Once I was settled, he brought me a mimosa (an AMAZING first). I had requested a fill and a pedicure. Susy took care of my manicure and perfectly executed exactly what I was looking for! She was funny, conversational and skilled! I couldn't ask for anything better and I will absolutely be sticking with her from now on! First time here and I won't be back. The staff were very friendly, but that was about the only good thing. This is a gel manicure that I got on Saturday. Two of my nails have already chipped within two days. The person doing my nails cut me pretty bad on two of my nails with the cuticle cutter (I've never had that happen before). And the manicure itself just looks like it should have cost $25, when it was $50. I also don't think I saw the persons certificate next to her stand, so makes me think she's not licensed. They were the first to respond to my request on Yelp. Easy to schedule and close to the JW Marriott. They do charge more if you use a credit card so bring cash or a debit card. Other than that the staff was friendly and offered drinks when I checked in. I chose the pedicure with 2 added services. I also got a manicure and enjoyed the hot towels and massage very much. I went to this salon expecting the same or better service than what I get at the Polishroom. I like the idea of a cocktail that was a plus! My son arranged this for a mani pedi for Mother's Day. For the pedicure it took over an hour. The gel polish job is terrible. And no massage at all during the pedicure. It took her over 30 minutes just to get the gel polish off my nails. They don't use acitone. She kept scraping and scraping at my nails. I had Crome put on and it's been maybe 3 days and it's wearing off. She never used a buffing file just the hard file that tears up the nails. Now I have to wait for a few weeks for my nails to recover before going for a new mani/pedi. I'll stick to the Polishroom I'd rather have pretty toes and nails than a cocktail! read more

The polish job was not as precise as it should have been, sides of both mine and my friends toenails were left bare. Some of mine didn't get a top coat either. I wanted to treat myself to a gel manicure, my daughter to a spa pedicure, and my granddaughter (6 year old) gel color only. My bill, including tip for two female, and one male technician totaled $174. The owner/manager charged me a gel manicure for my six-year-old granddaughter which I specifically told him I didn't want. I only wanted gel color nothing else. He argued with me when I questioned my bill. It's not about the bill. It's about how I was treated when I questioned the service provided. I live across the street and have used their services many times for myself and my daughter. I asked if I qualified for any discounts and he said no only on Thursdays. This is on Saturday afternoon. I will be returning to my previous nail salon, Pink Pedal Nail Spa, 20 minutes away, which I highly recommend. read more

I feel bad doing a review because I have been going here for so long with a few family members, but honestly after the second time in a row of me leaving in tears due to the owner, I have to say something. I was scheduled with my husband and my mother in law for monthly gel pedicures and I had time booked with Susy for nail art. Two times in a row, I was pushed off on someone else, and left in tears. Stephanie was literally was going to leave me sitting with my feet in the bowl with my pedicure not done because her next client was there. Susy was supposed to do art and I literally just said I want to be done because I felt like me being there as a client was an inconvenience. I was in tears after having an emotional day and on top of it, two of my toes were cut and raw and now I have to put peroxide on them. This review is all over the place I know, but my point is that I was treated poorly by the owner and after going here for years....it is very difficult to justify going back and giving them my money. My absolute favorite nail techs are Colleen and David and they are absolutely amazing and what keeps me coming back. I won't be back in if I don't have them helping me. read more

Love the vibe and the friendliness of the gentleman at the front. Drink of choice is nice too. Both times I've gone for a pedicure I've been told by the same lady I don't have much calluses which I don't, but other places at least exfoliate more. I've paid for the additional massage and it's turned out to be shorter than any other regular massage in a pedicure I've gotten other places without paying for more. Not worth it. My toes look fine but as for the massage and relaxation of the pedicure, I've had much better. Plus, the lady sighs a lot. Perhaps it's a habit she isn't aware of but it makes you as the patron feel like you are either annoying her or she doesn't want to be there. I'll try somewhere else next time. read more

I chose this salon for its location and great reviews, but my experience was disappointing. They had no record of my appointment, and the tech seemed unprepared. She burned two of my nails during dip removal, cut three fingers (two of them bled), and applied a thick purple glitter polish instead of the clear sparkle I picked. I requested thin dip and no UV light due to a history of cancer--but she used a gel top coat anyway. They also tried to charge $15 for dip removal without mentioning it upfront. Their website claims "Super Sanitary - no double dipping," but I watched them pour used powder back into the original container. I won't be returning. read more

The place is clean, decorated nicely, and mostly doesn't smell like a typical nail salon. Everyone was friendly and fun to chat with. I was able to sip on champagne while getting pampered. I just moved here and was excited to have a nail bar so close to me but my 1st trip, the polish on my toes flaked off immediately. Decided to give it one more try. It took 2 1/2 hrs for a mani/pedi, much confusion (had new tech learning), showed a pic and still didn't get what I wanted or am accustomed to. They do not do dip hombre and they will not do your mani/pedi at the same time. I do not enjoy taking any longer than necessary and this took too long for me. read more

I decided to try out this nail salon today and it was by far the WORST experience I have ever had and I do not recommend. It started out with the nail tech, Stephanie, confirming that the salon had the SNS dip color I wanted and then later I find out that no they did not. When she asked if I wanted them shorter, I responded that I would like them to be cut as short as possible and the shape to be square with rounded corners to avoid sharp corners. This was not how my nails were at the end. This was also the first time I have ever had a manicure where the finger nails are not soaked to soften the cuticles. Pushing back and trimming the cuticles without soaking to soften the skin first is quite uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure that is not how it's supposed to be done. I have also never had someone use a drill so much on my finger nails to the point that I could feel the burning from the drill through my finger nails. I ended up having several nicks or cuts from the drill on pretty much every finger and more than one on some fingers. The cut on my thumb was left untreated until I asked near the end if it could be cleaned to avoid being trapped under the top coat. Stephanie sprayed my hands with what I assume was alcohol and used an abrasive brush to clean off the excess powder causing pain from the stinging of the alcohol and rubbing a very coarse brush in all the open nicks and cuts on my fingers. This was the point where I really should have gotten up and left as the experience just got worse. When I nicely asked her to file some of the nails that were visibly uneven, Stephanie rudely responded "Not from my angle." So then I turned my hand around to show her from the front upright angle the ones to file, so they would be even and again rudely Stephanie responded, " I don't do it that way. I do it my way." I have never encountered this kind of combative customer service and was taken aback. She finally fixed a couple of them and I didn't feel comfortable saying anything else, so I ended up with the shortness inconsistent and a round not square shape as I had asked at the beginning of my appointment. This was the worst experience and I should have told the manager before I left as I strongly feel I should not have paid for this service which was pricey to begin with, but I honestly just wanted to leave and didn't want to be offered for someone to fix it as my hands had been through enough by the end. I wish I had gotten up and walked out once it got to the alcohol in the cuts part of the process, because in the end I walked out with my nails not the color I wanted, not the length or shape I asked for, and with a bunch of nicks/cuts all over my fingers that never should have happened, and I deserve a full refund. read more

What a lovely experience this was! My mom and I were in town for a wedding, and she insisted I let her book me a pedicure (okay mom, twist my arm! lol). M3V is just across the street from where we were staying so we made a reservation for mid-afternoon. It's a wonderfully-kept space. Bright and spacious with colors of red splashed across all areas of the salon. I was directed to wash my hands, choose a color for my toes, and take a seat in one of their many comfy massage recliners. My mom wasn't getting a service done but they let her sit next to me in her own massage chair and enjoy the complimentary wine! Being pregnant, I skipped the wine myself but had blackberry-cucumber sparkling water, which was perfect. Oh and did I mention the unlimited chocolate on offer? Yum. The manicurist doing my nails, Erin, was so great! She was kind and attentive - we really enjoyed her company. I chose the "level two" pedicure (I think that's what it was called), so I was able to pick two add-ons. I went for the deep-moisture wax service and an extended foot massage. Both definitely added to the nice experience. I left with wonderfully painted toes, and the smoothest feet (much needed after a long Wisconsin winter). Thanks M3V!
