Then they went in with the gel x. I hadn't tried it previously so I figured I would give it a shot and who knows maybe I might change my choice of nail enhancement. I asked for a tapered square French set. I feel like I personally have chubby fingers so the wrong shape is entirely unflattering. At the end of it I paid and walked out completely unhappy with the nail service. However the pedicure was lovely and absolutely worth the time and the cost. I guess the lesson here is know what services a place actually provides before booking.

Never go to this establishment. They have the worst customer service and the rudest employees…read more I came in after a long day of work. The receptionist didn't even look up from her phone, she was on a FaceTime call, with the volume all the way up. That call also continued through the entire service, which was EXTREMELY disturbing. I stated I was there for a pedicure and she pointed and the seats and said "go there" I sit down and wait, a woman comes up and points to a chair, without saying a word. I mention to her one of my nails was cracked down the center and asked her to add a small dot of acrylic onto the crack. She then proceeds to add an entire tip and FULL acrylic base to my nail. The base color she chose was a dark purple shade and she layered it on at least 5 times. So now my nail was super thick and uneven. She then asked me how I wanted it shaped, and then asked me to tell her when it's good. Not even that, but I ended up having to walk her through the entire shaping process. As I'm sitting, the receptionist then comes up and asks for my card. My service isn't even complete yet and she's asking me for payment. I ask if this is the proper time and she just said "so card?" I hand her my card and she comes back with a receipt of $81. I got an essential pedicure which is $35 and the set of gel which adds $20. Which would ultimately take my total to $55. Not $81. My nail tech was on her phone the entire time and could not communicate well with me, so that's how I ended up in this situation. The next day I called the salon and their solution was to offer me 15% off of my next visit. I asked MULTIPLE times for a full refund and they refused. I then stated I would not be returning, and the manager told me, "I am not going to argue with you, I gave you the discount" Never go to this establishment. They are rude and unprofessional.

By the time I got back, my friend who is meeting me had arrived. Within a minute of that, they took us back to our pedicure chairs... Overall, the ladies did wonderful. My friend got the citrus pedicure and I got the collagen treatment pedicure. I decided to pay the $15 to add 10 minutes to my massage... My friends pedicure seemed to have just as long as a massage so that was a little annoying, but I realize she got the hot stone as well... Anyway, the real reason I am a little upset. Is that on two of my nails on my left foot, the nail polish doesn't go to the edge of the nail... That's one of my biggest pet peeves so I'm a little disappointed about that. The owner/male technician is really a master at his craft. He is fast and sure with his movements. I've seen photos of the artwork he can do, but I didn't ask for anything fancy (just nude/neutral color) so that the manicure can last as long as possible without becoming unsightly. Today, I was at 4.5 weeks from my last fill, and honestly, if I didn't stare too closely, it still looked good before the fill! I feel like that's evidence of a really good technician! So, of all the different types of manicures one can choose from, acrylic (when done by a skilled and experienced tech) seems to last the longest. The salon was quiet and there were 2 other clients in the space during my visit. They prefer appointments, but will sometimes take walk-ins. The owner has always been pleasant and professional at each of my appointments. I'm so glad to have discovered acrylic here, at this salon!

I would highly recommend asking detailed questions about pricing and the technician's experience level before starting your appointment. I have natural nails and requested a dark pink clear polish with my nails shortened. There was no design, artwork, or specialty color involved. During the appointment, the technician asked if I wanted my cuticles cut, and after already beginning the service, informed me that this would now be considered a manicure with additional cost. What surprised me the most was the final result and price. My nails were cut drastically shorter than I expected, and the total came to $90 for acrylic-related services with a very simple clear polish look. Unfortunately, the outcome did not match the cost in my opinion. This is actually the second disappointing experience I've had at this salon, which is why I felt it was important to leave a review for future customers. The salon itself may work well for others, but I personally left feeling unhappy with the communication, pricing transparency, and final result. I can say the establishment is very clean, cute decor.
