Went in to get my nails done, brought my sister with me. Was seen right away, and they were very kind and gentle.

God awful. First they were rude but I ignored it thinking it was worth spoiling myself and getting my nails done. After my pedi she attempted to paint my toes... it was as if she had never painted before. The color was everywhere, all over my cuticles and very chunky.. I asked her to please remove it. Then they "removed" my dip polish but left them with dip still on parts and jagged and awful... Insane they claim to do nails... worst quality I've ever experienced. And they still charged me $45! Yikes Update: I am at a nail salon down the street to have my nails fixed and they were shocked how bad my nails were done at Vivid. My pedicure was nicely done. Billy took the lead on my nails. He asked me just a few questions and evaluated my nails and knew exactly what to do. Even though it was his first time working on my nails, his experience and sharp eye far exceeded my expectations. The shape was perfect, the thickness was natural and the gel application balanced. So incredibly disappointed in this salon. My bestie is getting married on Saturday and we went to Vivid on Monday to get her nails done. She showed a photo of acrylic, ombré, square shaped nails with gems on the ring finger (picture 1) They gave her short, stubby nails and a fat ass French tip with awful, thick gems (picture 2) What the heck.... we were here FIVE hours. SHE IS GETTING MARRIED. And they acted like the nails were the same and super beautiful..really trying to sell a terrible job.... We booked another apt with a different nail salon to get them removed and get the nails she wanted. 8 hours spent on nails when it should've been 1.5 hours max. Severe waste of time and money. I could not believe that she could not even get a sizeable amount of cuticle off. It was like she was afraid to touch my skin. I will own that it is partially my fault. When my pet peave is presented to me in the very beginning, I should have excused myself. I HATE when technicians DONT use their words and ASK me to lift my foot. My friend and I came into Scottsdale from Seattle and immediately went to Vivid Nails & Spa after a long awaited pampering since everything has been closed. From the moment we walked in, the workers made us feel right at home! We both got the Lavender Pedicure and a Regular Manicure. The pedicure was absolutely amazing! They really took their time on each of us and made sure we both had the best experience they could give. The regular manicure also included a arm and hand massage that was equally as amazing! We ended up spending only $65 each for the lavender pedicure, french tips, and a regular manicure. They were also super super friendly, which you don't typically find at nail salons. (at least in Seattle) We spent most of the time conversing with the workers and we really enjoyed our time there! If we ever end up back in Scottsdale, we will most definitely come back!! read more

I enjoyed myself at this salon. However, I came here because it was a reasonable price for a basic pedicure with an extra charge for gel. I wasn't aware that removing calluses was extra. It wasn't a deal but after I left I realized I didn't get the hot stones but they made sure I paid for my callus removal. Just disappointed that they make sure to get the extra costs but didn't actually give me what I was originally paying. It wasn't busy either so I'm attempting to chalk it up to us having conversation. Just make sure they provide the services you want and pay for because they make sure you pay for any extras and as a customer I expect the same in reverse. read more
