Awful salon The nail tech didn't say two words to me except at the end when he told me to wash my hands. Tried to use previously used nail files on me and was disgruntled when I asked him to please use a new file. Who does that in this day and age of infection control? Do no other customers notice this? By far the worst set of nails I have ever gotten for the most amount of money! I was thankful they were open on a sunday when I broke a nail and went for a full set hard gel back fill. When I arrived they told me I needed to get acrylic. I almost walked out, because he booked the appointment for gel but then they said No-we will do! SO I sat down at a station and of course I get some guy. (My pet peeve is having some dumb guy with no idea how us women like our nails attempt to do our nails. Its usually a bad job.) I wasnt even sure he worked there or was licensed as he had me move stations a few times like he wasnt sure where to go. While he was doing my nails he never brushed the dust off and there was dust all over his and my hands the entire time. He filed my nails down to nubs until I said Stop! I wear my nails long like when I came in! I dont want them any shorter! And the shape of my nails were all different. Basically I got a crooked, stubby round shaped nail, but I came in with soft square with a nice length. Normally full set gels are around $40-49 in this area. They charged me $50 PLUS $9 color. Nobody has ever charged me for the color when getting a full set. It was just ridiculous. To top it off, my nails all started lifting and cracking the next day!! read more

I was a longtime customer here- they always did a great job. I went in yesterday and I had a great pedicure, but my full set is very thick and bumpy. The manager told me they had to make my nails thick because my natural nail is too thin, but I've never had this issue before and the nails are lumpy. Just really poor work and unfortunately I spent $80.00 on a set I'll be having removed today. It is unfortunate that they wouldn't work with me after being a longtime customer. Manager said they would "fix" them but he doesn't think they will hold up. Poor poor customer service. Do not make the same mistake I did - just go somewhere else. The pedicure was very tepid water, I asked for warmer. Afterwards my toes looked very sloppy after checking them out when I got home. The owner said in the message I sent that all tools are auto clave sterilized but none of the tools used on me came out of single use packages. I had high hopes after reading the other reviews but after getting a pedicure there last week I am highly disappointed. The salon is nice and clean and the guy at the front is friendly. My woman didn't really talk at all and that's fine. There should be TVs so you can watch something while getting a pedicure. I also didn't know you HAVE to tip in cash and would have brought cash with me if I had known. Instead they make you use their atm which has a surcharge. My pedicure didn't even last one week. 4 days after getting it, multiple nails started to chip. Really disappointing for a $40 pedicure. read more

This was my first time going to Pv Nails. Today I went to get a dip powder holographic manicure and I also got a pedicure. I got dip because it lasts longer than gel. The main issue I had about this place was that after I left, 10 min later I realized that one of my nails had a small knick in it. I went back and asked if they could fix the nail since I had just spent over $100 there ($60 for the manicure). I got a different nail tech (because that's who was available). She didn't start the nail over, but just buffered out a partial of the area and redipped my nail to cover the spot. I asked her as she was fixing it if it was going to look the same and she said that it will look a little bit different since she had to buffer the nail. The WHOLE POINT of going back to fix my nail was so it could look like all the other nails!! I left the place again and realized when I was in better lighting that she used a completely different powder color than all my other nails. So now I have 9 nails that are a pink color tint and the nail that was "fixed" is a silver tint. In certain lightings it looks okay but it is still bothersome. It's just upsetting because I spent a lot of money on these nails and I am also going to a wedding in a couple weeks. I so badly want to go back and have them redo it again but at this point I am just going to say 'screw it'. The initial people that did my nails were very nice and the place was decorated nicely. I do not want to be one of THOSE customers who complains to their face, as I do feel bad for already going back once to get it fixed, however I will not be returning. They have won me over the past 5 months with their excellent costumer service and friendly environment. I pay less for a "dip manicure" at my regular place than I did here and only got my color changed. They did not take their time and didn't clean up the color/mistakes around our nail beds. I went for my first time and I'll be back. They were quick to respond when I scheduled an appointment through Yelp. 5 stars for the ambiance. Vo was amazing he took his time on my nails. Checked to make sure I liked them throughout the process. I've already booked my next appointment. Vo gets 5 stars I rated it an overall 4 due to my pedicure. The woman was nice and friendly. However, after leaving I noticed paint on the cuticles of my feet and I still have a callous on my left foot after paying for the removal. I'll still be back but will ask for a different tech. There's a couple of people here that do great work! However I will NEVER go back. I called to see if my favorite nail tech was available and I was told yes and that I could come in. I said I'd be there in 5 minutes. I show up and the front desk lady argues with me that I called the wrong place and then proceeds to tell me that the nail tech I want is unavailable for another hour. Ummm...I just called and you said she was available. I didn't have any other time in my day to get my nails done so it was a very disappointing result. My suggestion is that you don't find a tech you like because the front desk can't be relied upon to tell the truth. They just want the business and don't care about customer service. read more

Asked which pedicure product, I told her the quickest (as i was now running late). Wow. Susan is an ARTIST. I can't stop staring at my nails. Never before has a manicurist taken so much care to make my nails perfect. You can't tell in the pictures but my middle nail fans out way more than the other ones. Susan took extra time to make it appear straight and narrow and uniform with the other nails. Most manicurists would've just left it looking weird and misshapen. The nails are slim, smooth, and lightweight, definitely not thick, chunky, or bulky. I really appreciated that she did a couple layers of clear dip over the color, giving the nails an almost 3d appearance, like a glossy jelly. No oversell of services which I like. Kim is super fast she did an acrylic fill in half the time as other places. She also did my brows really good job very fast and clean. I will definitely be back. The top coat on my nails cause the white to go a light ivory color and it feels a little rubbery which is not my preference.
