I cannot say enough good things about Dipping Nail Spa! They are the only nail salon I have trusted to do my nails and wax my eyebrows since 2019. The atmosphere is calming with soft color touches here and there. The music is relaxing and the tv is on something interesting. What stands out the most is that their customer service is exemplary and rarely seen. Ken offers a bottle water as soon as I walk in the door and a second bottle if I need one. Although I do not need to explain what I want done because Kelly remembers and performs excellent service the nail techs provide you with exactly what you ask for. I'm beyond disappointed with this salon. I will start from the beginning so you can truly understand why. I wanted my lower legs waxed prior to going on vacation. I have had this done many times and I've never received such a poor wax. Pictures below. Then, they tried up charging me at check out even though I confirmed price right before she started. Next part of my bad review is going to blow your mind. The woman didn't let me choose my gel nail polish for my pedicure. I chose a color and a glitter to go over top. I realize doing a glitter alone doesn't look good because it can be opaque unless you do multiple layer. She said my color wasn't good with the glitter and chose a different color for me. I trusted this woman and ended up with a color underneath I didn't like. When she asked if I liked it, I was honest and said no. Another woman came over and placed another two layers of glitter on my toes. The polish is SO thick and I didn't have time to get them redone. I sucked it up and I'm dealing with the consequences now. I'm mad that I didn't stick with my normal couple places but you live and you learn. To top it all off I was chased to my car because the man who checked me out realized he had given me the wrong change. Brought a picture of what I wanted which was barely glanced at. Had to get different colors because they didn't have ones I initially picked. Nails were uneven, which is whatever. I can live with that. But I just got my nails done this past Friday and today (Wednesday) my nail breaks while getting my daughter out of her car seat!! Disappointed. Haven't been back in about 6 months due to how I was treated and was blamed and yelled out in front of other customers. They told me when I went in to get my nail fixed that I need to be more careful doing my laundry. The owners have no problem blaming everything on you and on top of that will take almost 3/4 hours for a pedi and dip. They have employees that aren't family rotating, more likely because of the hostile work environment they have. Kelly defended a client who had no business butting into my disagreement and proceeded to tell me to chill out. Kelly and her husband then decided they would rather keep a new client over a client of 3 yrs!!! They proceeded to surround me and invade my space by shuffling me out the door yelling we have the right to refuse you service and this is your fault, you always act so crazy- yet I almost never talk while I am there. Absolutely love this place! Their dipped bails stay on and don't lift! I have to get them redone in three weeks because of my nail growth, not because of the product. The chairs are amazing and give super massages with a variety of pedicure plans. Their sugar scrub is nice and soft, not abrasive. All of the technicians are wonderful. I never specify as I know they are all great! I had been a customer at another salon for 20 years and randomly tried this place. They will have all of my business here on out. He last few times I have gone my nails come out terrible. My nails have been chipping and they have lumps and bubbles in them. My pedicures have been lousy. When I make an appt and say I want a specific tech for my pedicure I'm told we will take care of you but when I'm in the chair I get someone else. I try again to say I don't want the new person but when you bring it to owners attention they don't seem to care and make excuses. It also takes 3-4 hours to get a pedicure and dip done. You need to learn how to take responsibility for your poor customer service and you use the language barrier as a reason why you didn't understand and then your staff talks about me. I speak Cantonese, Vietnamese and Mandarin. The you try and charge me more than what I was told so I had to report craud on my card. Your responses are blaming the customer for our bad experience. I was in not too long ago for a manicure and I just had to come back for a pedicure. I came into the salon with witches toes and left with princess toes.
