Do NOT waste your money at PV Nails. I paid $75 for a full set that looked terrible from the moment I left. They were full of bubbles, uneven, and lumpy. I had to repeatedly ask the technician to smooth them out because she was rushing to get to her next client, and I still left with bumpy, poorly done nails. Six days later, multiple nails were popping off. I went back expecting them to stand behind their work, but instead they refused to fix them unless I paid for another full set, offering only 20% off. To make it worse, they tried to blame me by saying I should have gotten a new set the week before. I never asked for a fill. The technician saw that I needed a full set and chose to do a fill anyway because she was in a rush. Then, when her rushed work failed in less than a week, they refused to take responsibility. I had them remove the nails and left. Save yourself the headache and go to Biltmore Nails instead. It's less than a mile away, less expensive, the quality is far better, and they actually stand behind their work. read more

This is a very nice nail spot, that I've been coming to for a while. I recently gave birth and needed to bring my baby with me to my mani pedi appointment. They were super understanding and so helpful. One of the ladies even held and bounced my kiddo to help out!!! They really went above and beyond! I get dip powder and it's great! The pedicure is relaxing and the massage chairs are clutch. The ladies are honest with me when I ask if I have callouses etc. I never feel like I'm being ripped off. They have good availability, even same day and walk in. They always offer water and are so incredibly nice. I always like the job they do on my nails. read more

They cut the hell out of my toe today, it was bleeding so badly I declined the polish, fearing the bacteria that would enter my gouged and bleeding toe (that bled for 3.5 hours). Then the a*hole manager acted put out by MY being hurt (I was quiet and kept my pain and distress to myself, until I pointed out to him that they cut the sh*t out of my foot.) I would give zero stars if an option I got a pedicure as well as tips added to my nails and I highly regret it. Worst job I've ever had and this is why I don't trust nail techs anymore The tech who's name I don't recall was in such a hurry and the quality is the worst I've ever experienced She added some oil on there and I was on my way. After getting in the car I realized the clear nail polish on my right hand came off from this oil. The bubbles from the tips are completely showing through and she filed them crooked too. Apparently they charge an additional $7 to shape your nails? Weird My pedicure didn't last either after wearing heels. So incredibly upset that I didn't go back and have her fix them but I was rushing off to go get ready for an event and didn't have the time nor did I want to get even more upset before my event. I thought this place was good, maybe depends on your technician. I had Tom for my mani and Rachel for my pedi. They did the quickest, half ass job. They both finished my mani and pedi in about 12 min while I got to sit and watch my friends' last another 30 min, during which time I used one of their Emory boards to finish sanding down my cuticles that they barely touched. I then asked Tom if he could add another coat of nail polish, because it was see through and multiple areas not painted. My toes had zero cuticle removal or cleaning under the nails, and it sorta looks like I just did them at home, by myself. So bummed. Will not be returning, or if I do will request to not have Tom or Rachel. I would wonder if the place doesn't allow their employees to do a thorough job, but my friends technicians took twice or 3 times as long on her. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I have to give it a low review. I tried this place last Saturday with a friend and had a pretty good experience (got a gel mani-pedi)! Everyone was nice, aesthetically pleasing, and not chaotic like other nail salons can be. Sunday night rolls around and I feel a nail chip while tussling my hair. Was a little disappointed my nail chipped so quick, but decided not to judge so quick. Called them up today, asked if I could come in and get it fixed, which they said no problem. Got there and told to look at colors to match and was working on that when the nail tech told me she actually already knew what color from the previous time. I sit down and she starts working. I notice that it's a different tone of red and I wait to see if it changes a little darker after the UV light, but it doesn't. I told her I don't think they match my other nails and showed her. She tells me that's cause my other ones are "old", when I had just got them done 2 days prior. That's not the case, as my nails were this color when I left Saturday. I haven't been here since the spring. The place is much busier, but I had the most enjoyable pedicure where extra time was devoted and I didn't feel rushed. The chairs are somewhat spread apart, which is more Hygenic than some salons where customers are smashed together. I wore a mask as did some customers but not all. The employees are both masked and not, so if that's important to you maybe ask when you make your appointment. There was no nail polish on any of the desks which I thought was amazing. the atmosphere was very comfortable and I can't wait to go back again soon and try out a pedicure with them. My mom did a pink and white french tip gel manicure and i did a gel manicure. They did great and shaped my nails perfectly! Both our nails turned out great and we had an awesome experience! I chose PV Nails because of the Yelp reviews and because they responded so quickly to inquiries through Yelp. They don't do the online booking but they will message you back immediately with an appointment. Everyone online was talking about Tammy and I happened to randomly get paired with her for a manicure. More on Tammy later... she's the best. I avoid nail salons in general because I think they stink. I was prepared to go in with a mask. PV Nails has no stink! No headache from noxious nail fumes! I was greeted by the owner (I believe) as his is the face that matches the Yelp owner pic. He was very kind and accommodating. The salon is open and airy and pretty. They have nice beverages including wine if you are interested. Win win. The best part was being paired with Tammy. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to my nails. All I know is that mine are hideous. I work with building materials all day and mine look like s"!&. She talked me though the different treatments I could do and we settled on powder. Apparently this is the strongest option and will last the longest with my abuse. Tammy was quick, skilled and funny. My nails look awesome. I will be going back to her in two weeks so she can keep my hands looking pretty. She has a great sense of humor. Note: They ask for cash tips. I failed at this. I will be prepared next time. I dropped in there last minute for a manicure and pedicure. I tried a SNS nail dip manicure that doesn't have to go under a UV light that is better for your nails! So I'm excited to see how long they last. I was told it should last 3 weeks. The young man that did them did a great job! The top coat on my nails cause the white to go a light ivory color and it feels a little rubbery which is not my preference.
