So I was a first time customer. I was 15 minutes late do to a rear ended in accident. However they still conducted the appointment with the allotted time even though I had indicated I could reschedule. They insisted that I come in and that they would be able to complete a full set of classic/signature Lashes. Jessica was my technician. I did inform her that I would be going on vacation. Literally I saw 4 Lashes fall as soon as I got into the car. And by the time I got home I had lost seven. I woke up that morning with one side of my eyelashes almost completely gone. And by day three I had absolutely no lashes remaining. I contacted them the day after & they try to indicate that it was a Weather thing. Which it's not- I'm literally in an environment that is hotter than Arizona right now and they did not stay. And I am well aware of the rate of growth of lashes on an average person. These are all excuses lash technicians use in order to retain your money and not have to fix what they screwed up or rushed. Then they tried to indicate that classic lashes are heavier than volume highbred Lashes. Insinuating that I chose the wrong service. Which I know I did not I specifically wanted a more natural appearance so their justification again is another false statement - Lash strength dictated specifically by each individual client. Especially due to the condition of my eyelashes and their thickness. I have not had a set of lashes in over a year and they were fully grown out lush and thick able to support any type of lash curl length at that point. I am a licensed cosmetologist I have experience with applying lashes on others I simply do not do them on myself and I am highly disenchanted with the product /service provided. They wanted to get me in for a " mini fill". I them told them that would not due considering that the FULL SET had fallen off. Then they wanted me to make another deposit to secure the appointment which I was not comfortable with as their payment method of Zelle cash app or Venmo is what they recommend. Again this is another technique because you can't dispute those. And even if you dispute a credit card transaction it's a 45 day process so all of this is a means to keep you coming back giving them repeat attempts at producing a set of lashes that stick I should NOT have to pay full price for a full set considering my last set from them deteriorated and fell off within three days. Pictures below. This is literally within 24 to 48 hours of getting a full set of lashes. When I conveyed all of this to them they simply stated yes they would cancel my (fixer upper) appointment. I had my lashes done by Alexis and she is phenomenal! She asked what I was looking for and she was able to convince me to trust her expertise on what kind of lashes would best meet my needs. I thought it was impressive that after only one look at me, she knew which lash style would work best for my Asian eyes! The entire lashing process took only 1 1/2 hours, which I really appreciated since I had back pain from a recent flareup and sitting for long periods can be difficult for me. I was also pleasantly surprised at how nice my lashes were afterwards. With some lash artists, my lashes would like a caterpillar. Alexis, however, created volume that was classy and elegant. It has now been almost 2 weeks and I love how my lashes look.. though a few lashes have fallen off, the majority of my lashes are still there and I feel beautiful every time I look in the mirror! First and last time here. I came in for a fill on lashes I already had. There was no discussion of concerns or risks...just plopped down and lashes applied. 2 days later I have half my lashes. Their offer was to book me for a one week appt and charge me again. I usually go two weeks in between fills easily. I'm very disappointed to write this but if this helps another woman not cry after getting their lashes done, then I'll do it. I liked this place but unfortunately a staff member was very out of line. And they still made me pay for the horrible work Sandra did after she was rude disrespectful and harassed me. This review is about Sandra Perez. After looking at my lashes it was not what we discussed. The lashes looked WORSE then when I came in I couldn't believe it. They were choppy, uneven, chunky fans, gappy, not a cat eye at all. I asked if she could fix a few things about the set and just had the worst attitude telling me "this is what I wanted" "how I wasn't clear enough" and now that time is up and that her new client is here. I'm about to cry in the chair, I'm tearing up trying to tell her how important this is to me that I have a photo shoot tomorrow and I have this event. She did not care at all. She couldn't help me anymore only if I wanted to remove the lashes. So after she kicked me outta the chair I got to the front. No new client was there also. So that was a lie. I'm crying to the receptionist on how I think there was a miscommunication about how this isn't what I wanted and how I don't like them, and Sandra is right there next to the receptionist ARGUING with me about the incident again. Saying "this is what I wanted" and "this is want you asked for" when clearly it's not. Sandra goes back with her new client finally when she actually comes in. When the receptionist is on the phone with the manager I hear Sandra talking sh*t about me to her new client with the door open. I couldn't believe my ears so I act like I go to the bathroom to make sure and as I do I lock eyes with Sandra going to the bathroom so she knows, I know what she was saying about me. Guilty, she comes back up to the receptionist to see what's going on. Mind you I never went to the bathroom I just wanted to make sure what Sandra was saying about me was correct. So all 3 of us back at the receptionist area just me and the receptionist talking about how to fix the mess Sandra made on my eyes and Sandra has nothing to say she is literally just up there to mad dog me, just staring me down. I felt so uncomfortable just trying to talk to the receptionist and not feed into this employee harassing me. They still made me pay for the horrible job Sandra did on me. I write this to warn people to not get your lashes done by Sandra if you don't want to cry or harassed and then pay for it. It's just embarrassing that I mad the manager Tayler texting me not to come back after this. She can't fix the problem or even try to discount the next set for a loyal customer because they're sorry with what happened? No she tells me to not come back. Again Tayler is going to prove my point more on why I wrote this review in the first place her and her employees has issues with arguing with people. All that's going to happen is that she's going to comment argue to try to make herself look good and lie when as a company that looks horrible and you should just say sorry fix the issue and move on. I am so glad I found this place!! I have been looking (High and Low) for a good lash artist who does mega lashes in the Valley. I went to Taylor yesterday and she did an AMAZING job on my lashes! I have been going to another artist that would get my lashes full: but after spending $100 the lashes would nearly all have fallen out after a week and a half. Right after I left my previous lash girl -- I would lose lashes immediately. Since going to Taylor yesterday I haven't lost a single lash bundle. So I had a full set done and they were good. I like them 2 weeks later I made an appointment to get a fill and I called back 10 minutes later if that to see if I could switch from Monday to Tuesday. This was a Thursday. The lady said I could do that, but it would cost me $40! I wasn't cancelling the appointment and I just made the appointment 10 minutes before, I just wanted to move it back a day. I told the receptionist forget it. I have been working at pretty little winks for a week now, and with full confidence I can say this is the most amazing, clean, and beautiful salon i've ever worked at. The owners Tayler and Dillon not only take such amazing care of the salon, but also take amazing care of all of their artists and front desk workers. As a worker here, I can already tell Tayler wants every single one of her artists to thrive and become their best self and create their best work. I am not one to write reviews however I feel strongly obligated to write one for this establishment. I was an on and off client of Pretty Little Winks for 3 years. I was very consistent with my lashes, returning every 2-2.5 weeks for the hour long fill. There were multiple occasions where I felt disrespected by the owner/manager of this business. If you ever have any questions or concerns and communicate that to her, she will refuse to take accountability and instead reflect the issue back onto you. She is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional in the manner in which she takes client feedback. In fact on one occasion she rolled her eyes at me when I simply was asking her to clarify pricing. I was told I'd be charged one amount(since I had already prepaid the deposit and would be given a discount) and when the time came for me to pay, I was told to pay a different amount then the original. Again, I was confused and asked for clarification but instead was met with eye rolling, huffing and puffing. The encounter made me second guess my decision on returning to the establishment. read more

Thank you Taylor the manager and Sandra the lash professional for your efforts to correct my lashes. After I informed Taylor the manager that my lashes were not correct, according to my usual lash style, she was able to have me return to the salon and have another tech attempt to correct them. I am grateful for Sandra the tech assigned to fix my lashes. Sandra was not able to remove the lashes that were installed and correct the lashes how I like it, but it was Sandra's time I valued. She ended up staying after her scheduled work shift to try and fix my lashes and I am very grateful to her for her time. And, though this was not my best lash service at Pretty Little Winks, my prior experiences have been fabulous.
