My first encounter was great, but I couldn't remember her name. I thought I knew, but on my second encounter I had a different person. This place reminds me of a sweat shop with so many workers and the person that schedules the appointments is not very personable. It's all business. If you are a new person and not a regular, it's like, 'Hurry up and get over here' and points to the chair and rushes you over there. I discovered Five Star Nail Salon after Covid hit. I've been going ever since. The staff is super nice & the salon is always clean. Tommy is always making sure he acknowledges you when you walk in (that's super important to me) . I've gotten an array of services from eye brow wax to pedicures to acrylics. I've never had a problem with my nails. I'm not getting dip and I like it so much better. When you come , they always take their time no matter how packed the salon is and that's what keeps me coming back. It's nothing like having a pamper day when the pamper is left out because you're getting rushed. This doesn't happen here. Great service every time, and if there is a problem, Tommy will definitely fix it. I spent a lot of time taking to Linda about gel nails, acrelyic and dip nails. After a pedicure (basic with callous removal) for which I was very happy, I decided on trying the powder gel nails. I like the outcome but its taking time to get used to it since I have done my own manicures (just basic) with no color. I will try a different powder gel color next time. The light pink color I chose ... looks less than the light I had I expected and the color looks neon to me. However again, it takes some getting used to. Received a friendly hello and all three of us were seated side-by-side and handled with great care. My niece had a French pedicure and myself, and her daughter had natural nail pedicures. The techs are great, As is their work. The front end management "Tommy", is rude, surly, and condescending. Not long ago, I called to make a an appointment with my usual tech, and he said she had left, and cited customer complaints as the reason. I was very disappointed, as Krystal was wonderful. As soon as I sat down in the chair, the tech that helped me said that that was not True. She left because of him. He seems to be very selective as to the customers he is nice too. I can only imagine how the techs are treated. I do not recommend this shop, and I will not return. read more

Not The Best i've been going here for 4 years on and off and it's an okay nail salon for the price, except for today, i just got my acrylics taken off and wanted dip to replace. first i was cut with the dremel on the side of my hand and it hurt so bad. then when my nail tech said i was done i went to the front and asked if the red residue could be taken off around my fingers. They tried taking it off and got a little bit of it off. Then i went to the front again and the manager looked at them and was like these are bad and had the nail tech fix them again by taking off the top layer and redoing it. after this my fingers hurt so bad from all the filing and making me bleed and i just wanted to go home. after going back to the chair twice this is still what they looked like. i feel like i could've done these and saved $55. can't wait to get them done somewhere else. read more
