I went here with my mom on Monday. They were able to get us right in for pedicures and gel manicures with acrylic fills. We were offered water as soon as we sat down. It was a very welcoming environment, clean, calm, soft music, and good conversation. They've both been doing nails for over 35 years. We both got the standard pedicure, they weren't rushed, nice and relaxing, and great attention to detail. Our manicure/fills were done with gel polish. They did exactly what we both asked for, paid close attention to anything we asked to be adjusted, and there were no cuts or nicks, the polish was applied smoothly with attention to detail. I would drive the 30+ minutes to go to them again. read more

I made an appointment for my friend and I to get a mani and a pedi on a Saturday early afternoon. It was pretty quiet when we got there. There were only 2 people working and they were nice. However, more customers started to show up and one of the technicians started rushing really bad. My friend and I both got an acrylic set and they were so lumpy and thick! Her's was even worse than mine and one of them fell off within 4 days! Not impressed at all. I'm also shocked that there were only 2 people working on a Saturday and annoyed that we were rushed when we made appointments beforehand. I have been having trouble finding a good nail salon lately. The ones I went to weren't awful but they also didn't do as well as I wanted them to. So, I looked for another one and I stumbled upon this gem. I loved this place! Billy was my nail tech and he did an amazing job. I have really sensitive nails so I tend to get burned easily. He didn't burn my nails at all and he took time to make the nails look amazing. I got an SNS full set. They have never looked better and I will definitely be coming back. read more

They make you feel very comfortable, provide wine or other beverages, and make your whole experience so pleasant. They take their time, and never make us feel rushed. It was a beautiful day off... My morning errands and appointments went according to plan - like clockwork! The next stop was my long time nail salon for a relaxing gel fill and gel pedicure only to find they were closed for the day unexpectedly. Normally, it wouldn't be an issue and I'd put off going until the weekend, but I had already waited too long as it was and had my heart set on relaxing for a while. So, I head off into the abyss... knowing there are nail salons practically on every corner, I'd find one I liked eventually. Headed up towards Greenway and Tatum and there it was... VIVID NAILS. As I walked in, I was a little uncertain at first. The salon was VERY clean and had very pretty details, but it seemed a bit sparse to me. The two technicians were just finishing up their clients and happily greeted me in. The techs, who I found out during a very fun and pleasant conversation were a married couple of 30 years who had just opened 5 months ago. They were absolutely delightful and did an amazing job on my nails! They even accomplished softening up my desert dry heels - more so than any other pedicure has done in quite a while! I decided to treat my mom and I to a girls day on Wednesday and we initially went into Paradise Nails, which is just up the sidewalk from Vivid Nails, but they had the same washed out colors so we decided to pop into Vivid... I am beyond happy we walked in. We were greeted by both Billy and Lilly who are the sweetest people ever. We choose this place because of location, we are visiting from Ohio. We always enjoy a couple foot massage. My husband knows he won't see anybody he know, and he loves the feel of smooth clean feet. He always says he weights less due to the cleaning they do. Well, this place was excellent. Clean...clean...clean. Very nice couple. Pedicures were as professional as we have ever had. Tools were removed from sealed bags and everything was really well done. The husband said I had a hang nail which was why my large toe has always hurt. I broke a nail this morning, went in for a pedicure and they fixed it and freshened up the other 9 nails just so I make it to next week, my next appointment.No Charge!!! Lily is very considerate to her clients. She helped a client out of the pedicure chair and into her wheelchair and wheeled her out to her car. That is special thoughtful customer service. i love her pedicures and she always makes my eyebrows look better than they are. Really impressed with this nail salon! I love taking my daughters to get manis/pedis on special mom/daughter dates. We have tried multiple different nail salons in the valley but never seem to go back to the same one... until NOW! We have found our "home" nail salon and will continue to come back. The salon is super clean and classy. The owners greeted us and made my daughters feel special and spoiled! Most nail salons do not pay as much attention to detail on the kids nails.. but not the case with this nail salon! I really want to like this nail salon since the owners are really nice but I came here three times due to second time going in for fixing because the husband didn't seal the sns powder and there was gap between my nails and the powder. The third time I went which was yesterday thinking I will give this place another try since is close by my house but yet the owners wife blamed it on the color I picked when I reached out to her. My nails has white patches over it because she attempted to fix her mistakes by removing the powder and filing it and then re dipping my nails in the powder then over filing it. My nails also uneven and has sns powder over my cuticle. For paying 40 dollars, I expect professional work and I'm just very upset I should have drove the extra miles to see my usual nail lady instead. Will not be coming back to this place ever and do not let the their professional page photos fool you, my nails don't nothing like that. This is the one of the worst nail salon I've ever been, not sure how these two stay in business. Being nice doesn't satisfy the clients needs when the services are not met!!! read more

I found my new spa! Billy and Lily were awesome and a joy to talk to. I went in wanting a spa pedicure and an eyebrow waxing. Lily gave me a great eyebrow wax and then Billy gave me the spa pedicure. I have never had a pedicure like this, all for $35!! Billy was engaging and it made the time go by pleasantly. The hot stone leg massage near the end was amazing!! After that, I decided to get a quick facial by Lily. So relaxing! My skin felt wonderful! The place is extremely clean and organized. And it was so nice to meet friendly people. There are at least 3 nail salons in this center alone but Vivid is by far the best. Billy & Lily are always welcoming and provide great service. Billy is detail oriented and will not let you walk out without your total satisfaction with your nails. Came in on Sunday 5/19 for a gel polish change on hands and feet. I originally wanted dip powder on my hands but they were busy with only two people working. I had made an appointment that morning to ensure I would be in and out quick. Certainly not the case. Decided to do gel on my hands instead to expedite the process as I was already waiting longer than expected. The man filed my nails way too thin even when I explained to him that I'm trying to grow them out naturally. He ended up basically destroying the strength I finally regained. Now my polish is peeling and cracking after only 4 days. For a gel polish change on feet and hands for almost $60, not worth it at all. Very nice couple but unfortunately won't be back. read more

Best customer service I've ever had!!! I've been to a few nail salons and I've never been treated this good. My fiancé and I came in for a mani/pedi since we're having our engagement photo shoot the next day so we thought we'd pamper ourselves. We just walked in since there was no appointment required. We came in towards the end of the day, about an hour before they close. They were still working on a couple of people. So we waited for a little bit then they set up everything for us. They had us soak our feet and gave us complimentary drinks while we wait for them to finish up, it was a pleasant surprise! A family came in right after us so it got busy. The lady (whom I forgot to ask for her name! Who I assume was also the owner along with her husband) was really good at multitasking all while keeping the quality of her work really good! The husband and wife were so sweet and so nice to us. A lot of nail salons usually would only do a couple of coats of the nail polish and that's it, but she made sure that there weren't any thin coats on my nails and made sure my nails got dry before we left. She was working on us while also reassuring the other customers that she'll take care of them. The place is so nice and relaxing. It's also very clean and it seems like they sanitize their instruments, which is a great plus! I can't emphasize enough how much I like this place! I am definitely going back but this time, I'll make an appointment! read more

Cindy ( Lily) she told her name is Cindy but on the business card she write Lily too was a very sweet lady. She did a good job. The guy did my pedi but I was not so pleased with him, he was kind of rude so Cindy finished his job. I will only go to her. Worst shellac manicure ever. It was bumpy, all over the edges and underneath my nails and it peeled in 5 days. It's been 8 days and 2 nails have no polish in them. My cuticles in 2 fingers were cut and she put nail glue on it to stop the bleeding. I thought she pulled out medicine like Neosporin. Save your $. read more

Loved them. I went for a pedi today and observed them going above and beyond for everyone, including myself. They were bouncing between new clients and finished/drying clients to ensure everything was meeting expectations, regulars came in and they jumped right into conversations that clearly indicated they cared, remembered, and knew about their clients lives. For myself, allergies hit me hard today, but it was my chance to get a pedi as my hubby took our baby out for a hike. They brought out some menthol oil for me to breathe in to help- amazing! I went and bought some after I left. My pedi was perfect, they took their time, paid attention to details, made sure The callus remover doing its job (I have terribly dry feet), obviously made sure I was happy and comfortable. The owners were extremely friendly and nice. Both worked on my nails, the gentleman did the fill and shaping which turned out very nice, but the paint job was done by his wife and thats where my experience lacked. She did seem to have an issue with the nail polish that I had picked, must been an older polish since it had thickened, although that's not really an excuse since as a business you should have fairly new and fresh products that are always available to you. The paint didn't go all the way to the edges or even all the way to the tip on a few nails and on others she went too far and even painted the skin and even though she tried cleaning up the edges, it was a bit of a fail. I always give places a second chance, I do hope to go back for a pedicure at some point and I'll give them one more chance with another fill before deciding on if I make them my go to location. It's definitely the customer service the owners have that'll make me go back. They seem to be genuinely caring people I've heard a lot of good things from repeat customers. read more

Very friendly, responsive, and attentive. I requested French Tip for my pedicure and I am happily pleased.
