. I would say this was a good job overall but I definitely think that I'm spoiled by the quality of my technician as the lashes didn't last much longer then 2 weeks so my regular appointment was just in time. They're all so sweet!!! Melanie is my lash girl, and Colleen is my phenomenal nurse! These ladies have helped me feel beautiful, every time. Melanie is great because I'm a troublesome eye water-er and she still gets them right every time. Colleen is the coolest sweetest lady and so informative and skilled at what she does. It's awesome because they also offer other services, like Botox, juvederm, cavitation and so much more. They have a flexible schedule and the best pricing for the quality service... but their nurse and technicians ice the cake. This is my new beauty home and I don't plan on going anywhere else. They'll even let you know via text if they're able to see you earlier, and confirm via text as well. I initially came here because I purchased a Groupon. I really liked how quickly the lash artists work (not rushing, just efficient) and feel like I'm definitely getting my money's worth as far as how they look and how long they last. I generally go between 2-3 weeks before a touch-up. It's clean and comfortable but if you're looking for a place that has more of a private feeling where you're in a room alone getting your lashes done then this is not the place for you. I don't mind the set-up but I've also been pretty fortunate to come at times where there was just 1 other person being worked on. Unfortunately I had to post this review due to the disappointing customer service. I had bought a 6 treatment service and then communicated with Katie via text about adding another service and she said it would be $100. To make the story short, Alyssa told me the service would be after the last treatment and I had to schedule a separate appointment. I had asked a few times and the same info was confirmed as I was trying to see if they could have both services within one appointment. Alyssa called me literally 15mins before the appointment letting me know that Katie told her it would be $350 and I cancelled. I requested to have Katie call me back. Katie never called, I kept texting her but nothing for a week, then she responds saying that the additional service needed to be the 6th treatment from my initial plan, which did not make sense and I was never told, even when I had asked!!! I requested for her to look into it or at least provide a better discount due to their miscommunication but got nothing back. Don't get me wrong, Katie and the ladies are really nice and I did add a great tip for them but unfortunately the owner was not responsive nor willing to honor what she had offered. First time being at Lash & Laser I had a great relaxing experience getting my eyelashes done here. The environment was friendly, clean, and over all the staff were friendly, talkative. I was very hesitant trying out a new place do to prior bad experiences from other places I have been to. I expressed that I have had really bad eyelash experience from other places, I asked a lot of questions, McKenzie was great, & patient about answering all my questions. McKenzie is so sweet, very friendly, and took her time with me, she treated me as a friend not as a customer. McKenzie work turned out great, love my eye lashes. They didn't burn when I opened up my eyes, have received so many compliments. She actually took the time to explain eyelash care afterwards. Pretty bummed to have to write this, but after reading the reviews and my own experience, it seems like I'm not the only one who has been in this situation. So here we go! My lash artist, Yuki, is no longer with Lash & Laser and had always done a fabulous job on my lashes. When I went to reschedule an appointment with her, I realized she was no longer on the schedule so I called and agreed to try a new tech. My appointment was uncomfortable and the artist seemed to be new, so I tried to do the right thing and just deal with it. The day after my appointment however, my lashes were falling down in directions they weren't supposed to be, and were falling out left and right. I am not a confrontational person so it took a lot for me to call, but I spoke to the receptionist who GUARANTEED a free appointment to correct the lashes, without me ever asking for the service to be free in the first place. I wasn't sure what to expect when I called, but was assured "it would be free of charge." I went in to the shop a few days later as soon as they could get me in with "a more experienced tech" who actually did a great job and I was super happy with. BUT, when it came time to check out, I took my card out to leave a nice tip for the tech and was told my service would be $60. Now, that might not seem like a lot to some, but if you're a full time nursing student you'll understand that that was literally my money to eat for the next week. I agreed to pay as I was in front of an entire room of customers and did not want to make a scene, not to mention the fact that I was EMBARRASSED to say I didn't have the money to pay. Had I known I was going to be charged, I would have kept my appointment for the following week when I had the funds. I explained the situation quietly to the tech who attempted to ask the owner about it, but even the owner said I had to pay. Of course the receptionist who I had spoken to was out and had nothing written down on my appointment about our correspondence and the tech said "this should have only been a half hour appointment then" and also "you can't believe anything she says" and rolled her eyes about the receptionist. Not a good look, and how in the world would I know how long my appointment was in the schedule book for?! Anyway, I ended up paying and went out to my car and took a minute to process everything and decided to go back in and ask to speak to the owner myself to explain the situation. She was with a client and said "I will give you a call in about an hour." So I took her word and went home. Unfortunately, here we are, 7 days later and I have emailed, texted, and called and the business owner for some reason refuses to even acknowledge me. I even received a confirmation text message for my appointment on the 17th that was never canceled when I was told to come in for a touch up instead to make things right. I'm writing this in hopes that this will be made right and maybe the owner will take note of the situation now. I am disappointed that I was flat out lied to and taken advantage of. You should be ashamed and embarrassed to run a business this way and know that you lost a valuable customer and referrals I had made to friends. read more
